The purse security should be in the first place, if you are going to work in the crypt.  Do not need to use a lot of wallets.  Better one is proven.
do you have another way, to be safer.

I once read for security wallet,
this is just for discussion how to secure the wallet. I do not think there is a security system and there will be no theft in the wallet.

If you choose your wallet or phone software, you need to be extra careful! Remember that bitcoins are stored inside your device. If your computer or phone breaks down, your bitcoin is gone too! Thieves can also take your bitcoin if it gets access. Consider the following tips to avoid losses:

Perform regular backups regularly
Save the backup on another device like in flash or another computer.
Use the encryption feature
With encryption, each transaction requires a login with a password. This prevents thieves who manage to gain access to your computer.
Do not forget the password
Losing a password equals losing your money! Wallet does not provide a password forgot feature.

Do you guys have a better idea to avoid theft in the wallet?

About the security, no doubt we can simply be additional watchful about the private key stockpiling and that's it. As that is the main Lin between your bitcoin and a steal from getting it stolen. So simply have private keys put away "secretly" that would be sufficient.

If the recipient does not know about the crypto, tell them if they have a system that brings two emails that give a trusted person who knows about the crypto to ask them to take the coin:
- The files are not outside the desktop, but to "somewhere" in the machine, and rename the file to normal files.
- Hide the file into the picture, then save it in the machine one person.
- Write instructions on the sequencing of the paper, given to relatives.

I am still skeptical about Android wallets, everything can be stolen when our smartphone is in handyman service, weaknesses occur when we cannot change our private key !! this is very detrimental to erc-20 asset users, but in this case a complicated wallet security system in the exchange market is still the best choice.

The most important in a wallet is the wallet security in the form of private key , this key will be use to open your wallet whenever you make buy and sell of token and coins , so keep this key always in the safety files, so that it will not be use by others and damage your wallet contents.

Wallet is a very important thing for our coin store, making sure a secure wallet is something that must be done immediately, many stories of regret because they don't care about security so the wallet is hacked.

It's not mandatory if you lost your wallet or it will hack by others you didn't get it back literally because you did not careful to your things even you have security on it. it's your own security and you can do security with your own even you have high powered security on it if you don't have to be careful to your wallet it will be hack again and again.
yes wallet is very important to be used to avoid hackers and other dangers. but we also have to always make sure that our wallet is safe.

But the security of the wallet do not depends on the security of wallets but it depends on the responsibility of the owner or user. Even if the wallet he is using is one of the most secure wallets in the world, if he will not be taking care of it, that will still be useless.

Knowledge and being careful is what you needed, with a lot of hackers and scammers that is so skillful on what they do, if you don't have knowledge on how they do it, you will be stripped off of your BTCs and crypto currencies.

Yes, wallet should be very important for storing the coins because hackers will easily steal the coins. So it is always good if the wallet has very security and we should not share our info with others at any cost in order to be safe.

The safety of the purse is very important. If not properly kept, your assets will be damaged if you lose your password or get caught in a Trojan.

So we must keep our encrypted wallets.

Ofcourse  wallet is very important it gives all the security codes that avoid all hackers or people access your account easily that is provided to secure your money in your account, but you need to remember it all the codes or else you cannot open it.

Nowadays hacker is consistently hacking several wallets. And if you want to stay aware of this hacking attack then you should definitely use the hard wallet or offline wallet, which will help you to stay safe from hacking attack.
Be responsible also on the websites that you are surfing. There are websites that are forcing your computer to download any of their malware content.

And once you have successfully downloaded it, that's the start that you will experience some unusual slowness of your computer so don't just click links especially ads that aren't familiar.

Backup also through writing on a piece of paper is secure, simple and free.

security is an important factor especially for our wallets. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and the wallets we use to store our bitcoins we are responsible for its security. This is one of the major challenges most people face, that is losing their funds to hackers. This is the bad side of cryptocurrency. Wallet security can't be addressed enough. Many people are not tech savvy and bitcoin being a new form of technology, there are bound to be mistakes from people unless a better solution is presented. If not many will still be at the mercy of hackers.

yes of course wallet security is very important, because it can keep you from the hackers who try to steal some coins from your wallet. You must be very careful in handling the wallet to avoid losses. and there should be no one else who knows your private key so that it is not misused.

This is already an old topic and it’s only a dumb person that doesn’t know that they are supposed to secure their wallet properly. And by the way, your Bitcoins are not stored in your phone if you’re using a mobile device, neither does it store in your computer if you’re using a computer.

I don’t know what wallet you’re using cause I haven’t seen anyone that stores it to your device. You should try to back up your wallet and also make use of two factor authentication to secure it.

When you keep something important and worthy in a lock, you need to lock it securely and you do every little step to make things safe and sound [...] It is your responsibility now that this lock never fails or become vulnerable to any security flaw.

The problem is that most people don't know how to secure their own mobile / pc.
How are they supposed to keep a wallet secured knowing that the amount of cybercrime is only going to grow in the future with more and more lucrative goals (crypto on a non-techy users device) ?

The only real viable option is to use a user-friendly hardware wallet which already delivers the highest possible grade of security. This, together with a small portion of common sense, would be the only way to allow average people to use crypto on a daily basis without losing their money.
But this is far away from 'the users responsibility that this lock never fails or becomes vulnerable'. Still a lot of trust into the developer of the hardware wallet would be required (to create a good product AND to get updates out ASAP when vulnerabilities are out).
