today I experienced an unexpected transaction from one of my wallets, all my assets were sold automatically, this is the first time I've experienced this, I didn't protect this wallet with a PIN and 2fa
can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?
I recommend storing your crypto investments with cold wallets such as Trezor and Ledger, or at least SafePal. And it is desirable to additionally protect with multi-signatures the possibility of transactions

The use of Hardware wallets is better than hot wallets, and both do not require 2FA, it's just that some wallets require a Pin for transactions.
If you are using a wallet on an exchange, all you have to do is protect your account with 2FA, and don't tell others about your PIN, 2FA clone code and recovery phrase

Having double security in our wallets is very important, especially if we use third party applications, we can do double security such as fingerprints and other security such as verification of mobile messages before making transactions, you can also do this because security in the wallet only we can manage and if we are careless while surfing the internet then our data can be stolen or even lost from your device.

2fa and pin both are very important for a wallet even you should hide private key from everyone. This is an internet world where you will not get accurate information from anyone so you have to put your money in the right place and have tight security. The hacker group will always try to deceive you so you have to protect yourself from everything especially the wallets where the security system is strong.

In my opinion 2FA is very safe to use, because many exchanges also apply it, we as users must implement it,
but indeed one of the obstacles is when 2FA on our handphones is lost, it is difficult for us to manage it, this is the problem,

2FA is too effective in providing an assurance of security for most users. I was also having a hard time securing my funds before but when I started using 2fa, I feel more confident in storing my funds in my wallet. It's actually a struggle for more hackers because they can't hack wallets easily when 2fa existed. It may take a little time but you only have to secure your mobile number or email for the verification process.

2FA is an option to make your wallet/account more secure on the other hand makes it more difficult to be hacked. But it is very difficult to say that it protects your wallet/account every time because it fully depends upon you and the conduction in which you are using it. But in my opinion, it is a good habit to use the 2FA system in your confidential login every time.

First of all it’s important to let other people know about the app in which this thing happened to you.
Secondly you should always remember that when you have some good amount of money in any wallet or exchange, then you should always use 2 Factor Authentication.
The work of 2FA is to let you know through an alert or asks you for 2nd time confirmation whenever you try to transact money.
It doesn’t delay the process, rather I would say it’s an extra layer of security which is very appropriate in this crypto industry.
Sorry to hear about your losses.

2fa Secure is being used in every way to keep the account secure because hackers cannot easily hack through it enabling two factor security code 2FA will help increase the security of your account. This code will be used each time for account login withdrawal creation etc and can freely switch to SMS verification mode.

Although using 2fa security may not fully guarantee the security of our assets but at least linking the 2fa security code can keep our wallets from being hacked, because usually when we want to make a withdrawal or a new device is detected trying to enter our exchange account they will asks to enter 2fa code and if the code we enter is wrong then the exchange will suspend us from making withdrawals within 3 days or a week.

All transactions that have entered the system and processed transactions cannot be changed unless there is an error in the blockchain so that the transaction will be canceled automatically, you must be more careful in interacting on the internet so that your device is safe to use. Even if the transaction is 2fa enabled, if your private key is not stolen it is still very safe to do, but if the private key is stolen, it is better for you to replace your wallet with a new one.

If the transaction is in progress, then you can cancel via email, or without confirming the ongoing transaction. 2Fa and PIN are very important in an exchange, if you don't use them, it is very likely that transactions can be made, because there are exchanges that can make transactions without passing an email confirmation. I think you understand this very well, because you have been on this forum for a long time, and of course have used many exchanges to trade.

Understand this right now if you haven’t yet, ignore anyone tell you about complete security in anything it’s false, there is nothing that can offer you that in Crypto-currency. With that said you also have to understand 2FA is a strong security approach than many has tested and trusted to provide a good security enhancement/backing, so if you are looking for ways to add on to you being always security sensitive then 2FA is a good addition for you.

as far as I use 2fa there is no security that can be penetrated by hackers, because the security code will always change every 5 seconds. Every wallet and exchange I use must use 2fa , always recommended by them, I'm sure you should install this, although there are always loopholes, but I never lost while using this.
2FA so far are the safest option and yes it changes all the time but it can also be compromised especially if you fall for a hack attempt asking for that pin. Its good to always use the security option available on that wallet, don’t hesitate to use it because its for your own good and you have the money to protect, better to be safe always.

Nothing can be guaranteed to be 100% secure and uncrackable, but an account activated with pin code, 2FA and authentication from email address, it will be relatively safe for our assets. Hackers can attack our accounts but if we turn on full protection layers, hackers will take a lot of time and then maybe they will have a chance to handle it in time. Cryptocurrency investment faces a lot of risks besides avoiding scam projects We must also keep our accounts away from hackers at all times, so enable all security functions as much as possible good.

I am wondering which wallet you’re making use of, but I can guess that whatever wallet it is that you’re using would be an online wallet or possibly an exchange, which is not fully safe.

As for making use of 2FA, I believe that two factor authentication can really be helpful in securing your account, as it wouldn’t be as easy to penetrate as someone who has only activated just a password for their account; having PIN and 2FA activated would create a double layer of security for your wallet. But I would recommend that you switch to making use of a trusted wallet, and more likely an offline wallet.
In fact, even exchanges are asking to enable 2FA authentication for safety. This is really necessary as you holder, we can't be sorry right because of our negligence, we can't just say that hackers aren't smart. No, anticipating such a thing is a good example that we care much about our money and we dare not to let these people take control of our hard-earned money. And besides, this is not a hard thing to do, we can just do it in a few minutes and be done, however, this gives us higher security for the lifetime.
Some exchanges really made it compulsory, if you don't comply with the 2FA, you can have a notification from your email or confirmation from the transactions you are making. Nowadays, we cannot be too complacent, hackers are so smart that they can even hack even the most popular and secured exchanges, so we have to ensure we had the best security to protect our assets.

well, we don't know whether it can be delayed or not, for sure, the defense of your wallet is stronger than that, and it is possible that your assets cannot be sold automatically because of your PIN and 2fa.
this is a lesson for all of us to continue to use the full security provided by the services we use. as far as I know, hackers will more easily access the assets that we have if there is no PIN and 2fa. So, when you have a chance to activate it, then activate it immediately. it would be great if there was an additional pin from the phone that we have. Always take precautions before things go wrong.

One of your wallets you said, I am guessing you have managed to leak your private key one way or the other, my first question is are you a airdrop fan at one point in time? The second question is what platform are you running your wallet on? Mobile or PC? And the third question is what wallet are you using?. As for your question, 2FA has no power to secure your recovery seed or private key, once they are leaked your 2FA is powerless.

If you are using AUTHY, I could say its a safe one dude. I had been using it for 4 years now and so far so good, I never encounter any problem with this app. Unlike, google authenticator apps after a months using it the code became invalid. Unlike for the AUTHY is not happening the same as google authenticator apps. Believe me this is proven and tested already.

I think once you set the PIN and 2FA, then you will be able to secure your wallet for next transactions.
It is very important to set the PIN, or at least the password on the wallet you use.
Im currently using Trust wallet and secure it with my phone authentication like password and finger lock.
