It is not a problem to sell a lot of players to get a few better, that is actually quite good approach and I like that. But the reality is that they haven't done a great deal for a long time. People still see Roma as the place that would require a lot more money to go to, and a lot less money to get out from. Many players were sold under their real value, and if you look at transfermarkt you will realize that they left a ton of money on the table.

This is why I believe that the best thing to do would be making sure that they are doing a whole lot better and not just now, because if they do not get any good results, they won't actually be doing that much better financially neither.

Mourinho can't keep forcing Tammy Abraham and Dybala to keep playing in all the games that Roma have played, injuries can happen at any time due to fatigue, I think the coach has to take that risk into account. Searching for the ideal substitute could give Tammy Abraham and Dybala fitness, in a game in Roma favour, Mourinho could play a substitute in the second half. Roma mission with Mourinho this season is clear, after having success in the conference cup last season, now Roma want to repeat success in other competitions.

José Mourinho is the coach of Roma. Obviously, he’s going to know better about the team. But I think it was important for him to bring in a few more players in this transfer market. And another thing is Paula Dybala did not play very well in the last season and for a big part of the last season he was injured. So it is not guaranteed that he will play far better this season.
