The full supply that will be thrown by the team in the future will create a big dump for a shitty centralized coin with a lot of premined coin for developers. It's a non-sense thing to compare the truly decentralized coin with a centralized coin that fully controlled by the developers.

This is not the case. Ripple is not able to fully outperform Ethereum not only in terms of capitalization, but also in functional features, so Bitcoin cannot definitely win it!

I still out my investments in Bitcoin because he still has the great potential to grow his value and XRP still based his value to Bitcoin. And I still believe that in this two currency Bitcoin still dominate in this fight of the throne because of his many experiences that encountered in the past few years.
If in terms of value, btc will always dominate over xrp. But in the sense of worldwide usage, I think xrp will win on this. They have a great marketing on their project and they already get interviewed on ellen and donated some money so others will be educated about it.

It's a long shot and the gap is very wide and the battle between Ethereum and Ripple is not yet over, Eth can still get the second spot after the hardfork, even if they have a chance to beat Bitcoin I don't want and will not support that Ripple is a centralized project something the whole community is not adopting.

No, no one coin can defeat bitcoin, bitcoin is major of all altcoin, altcoin price is based of bitcoin price if bitcoin down altcoin also will down. Bitcoin raise up, altcoin will raise up too. As I suspect everyone must reject the statement if Altcoin is able to oppose the position of Bitcoin, I agree that XRP coins are good and good because they can rival ETH. In the future anything can happen that Altcoin continues to compete and produce better projects but to defeat Bitcoin it's better to forget it.

I'd say there is a 25% chance that XRP is valued higher than BTC by the end of 2019 and I'd say there is a 80-90% chance its valued higher than BTC by 2021. Proof of work has proven to be insecure (see ETC) and lead to greater centralization. It's now scary how easy and profitable carrying out a 51% attack on POW coins including BTC. Also, the XRP ledger is much more decentralized than either BTC or ETH. Currently Ripple only controls 5% of the validators on the XRP ledger and its getting smaller and smaller. The fact is that the Lightning Network is a mess and can't offer certainty. Without this there is zero chance that BTC fulfills its original use case. On the other hand XRP's ecosystem is expanding rapidly and soon network effects (Metcalfe's Law) will take shape. It's game over from this point. Until now crypto has been based completely on speculation and now it will be utility driven demand which drives the price. XRP is uniquely positioned to solve the $27 TRILLION dollar nostro/vostro problem.

No, there is no chance for Ripple to overtake Bitcoin. Please look again in Coinmarketcap and see the market dominance! Bitcoin dominate the crypto market more than 51 percent, and what about ripple? Every other altcoin together can't overtake bitcoin's domination. Ripple is a very good and widely popular cryptocurrency but it will be not able to defeat BTC.
I do not think that there is any chance in this reality where Ripple will be the number one crypto currency. This coin does not even has a limited supply, what we are talking about, I mean Ripple is something for stock exchanges but not for crypto market.
