It is not easy to convince Mou to stay in Roma, the best way to do that for a coach like Mou is to give him an open check to sign any players of his choice but me and you knows too well that Roma cannot take that step so it is expected that Mourinho will leave unless Roma brings in more quality players for him to increase his team depth.
For me I will love Jose Mou to leave Roma and continue his adventure in another team. I love to seem him in different teams and different countries adding spices to different leagues.

Latest news Mourinho reportedly will stay in Roma the decision was taken after Mourinho and management had a meeting but it is not explained what kind of decision
We can only guess that Mourinho might get what he wants next season like budget for signing new players or other things it seems Mourinho believes that Roma can achieve success next season although they are not competing in the Champions League.

I really hope he stays at AS Roma I like Jose's way of doing and in any case thanks to him AS Roma reached the Europa League final two years in a row, I consider it a good result

All of roma fans are hoping the same thing like you. Even they were unfurled a banner that said if mourinho shall stay in as roma. Mourinho was able making roma to go to the final two times in a row which never been achieved by the previous coaches since a long time ago.
All of tifosi are supporting him to stay even longer in roma. Mou is still having one match remaining. UEFA also agreed with mourinho if the referee on the match between roma vs sevilla were performing so badly.

The referee was deciding without even seeing VAR. I don't even what's the purpose for VAR if the referee was deciding not to use it to keep the match to be fair?

I hope that he will stay here but it seems like that if he will not move from roma this season.

José Mourinho will undoubtedly continue till next season; he has unfinished business with the club, and it is time for him to show the fans why he is regarded as one of the most prominent coaches in the world of football. The Giallorossi have experienced a difficult season in Seria A, failing to qualify for the top four and only securing a place in Europa next season. Their ultimate goal is to win trophies and qualify for the UCL; they have the capacity to do accordingly. José Mourinho is capable of transforming AS Roma into a powerful and tough club; he is well known in the football world for handling elite clubs and winning big trophies, and AS Roma is no exception.

The management of AS Roma must persuade and give guarantees to Mourinho so that he can stay, he has worked very optimally to raise the club's reputation at European level. In my opinion, if The Special One survives then the team management should have the courage to invest to improve the quality of the game. I am sure that if the management dares to do that then Roma will definitely be able to compete in Serie A and European competition.

Give all before death
If Mourinho is happy in Roma he can stay, but I'm sure there will be a lot of teams that want to see him at the end of this season. The first ones that come to my mind are PSG, Chelsea. I think both of these teams are thinking of changing coaches. One of the biggest candidates for these teams would be Mourinho. Of course, Arab teams that have been making incredible money lately may also want to bring Mourinho. They are currently trying to make the Saudi league the focus of football in the world.
Chelsea has already secured the service of Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine has signed a two-year contract. It seems after the outburst during and after Roma's loss to Sevilla in the Europa finals, PSG seems to have removed Mourinho from their radar. They have narrowed the target to Julian Nagelsmann, Antonio Conte, and Zinedine Zidane. But the news from most sports outlets is that Nagelsmann is the leading candidate with Thierry Henry as a potential assistant.

It is disappointing that Roma failed to qualify for the Champions League because I perceive that was Mourinho's target. The loss motivated him to think of moving to another club. Roma fans see him as a hero and he is well respected there. Saudi Arabian league will offer more money but it will affect his coaching career because the league is not competitive and low rated. Mourinho has to choose between remaining in Roma for at least a season to see if he can win more trophies and promote his coaching career. Or to move to the SPL, make money, and harm his coaching career.

If Mourinho is happy in Roma he can stay, but I'm sure there will be a lot of teams that want to see him at the end of this season.
The choice of a permanent future coach has led to the team playing high-level football; the Portuguese bought the players on his radar, eventually transforming AS Roma's lackluster performance into one of elite caliber. Mourinho deserved some recognition because managing a team and winning big trophies every season is not an easy task. They're the first ever club to win the European Conference League, an astounding milestone for the club. José Mourinho's presence means a lot to AS Roma; the club has made big offers and extended Mourinho's contract.

