You can't just call that thing straight away with just a small news on ripples . I agree that it had shown immense growth but still it's far away from being the future of currency . Well who knows that ripple might cross Bitcoin in future , but this thing is way to far to be honest .
No, I don't think so. Maybe banks will integrate it and use it as a currency, but it is centralized, and defeats the purpose of the blockchain. The oppressed will definitely not use XRP as a currency.
ripple would be the future of bank but i dont think it would be uses as money. i would choose xlm as a currency and it would be the future of our transaction and will be good as good as bitcoin for transfering method.
I think the ripple can beat the bitcoin. The cost of the token is just over $ 3 now.

I think that ripple has the possibility to be the future of crypto currency. It is being regulated and tracked by the banks. Its price and value has increased last 2nd half of the year 2017. I will say the that it has a possibility but there are still better than it

I don't think it would be the world's currency. It would be a tool to trade trust between Banks.I think ripple wants to be a bridge between cryptocurrency and fiat as far as I know. I see ripple trying to increase the price and it is good for us because we can make a profit from this. I cannot imagine how much people will get their profit if they buy ripple when the price is too cheap. although now the price is not too expensive and we could still buy ripple again. I only hope that ripple could increase more than now and I think ripple can rise until $5 later.

Do you want to adopt a blockchain platform owned by outsiders where members of the public own the currency of the platform and can presumably hack the system and profit by trading that currency? Or would you rather adopt a closed system owned by the banks (like the current SWIFT system) where even if someone hacked it they could never spend or trade it?

Agreed, ripple might get termed as the currency of the future. The growth has happened all of the sudden taking the price reach higher as well get listed among the top coin with the largest market capital. Some users have termed this to be temporary, but looking the growth happening, it is clear that ripple willl grow further. 
I totally agree and have invested XRP. Bitcoin sounds nice but it is like Utopia on internet. It will have same destiny like it was in the world.
To be honest, the society we have been living in has all been centralized, it's no wonder if the centralization part also becomes the dominant on the internet, XRP is backed by the banking system and already started adoption, if you're comparing banking system backing with few whales, eventually bankers will win because they also control fiat some how.
Thus in my opinion XRP/XLM, will be one of the biggest currencies in the future, everything that can be backed with reality (banking systems or anything centralized ) will be always most likely more organized and backed by big entities, making them valuable .

It's to early to say that ripple is the currency of the future. This may still encounter some problems along the way. A test how the developer react and do some actions.

Really hard to believe that XRP's gains have even been so high. This makes me feel panic.
I was even shocked that day when i saw Ether was replaced by Ripple in terms of market capitalization. I am starting to believe now that this alt coin has really a future since it is backed with banks across the globe.
Yes, this is a very strong project, which aims to really make people's lives easier. And that's why I also believe that this coin will someday become very expensive

My gut says yes but there is no sensible reasoning behind it. What i see is that they are partnering with the top 4 money remitance company and quoting the CEO they all seem to agree ripple works more efficiently.

Ripple is another cryptocurrency that is growing beside Bitcoin and Ethereum. The idea of ripple is to make instant transactions in the entire financial sector possible using the blockchain technology. Though general rise of the price is expected, not every month in 2018 could be the same. Some months we can expect downfalls. Many of the banks do not like the idea of some other financial institution to regulate their actions and cryptocurrencies.
Not really. Ripple token is not usable for the txns being done on the network. It is just a share of the network.
There are a lot of criticism being thrown at Ripple as being a centralized one same as bankers.

I don't think it would. There are too many payment crypto currently and many more are still on the way coming...
