Kadyrov introduced sanctions against Obama and the EU leadership

(https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mk.ru%2Fupload%2Fobjects%2Farticles%2FdetailPicture%2F6f%2F4f%2F01%2F11%2F0169387_1392628.jpg&t=542&c=iKxUNTMn9hxaaw) (FORUM: disabled on this page for security.)

"In response to the EU sanctions, Head of the Chechen republic has decided to create own sanctions list. In particular, Kadyrov said, that U.S. President Barack Obama as well as the EU leaders Jose Manuel Barroso and Herman Van Rompuy are now banned from entering Chechnya and their assets in Chechnya will be frozen."

Trolling must go on Cheesy

Hahaha this is great.  Cheesy I find it ironic how all of these political games started directly after the Olympic games in Russia.
Where can I see the complete list of all sanctions?

Conversation: How Vladimir Putin Rose, and Could Fall, in Russia
http://www.stratfor.com/video/conversation-how-vladimir-putin-rose-and-could-fall-russia#axzz38QRY16Ab

Quote
David Judson: Hello, I'm David Judson, editor-in-chief of Stratfor. Today, joining me is George Friedman, founder and chairman of Stratfor. I want to talk about what's kind of obvious, which is Russia in the broadest sense. But what I want to specifically talk about today, George, this week you in your column raised the yet-open question: Can Putin survive? That question remains open, but I kind of wanted to back up to the history of analysis we've done looking at Russia and its changing power relationships with not only itself internally, but what the West…take us back to 1998, when we raised basically the question: Can Boris Yeltsin survive?

George Friedman: Well, I mean, 1998 came after a major financial crisis in Russia and the realization that Russia -- as it was constituted in 1991, '92 -- didn't work, and that privatization had led to the growth of massive oligarchies, and that Russia was really being humiliated in foreign policy and how could Yeltsin survive? And it became increasingly clear that with all the problems Russia was having, the kind of regime that Yeltsin had couldn't survive and that it wouldn't.

I've noticed this worrying post in the Donetsk thread. It's more on topic here:

DOES RUSSIA (AND HUMANITY) HAVE A FUTURE?
The Russian government and Europe need to look beyond Washington’s propaganda, because the reality is much worst

Quote
The Russian government has finally realized that it has no Western “partners,” and is complaining bitterly about the propagandistic lies and disinformation issued without any evidence whatsoever against the Russian government by Washington, its European vassals, and presstitute media.

Perhaps the Russian government thought that only Iraq, Libya, Syria, China, and Edward Snowden would be subjected to Washington’s lies and demonization.

It was obvious enough that Russia would be next.

The Russian government and Europe need to look beyond Washington’s propaganda, because the reality is much worst.

NATO commander General Breedlove and Senate bill 2277 clearly indicate that Washington is organizing itself and Europe for war against Russia (see my previously posted column).

Europe is reluctant to agree with Washington to put Ukraine in NATO. Europeans understand that if Washington or its stooges in Kiev cause a war with Russia Europe will be the first casualty. Washington finds its vassals’ noncompliance tiresome. Remember Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland’s “fuck the EU.” And that is just what Washington is about to do.

Will Russia persuade China to sell the giant stock of the U.S. treasuries it has in possession? Shocked

Why should China sell them at a loss? Right now the demand for US treasury bonds are at an all-time low. If China unloads a few trillion worth of bonds, there will be simply no buyers to mop them up.

That's the whole point, they're worthless so they're trying to get rid of them, to be honest, might as well just burn them all or something, it would make a pretty powerful statement too.

It seems that both of you are missing something (or it's just me). If I understand correctly, it is an interest rate paid on these bonds that is at all-time lows. If the U.S. refuses to redeem them (provided there are no other buyers in the market at the moment), that would technically mean the USA as a state defaulting on its liabilities. Did the U.S. government take on an obligation to redeem these papers if they are still premature?
The US did not agree to redeem it's debt prior to it maturing, but if the market price for existing debt is at levels of high interest rates then the US will not be able to borrow new money at interest rates that are lower then the levels the existing bonds are trading at.

So it all boils down to financing the debt, that is paying interest to the holders of the U.S. treasuries.

So now Chechen are with Russia? I thought before that they are not really fond of Russian in Chechnya. After all they fought with Russians in two wars for many years...

Chechen Republic is a subject of Russian Federation since its formation in 1917.

He is probably talking about that Taliban-like attempt to get it as an independent Afghanistan-like thing. But those guys lost all support after that hideous attack on an Ossetian school and, if I remember it correctly, they lost a referendum and got smashed like cockroaches by the russian army.

Not all of them fought with Russians even in the first Chechen war. There was a strong pro-Russian group among Chechens right at the start. And I don't mention the second war at the end of which the majority became either neutral or pro-Russian too (well, I tried Wink).

They may just be trying to consolidate the Ukrainian population as much as possible given the context they put themselves in. Do you really think they are suicides?

An attack on Crimea will not consolidate the Ukrainian population. On the other hand, it will deepen the rift between Western Ukrainians and their eastern kinsman. Especially if the Kiev junta forces reserve troops from Kharkov and Dnipropetrovsk to fight in Crimea.

Such an attack would be a suicide for the Ukrainian junta. Georgia has already tried this in practice and got at first miserably bitten and later stigmatized as an aggressor.

Some US soldiers in Latvia and Estonia actually got hypothermia and frostbite in the Spring as they underestimated how much colder it was in the Baltic.  Serious.  There were even news articles about US soldiers complaining about the lack of appropriate gear for the "cold" and this was in 8 celsius temperature!

Mind you the Baltic isn't even cold cold, it's warmer than Russia and Canada and yet the American soldiers were expecting it to be like Southern Germany, Italy or France.  Huh

Wouldn't be surprised if America invaded Russia that droves of soldiers die from the cold, even though Russia is warmer than the Dakotas and Idaho but that's because 90% of the US military comes from Texas, southern California and Georgia where you can wear t-shirts and shorts during Christmas.

NATO Poland base may be prepared for blitz against Russia
http://rt.com/news/175292-nato-poland-supply-base/

Quote
NATO’s Europe commander advocates stockpiling a base in Poland with enough weapons, ammunition and other supplies to support a rapid deployment of thousands of troops against Russia, British media reported.

General Philip Breedlove’s idea would be presented to members of the alliance at the upcoming NATO summit in Wales in September, according to The Times.

The general told a briefing in Naples this week that NATO needed “pre-positioned supplies, pre-positioned capabilities and a basing area ready to rapidly accept follow-on forces.”

It's getting closer to war.

Lavrov advised Kiev and everybody else (hint-hint) to not even think about military attack on Crimea in order to forcibly bring it into Ukraine:
http://rusvesna.su/news/1404986285

Ukraine pulls heavy war machinery to the border with Crimea
They are pulling APC and "Osa" MRLS systems.
http://rusvesna.su/news/1404982658

Ukrainian bandits (not without proper guidance from the US) are doing everything to pull Russia into a war:
http://rusvesna.su/news/1404908787

It may happen that this is a last resort effort coming rather out of desperation in Kiev than following an alleged guidance from Washington, since they didn't succeed in the East, and are now stuck with a whole bunch of impending economical issues and problems (as a conspiracy theory, the powers in Kiev could thus try to surrender to Russia).
