today I experienced an unexpected transaction from one of my wallets, all my assets were sold automatically, this is the first time I've experienced this, I didn't protect this wallet with a PIN and 2fa
can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?

That is why it is very important to enable 2fa for whatever kind of wallet app we are using. That is our only way of securing our funds so no person should just ignore that 2fa features of all wallet apps. All wallets that I have used, I always ensure the maximum security the app can offer either 2fa, sms verification, email verification and etc. to secure my funds because once the transaction has been done there is no way we can get them back. So there is no way you can recover your money even after enabling your wallet app 2fa. I feel sorry for you mate, hope you've learned your lesson now.

I would say 2FA acts as an additional security layer over your assets but it didn't provide any sort of guarantee because if you have enabled SMS 2FA then it's risky but if you have some TOTP 2FA enabled then it's far better than conventional way as you have different codes at different times. But be sure to have safety at your end also because everything is prone to hacks and loss if you are careless enough for it.

So we should not be too careless using the phishing links that have been circulating now.
Because even though there is strong security, if we are trapped in a phishing link it is useless and we must quickly take action to secure our assets to other wallets.

It will absolutely be safer if you add 2fa, but actually if you have the wallet that's not store your private key, it should be save even without any 2fa / pin. Since I don't know what wallet you are using and how your accident happened, the 2fa, pin or anything won't matters if you recklessly spreading your private information.

2fa is a must. I can't imagine someone using an online platform while dealing with medium to large sums of money without protecting the account with 2fa and email confirmation for transactions. It's just a very simple and easy step, but that makes total difference, without any doubts. I don't even know why passwords still exist, since they aren't enough to avoid hackers accessing your accounts. They don't protect anything and can be easily discovered by the most basic hackers automatic tools. Always make sure you are using every security measures and features the website you are signed in have to offer to customers.

Using 2FA is a good layer of security and protection, but the thing is that the criminals can bypass this one as well. It seems that they are always one step of the game because they were able to get access to you account and unfortunately take all your hard earn coins. So I would say though, it's better than nothing, and you should protect your account with 2FA such as Yubikey.

can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?

First and foremost, which wallet do you use? Since you've mentioned 2FA and it involves a mobile number, that would be a centralized wallet. The thing is if you have set an "easy to remember" password and didn't enable 2FA, it would likely lead to our crypto wallets to get compromised and having our assets drained as the hackers would initiate the unauthorized transaction easily.

In all of my centralized wallets and exchanges aside from the password, I also have 2FA, pin, fingerprint and Google Authenticator as we needed extra layers for protecting ourselves against these unauthorized transactions.
It is really unfortunate that it has come to this, but with scammers and hackers all over the market the truth is that even when you take all the precautions necessary that you may think sometimes you feel as if you have not done enough.

And this is because we know what hackers are capable of, and despite all of those protections they only need to find a weak spot on the system that you use to protect your coins and one day you could wake up to the fact that you lost your coins, this has never happened to me but it is something that can happen if you are not careful enough.

If your 2fa got leaked and it can't delay scammer to take your money from your wallet but if your code was totally safe and it will prevent scammer to take your money from your wallet. You must also know the difference between it. Remember that sometimes if someone can still be hacked even when he was having 2fa as his 2fa already leaked. Security was a very important thing but the most important thing is about how can you secure your wallet in the safe place and no one able to take your data to open your wallet.

Perhaps, we can't deny that it gives protection to our wallets. However, this is not the only way it guarantee a total safety to our account/wallet, it still depends on us. But what really I can say is that the use of 2FA authentication to filter possible unpermitted access to our account makes you feel easy and gives less worry that one day these hackers will crack our keys/password. For I could say that for many years I was using this, I was safe and had no experience of being hacked, and that was because I set my 2FA for my security enhancement.

It's the safest way for you to keep your wallet safe. Im feeling curious about what thing that makes you didn't interested to use 2fa just like others. I do believe if you have friends in the crypto and your friends are also using it. If you are not still interesting to use it and the big question for yourself about are you interested to secure your wallet or not. If that's not safe and bunch of crypto users will not activate their 2fa verification to make sure their accounts are having strong security.
I think that that if this is a common standard in the cryptocurrency.
It's a must whenever there is money involed. For a much secured account having 2FA and OTP should be set up as much as possible to avoid any regrets in the end. It's already risky to have account or different wallets as well we can't guarantee whether our account will be hack or our phone will be lost if ever our wallet or account is login in our phone. As much as possible I recommend to my friends that are entering in crypto to take time to setup their 2fa and use it for safety purposes.

Using 2FA can really be useful to secure your wallet but I think some people and hackers still can managed to bypass the security but I haven't experience anything so far and I make sure that I enable all of the 2FA of my accounts that can be supported by 2FA.

I want to believe you are not new to crypto and wallets and should have known better to use both most importantly or at least one like the 2fa. I have my 2FA on a device I hardly connect to the internet just for extra security. Sorry for what happened but again I don't think those crypto-assets can be recovered.

You can imagine when it's the same like you are adding the big wall for the scammers to be able to take your funds. So, adding the more wall will be very important thing i believe. So many people are even adding more and more layers to their wallet to make sure their wallet will never be hacked by the scammers. I think that you do understand so well about this. People this time even doing anything carefully caused by they have been learning from their past experience or even from others who got the same mistake like that.
Move on and add another wall to your wallet and scammer will not able to touch it again. 2fa is the most important thing for now.

I like that way of setting example, 2fa is a wall, another layer to protect your wallet from any potential hackers. Installing that and

keep it to protect your wallet is very important. The more you understand how it works, the more you will continue to add new layers of

protections, it's something that shows how careful you are with your investment. As long as you kept your phone where the 2fa was installed,

you'll have the additional keys for your protection.

It is very important that the hackers don't have clone access to your phone where your 2FA app has been installed otherwise they can still breach access to your wallet. That is why I highly recommend not to put together your wallet and 2FA authenticator as this will guarantee to put the safety of your funds as these hackers won't have the chance to get the PIN. I have been using this for several years and was proven enough.
Well, you can double security by adding email confirmation (but this gives hassles to us ).

It can be delayed or even failed when you are using 2fa to give more security for your fund. If the scammers unable to put code from your 2fa and your wallet can't be opened and it will be safe. that's why all of exchange sites are also giving notice that activate the 2fa has become a mandatory for all of users. As a personal wallet user and then you should learn what already done by exchange site to make sure the funds owned by the users are safe. You can activate your 2fa soon and you will be seeing your code will be a key to enter into your wallet.
Hacker can't hijack your wallet easily without using the code from your 2fa.

it doesn't make sense, if you look at the incident, because the token input is from the wallet, it's not very clear what wallet is being used, and the txn hash link doesn't exist, it's difficult to study, if it can still be resolved, take immediate action, and if the asset has been sold  other than your token pair, you can secure it immediately, but if it's in your wallet like metamask it won't happen there must be confirmation from metamask first with your password, but if it's in another wallet, at least it depends on you how you take action, if in exchange, it is very important 2FA google authenticator, and verification via email, be smart in protecting your assets.

Well, in the crypto industry, nothing is safe and secure because we have seen lots of hacking examples of decentralized. So, if decentralized accounts can be hacked, centralised accounts can be hacked as well, but if we can use all of our wallets, we may gain some security as well. To get security, we should enable all the security options on the wallet or exchange, like the biggest number of passwords, SMS verification, pin setup, email verification, and the most important 2FA security of Google authoticator. And for this, we should use a backed up Google authoticator so that we won't lose it. And yeah, 2fa adds an extra layer of security to our fund. I hope now you understand. Thank you.
