Yeah, after Napoli got 2 bad results in the last fight, we can say there are no safe teams at the top of the standings because only 1-2 points adrift even Juventus who are in the 6th position can take over the standings at any time they only need to win one match to get 3 points. This season looks more competitive since the last few seasons we see the dominance of 2 teams in Serie A and this is a positive trend for the league. On the other hand Atalanta and Fiorentina caught our attention after a successive wins in the last 5 matches.

Currently there are 6 teams at the top of the standings which are only 2 points apart so that it is possible to exchange places from the results of just 1 match and that proves that the competition in Serie A this season is much fiercer.
However, this season's journey is still very long and anything is still possible, for now we cannot see which team is able to maintain its consistency until the end of the season even though now there are several teams competing fiercely at the top.

If you look at it, there are several teams that are starting to develop better than last season, especially Napoli after they made many changes, but I think whatever it is, the most important thing now is the competition that occurs in the fight for the Scudetto, it is more interesting and makes Serie A more competitive.

The rank table will continue to be crowded and closely on top range but sooner or later these top clubs will make their break outs or fall below other competitors. Fiorentina looks to have less experience than Napoli and Atalanta so I don't see their chance to compete for Scudetto. Perhaps Napoli, Atalanta will participate in Scudetto fight with some traditional big successful clubs like Inter Milan and Juventus.

This is how the league is supposed to stay competitive not like the other seasons where you have the potential winning team actually run off with the league title right from when the league starts off and it is no longer entertaining again, except for other qualification spots. I can still remember when Napoli won the league and the other clubs weren’t even challenging the competition to me then and it was boring.

Although it’s just 12 games in but everyone actually gets hope close enough that they can do it and this is the perfect period were the competition is tight so personally I like the table and would love it to be tight like that until the end,

Ranieri is actually the better option of the numerous options on the market, winning the league with Leicester City was his biggest achievement, in a team with crisis like this the players deserve this profile of a coach so that they can stay grounded. Ranieri achievement in Roma will be heavily dependent on the club board and how they support him because it is their fall out with other managers that lead to the sack and the current situation at the club

If you look at the team standings in the Seria A table, the first three teams are Napoli, Atalanta, and Fiorentina, then followed by the defending champions Inter Milan, this is to show you how tough the League is this season. Juventus and Milan sit in the 6th and 7th position for now after 12 games, I don't think they can make it to the top again this season unless if these teams at the top lose focus maybe due to injury or fatigue because small teams sometimes do fail along the line due to lack of proper experience.

Milan finished 19 points behind Inter, and Juventus 23, you can't make one a challenger without the other, not on that difference, by round 20 it was actually Juventus who was in second place and only 2 points behind Inter while Milan was fully 9 points behind!
