2FA was a very important thing when you are storing your assets into application. If you are using only paper wallet and this doesn't need but when you are storing your assets online or in app and activating the 2FA was a must for you. You have been learned a very important lesson and you must always aware if 2FA was helping people so much to secure their assets from the hackers. I have been seeing people were activating this important thing after their wallet got hacked. You must not repeat your mistake again. Try to always activate 2FA when it was available.
This is the most important thing in the wallet and it's your money but about the security of wallet.

today I experienced an unexpected transaction from one of my wallets, all my assets were sold automatically, this is the first time I've experienced this, I didn't protect this wallet with a PIN and 2fa
can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?

when the transaction is running and the TXhash already exists, the transaction cannot be canceled. but in the future you have to be more careful, always use a PIN and 2FA. if needed use a phone number for authentication as well. like i did on my binance account, i activated all security without exception. You are too negligent in this, that's why your account/wallet was hacked.

if your assets are already transferred, then there is no way to stop it.
2fa and PIN are the initial security used to avoid account breaches, so they are very important and recommended. although sometimes a bit complicated, but that's okay. nowadays very many hackers can penetrate your account if you don't use 2fa or PIN. by using it, at least you can find out someone is trying to get into your account, and you can take precautions by changing the password. preferably, after this, you need to use 2fa and PIN as the first security for the account you choose. That's why banks are really tightening this up, because it's quite a sensitive issue at the moment, moreover there are so many hackers who are targeting someone's account out there.

It was compromised already. Probably someone either got access on your email and able to do some transactions. If you install 2fa then he cant get to access it however, Im not sure if your funds will be safez since he already got access to it and you dont know what other things malicious he sent off so your account can still be access regardless you put a 2fa.

there is no guarantee that it will be one hundred percent secure, but 2fa is the highest security to protect our data today, 2fa is also almost mandatory to use for all exchanges. For them, the main high security is 2fa, so far it has been proven to reduce the risk of data or asset theft. I have proven it myself, as long as our account access or 2fa access remains safe in one place, I am sure our assets will be safe, so far I have never lost any assets or sold assets myself, because I always install 2fa in my every exchange account.

i am sorry  Cry, but transactions that are already in progress cannot be postponed or stopped.

2fa is very useful for increasing wallet security, so i always use it to add another layer of security to my wallet.
my advice, you should still use 2fa and PIN to avoid this kind of thing happening again in the future.

2FA is a must whenever something related to money is being done. This increase the security of the application involved. Nowadays most of the Exchanges and gambling platforms keeps requesting to add the 2FA to increase the security. I don't get the way by which OP's wallet have been breached. It looks like someone who is close to him or known about his wallets have used it an opportunity and sold his holdings.

Even if this is done by a Known person, there'll be traces. OP has to cross check the transactions and he might get some clue on the same.

Supposedly if you activate 2FA on every transaction or your wallet, something like that shouldn't be able to happen, but if it's a decentralized wallet and can be opened only with a private key then 2fa will be useless because such a wallet can be used in many applications such as Metamask, so what you pay more attention to is the security on the Private Key that you have so that it cannot be stolen from the contents of the wallet that you have.

The importance of 2fa for keeping your account or your wallet safe is immense. If your account is automated by 2FA, hackers will never be able to hack your account.I think for those who work in cryptocurrency, you must use 2FA to save the account. This will keep your account 100% secure.
It is important to not create expectations that are out of place, 2FA is safer than to not use it but hackers are incredibly resourceful and if they have targeted you specifically they can wait until they can break your 2FA and hack you anyway.

The great advantage is that it makes getting to your coins more difficult and it can help you to notice that there is something wrong and tighten your security before you lose your coins, so whenever possible we need to enable it but we must also remember that no system is 100% safe.

Adding 2 fa in your wallet means if you are adding more layer to access your money. Im sorry for your lose but you must have learned a lot from this case if 2fa was a really important thing despite some bad cases about that but mostly 2fa was still useful for the users to keep their money securely from the hackers. I think that even majority of members in here are also using or activating their 2fa to keep their money securely without any risk to be stolen by scammers. This is the most important part when it comes to secure your money.
You must make it available in your wallet to make sure hackers will not able to access your wallet easily without knowing the code from your 2fa

Setting additional 2FA is an additional ways to secure our wallet or data. because if we are using the 2FA, at least, we need to get access to the 2FA at first before succeeding in the transaction.
However, I cannot say that using 2FA is also the safest way because it is not guaranteed. sometimes, the hacker also has a way to trap us and get our 2FA code to access our wallet or platform. So, it means that in the online world, there is no guarantee of 100% safe.
But at least, setting 2FA is better than not, to avoid such bad thing, at elast we are trying to protect our assets better

Even if you activate the 2Fa security now, the transaction which have been carried out on your wallet cannot be un do, the only good news their is that such can't repeat it's self.. 2Fa to me is one of the most advanced way of securing crypto assets in most exchanges, but one things one need to know is that even with the 2fa activated on your account, without carefully being managed, I just discovered off recent that the google 2fa can be clone and duplicated to another device which is a perfect way for someone to clone your app and use the same security u think it's best protected to move your funds out.

Sorry to hear about that, that's why there's 2FA and any other authenticating service to give an additional layer of security for our assets.

can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?
Yes, the culprit will have a hard time withdrawing your funds if there's a 2FA required to access your funds. But what is this wallet that you have? Do you remember those websites where you've logged or file that you recently downloaded?

Using more security is a great way to keep your wallet safe, although it's actually really annoying to have to go through several processes to make or execute a transaction. On my exchange account for example, I use not only PIN but also 2FA to make my crypto assets safe from hackers.

Do use more security like 2FA, PIN etc. 100% safe?

(The answer is not 100%, but it would be better than not using advanced security.)

Can you specify what type of wallet you are using? so we can be aware too, 2fa is indeed important for security, you should use it on the web or any platform that supports the feature. You can not delay transactions that have been made if your assets have been sold, what you can do is secure the income that has been sold.

You should have put a PIN or password for transaction on your wallet even when you are not comfortable using 2fa. That would have saved your assets. This steps are necessary in safeguarding our wallets but alot of us think it is a stress doing all that checks. Nothing is as stressful as what happens when your wallet is hacked and you try to recover it. I hope the hack is not an insider job or you downloaded a virus on your device for the hacker to have gotten access to your wallet.

What wallet do you use because only exchange wallets apply 2fa and PIN for all transactions because if sold and automatic withdrawals you have to check the email registered with the exchange. I think if you own assets then you have to enable security to keep assets hackable.

All of these precautions are good when a code is requested for a withdrawal. And if your wallet is hacked, that is, your keys are compromised, then it's too late to do anything. You should always set protection initially, even if there are no assets. Because in the future they may appear there and you have everything already protected.

We will only realize it’s important the time we needed it and mostly this realizations happens late. When I lose my phone I also don’t have 2fa or even locked in my phone that makes it easier to anyone who got my phone to access it. As much as possible now I put all security my phone can have lock, fingerprint, passwords  and face detection. And when it comes in finance related accounts there is 2fa and stricter password.
our regret will always come lately , and unfortunately why we don't doing this since early to prevent unexpected accident. for every worthed account we must secure it with multiple layer authentification , we could using sms code or google auth. with this additional setting i am believe someone will hard to access our account.