I don't really agree
the special one hasn't done much, always .. he's only good at saying he's good and getting an exaggerated salary
I don't like him at all as a coach, there is better on the market at a lower price

I think Mourinho is going to be very likely to leave the team now. He seems ready for an offer from PSG already as it has been on the news for a long time. PSG must have been thinking of replacing Galtier after this poor season already and Mourinho is surely among the best candidates for the job. Mourinho's style is a little more different from the managers they have had so far though. But I think Mourinho would also feel the need of adapting to the environment a little.

In the end we shouldn't see Mourinho parking the bus easily with a squad like this one in hand.  Grin  No matter Roma won the Europa League title or not I was going to expect him to leave. Because taking the helm at PSG must be much more attracting to him instead of staying with Roma. He can do the things in his mind easier there.
I really like Mourinho and I think he is a very great coach.
at this time this news is still a rumor and there is no certainty, if it is true then AS Roma is a team that is very unfortunate if coach Jose Mourinho stays because since Mourinho's arrival to Rome very many changes have occurred in this team.
the AS Roma team is in the process of getting much better, in the last 2 seasons their performance has increased and if Mourinho trains Roma a little longer I think they will be able to do a lot better.
I really hope Mourinho stays in Rome.

If it wasn't only about happiness a lot of people would do a lot of different things! Cheesy

But jokes aside, in this business it is all focused on money and Mourinho isn't known for disliking money. I think he is currently making a few plans for his career and considers managing one or two bigger clubs like PSG as the rumor says these days . But even afterwards I am not sure if he would still be willing to take on another club like that or whether he is also taking the route to gild his career and accept a contract in Saudi Arabia for a few hundred million. I am sure that he is one of those characters the SPL would like to see go there.

Roma will be very happy if Mourinho stays with them but to convince Mourinho, they must give him bigger budget for transfer. $7M is what they spent in the last summer transfer and Mourinho was not happy with it.

You can strike out those clubs. Chelsea already appointed Pochettino as their new coach. PSG sacked Galtier and in their conversation to sign with Nagelsman. If PSG actually sign with Nageslman, Mourinho will not have many options to choose, if he does not want to move to Saudi Arabia. A biggest club he can join is Real Madrid as their future with Carlo Ancelotti is unknown and Perez always opens his arms to welcome Mourinho back to Bernabeu.

I believe Mourinho still wants to enjoy matches in Europe than in Saudi Arabia. He can join that league in future but not now and he want to win one more Champions League or one more Europa League in Europe.

I have a bold prediction that Napoli next season won't even be in Top 4. I expect them to lose a lot of points in begining of the season. Everyone will play with more fire against them since they are champions and with possible departures of key players I see that happening.
I'm not a fan of Napoli as I read that their coach manager resigned and also some of their players were sold to other clubs and out of contract, but I can't predict the future because we don't know in the future Napoli will buy other great players or not. next season, juventus, their competitor, was hampered because of a case that made them play inconsistently so that they fell to 7th place.

I am also sure that the completion of the case facing Juventus will make them pay for their failures this season so that next season they may also have new players to make Juventus rise from adversity.

Because Napoli have been able to consistently compete in the top four in previous seasons, so next season I personally will remain confident that Napoli will still be a team competing in the top four. Although indeed, it seems certain that in the next season Napoli will have a new coach and also, with key players who will leave the club, but I believe this will not make Napoli so weak that it cannot compete in the top four.
In football, it often happens that certain good players wouldn't stay with one club for so long without being sold or loaned to other teams. The goal of selling out the top players on a team is to increase revenue for the club while also buying fewer replacement players.
I think Napoli will know the best course of action at the start of the next season given the situation it has found itself in, which includes losing its coach and selling its star players. If they don't have any plans to replace them or already have other top players on the squad, they can't just sell their star players like that.
We can't begin to make predictions regarding Napoli's chances of reaching the top table until we have seen how they play in a few of their games by the next season.

