It surely is, in the first place it is a currency, a legal currency which is used by most of the people. So i have no doubt that it is being used on illegal activities and I think , most of the currencies are also too. And it is normal, but obviously wrong. The fault is not on the currency but the people who are doing such things. So there's no need to ban a currency because it is being used as what it is.

However, the fact is Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are helping the criminal complete their crime transaction easilier than FIAT.
Other digital currencies are also controlled by the third services.
So, they can't use digital currencies for their transaction, instead, they choose cryptocurrency to keep safe their transaciton and avoid the government tracking their transaction.

Yes. Money and other forms of currency are being used in illegal activites. Power hungry and corrupt human are easily drawn by fast profit in any form. The government can trace it with all their capabilities but for them it is not worth.

Many people are using these money to look for some members of their team and these teams are doing illegal such as hijacking, carnapping and many more. Exactly, any medium that has value can be use in illegal activities, including products that has value, they can be use to bribe anyone. But it's hard to conceal those bulky objects so money and precious metals is the easier one to use.

In my opinion, a person in dire need for money that resorts to doing illegal acts will accept any currency. As long as it will satisfy their need. It is not limited to USD alone.

I agree to that. There is no need to pin point for a currency to be used in illegal activities because if they will be using money to complete their illegal activity then they will find a way to accomplish that. USD,Bitcoin are just two of the most commonly used currency to finish illegal activities.

Yes it is of course. Not only USD but all fiat currency because it is the most accessible asset criminals could use anytime and anywhere in the world. It is also widely used so they find it easy to fund any illegal activities within a specific country where they are operating. Well, governments cannot ban their own creation because if they do that it is some kind of a suicide . Crimes are more likely to happen with the help of fiat money not cryptocurrency because not all kinds of criminals has an access to internet connections so that is why they prefer to use fiat money for funding. That had happened long time ago, in the current time and possibly criminals will still use fiat money for crimes in the future. One example of terrorist funded by fiat money that we all know that it is also the richest terrorist organization funded through dollars based on the news.

Some things are possible to do in illegal activities and when there are more valuable possibilities also occur in legal activities
What I remember is like Pablo Escobar and the answer he uses is used for illegal activities. Tradesaction is all done through cash payments ie USD because all criminals in the world love USD and they do not need to use Bitcoin as a means of payment their transactions

Yes. absolutely, because it is money and we all know that the world is moving through money that is why all people is busy and keep on working just to earn money
