I think the match against fiorentina was a compulsory win by Ac Milan, it gave them a edge in their league table. Looking at the top 4 table, we all know the race for the top 4 is over, as AC Milan, Intermilan, Napoli and Juventus are the four teams leading the race. On the other hand the race for the league title lies on the shoulder of this two teams AC Milan and Intermilan. Ac Milan is only two points ahead of inter, so to achieve their long time goal, they really need to be consistent in their remaining matches, cause a little mistake from them might hand inter the trophy.

Instead of saying the competition is tight, I'm more excited for the top 4 teams there now because when they benefit, they are definitely not consistent.

Even though it is due to the coppa italia final, i think it is unfair on AC Milan for Inter Milan to have such early kick off in such a close title race, still it is what it is. Inter Milan should have a comprehensive victory over Empoli, while AC Milan have to battle it out against Verona who are midtable. I predict a victory for AC Milan as well and tipping the Rossoneri a league win too.

The top 4 in the serie a has been sealed after AS Roma draw; so their fixtures now have less impacts on the league standings

The match was indeed tough for Milan. Because, Fiorentina isn't a weak team, which Milan can win easily. But, Milan bounced back in the second half, and Leao scored a goal towards to the end of the match. Although, Fiorentina lost the game, but it obvious that their performance was great.

However, Milan are still maintaining their stand on the standings, and are more closer in winning the Scudetto. At this point, they just need to focus on their remaining games.

AC Milan have reclaimed top stop, and honestly i feel sorry for Inter, i actually want them to win back to back titles, but AC Milan are in the driving seat and if they keep their heads and their concentration up, they should see this one through to the very end; as for Inter all they can do is keep winning and hope for a slip up, that is the sort of upredictable season we are having and i am pretty sure we are all loving it, especially the neutrals.

Fiorentina's match against AC Milan was really very exciting, AC Milan managed to win 1 goal and it was very important for them to keep securing the top of the standings, now 3 games remaining this season to determine who will win the Scudetto this season. it will be very interesting for AC Milan and also Inter Milan to maintain their consistency.

The thing is that Milan had a lot of chances to go further ahead in the match but they could not convert any of them into goals. I thought they should have scored a lot of those which they have missed.