Napoli next season

- No spalletti
- No minjae
- No osimhen (possible)
- No kvarat (possible)

To be honest losing spallettig has been changing the team a lot started from strategy, line up, etc. losing minjae was also changing the defensive line in the club as min jae has become one of great players in napoli.
He has been deciding move to the EPL and so, that makes sense if napoli will not have same performance again next season like this time.
There will be so many things change in napoli for next season. Im sure that if it will not be dominating the match again.

I think Napoli chances of being in top4 next season lies in their hands because before winning the league this season they have been competing in the champions league and they have also been very strong in their local league despite not being able to win it but right now things will definitely change if they decide to sell most of the stars in in the team that gave them the trophy, will they be able to replace them with better players now thwt they will be under a new coach?  Same thing happened in the English Premier League with the Leicester City team after winning the league they sold some players but they were not able to get better replacement and now they have been relegated but I hope Napoli don't become too weak after accepting big money from the sells of the stars in the team because obviously they are going to have crazy offers from clubs and they will likely sell at least three major players to get big money.

He has to solidify his decision from now because of course even if the hope of joining a big club in another domestic competition is also enough to make his name rise but the worst possibility of declining performance must be considered.
Some players have to be an example, like Pogba or maybe Lukaku, who had a little trouble and lost his fame when he was at a new club, so in this case he really had to find the best way for his future.
The two examples you gave are absolutely right, but not all the best players are like that. So I won't equate Osimhen with the two players you mentioned as examples, because there are also players who when they go to other big clubs become more famous with their good performances that never decrease or disappear. So don't just look at the bad examples, but try to see some good examples from other players so you can be a more accurate comparison for this.

That's correct honestly, they are selling pivotal players and also important once, so expecting same performance next season, I don't really think so. I still can't figure out who wins the Seria A next season but Napoli, might not get it again even in the next ten years. They also have the coach leaving the club but not yet widely announced.

I have also read of the issues with Ac Milan owners and them sporting directors, Paulo Maldini and sole other sporting directors who will be leaving all because they do not have the same vision for the club.

Honestly who will leave Napoli is still a huge question mark. Osimhen and Kim Minjae is looked as almost guaranteed because teams will pay huge fees for those two, and Napoli just can't reject them. But aside from that I am not sure who else would be sold at all.

I think it's wise to capitalize from their title run and just sell everyone they could for a lot of money, and when they have a lot of money they could spend like half of it on players they could replace the ones that are gone, and the other half would be a great money for building new facilities, that would mean not only they will be good again, but they will also guarantee the future as well with all the state of the art youth and training and so forth facilities.
That's what will happen in Napoli most likely. They will sell as much player as they can if they will get a nice reward from doing it, otherwise they will keep them. Osimhen will move from Napoli in my opinion and he will join EPL or maybe La Liga since Real Madrid might be interested. I didn't hear news about that yet but things will be more clear in the near future.

I know where you're coming from from and I understand it. After the season inter Milan won the league, they were not that good anymore, same with AC Milan the season after the won the league so it won't be a big surprise if same thing happens to Napoli.
Despite all these, a part of believe Napoli won't be like that next season. They might learn from the others and make amends.
Osimhen looks like the only player that is on his way out and even him is not certain. The rest like Kwara are not going anywhere and they also have more money now to make more signings. They might not be the best next season, but they be in the top four.

Last season, Napoli sold a lot of their mainstay players. and leaving only Osimhen and a few other greats. And now Napoli looks like they could lose Osimhen too. But actually Napoli wants to keep Osimhen this season. Even Napoli raise Osimhen's rates if any other club wants to take him i.e. another club will have to pay around 150 million euros. Even Bayern have given up on getting this talented young striker because of the transfer fee issue which is considered too expensive. but now Manchester United is another club also interested in bringing Osimhen to his club. But there is still no certainty regarding this matter.

But to be honest I feel Napoli will really struggle to even compete in the top 4 next season without Osimhen. Because as we have noticed in the past few seasons. i.e. whenever Osimhen is out due to injury we can see there is a big drop in Napoli's performance on the pitch. especially in their offensive line. But it may be true that Napoli really need bigger funds to be able to bring in more talented players. but still I feel that Napoli's achievements this season will be difficult to get back in the season to come.
