This is why even though the ranking shows them second, it was obvious that from leading the league to be 12 points away from the leader was a bad situation for them. They are not even leading right now, if they can keep this up and do well then I would say kudos to them however if they start to lose like they did last year then it is going to be a problem for them this season.

Nevertheless, Milan repeated its best start in history, scoring 19 points in 7 matches. The last time this happened was in the 2003-2004 season and then Milan became the champion. And if not for an even more impressive start by Napoli, Milan would undoubtedly be the leader now. Despite the leadership of Napoli and Milan at the moment, it is still not worth making far-reaching conclusions and trying to extrapolate this situation for the whole season. Neither Milan nor, especially, Napoli have had a successful experience of holding the leadership in the championship lately, a vivid example of which is last season, when Milan lost the championship to its eternal rivals in the city Inter, led by Conte.

I appreciated Milan's high effort against Atalanta last night. Honestly, it was going to be a very hard game for Milan as it is really tough to beat a team like Atalanta in an away game. As Atalanta were doing good in the recent times too, a highly competitive game was waiting for Milan. But Milan must have surprised everyone as they brought the score to 3-0. Atalanta fought for turning things around but they couldn't do better than scoring 2 goals in the last moments. And Milan got another win by 3-2 this time. They are following Napoli right behind by two points.

Yeah, Milan did well to get ahead in the game with those 3 goals. They completely caught Atalanta off-guard and used it to their advantage. By the time Atalanta could come back to fight back, it was already too late and time had gone. Milan is doing well at the moment but I'm afraid that they would start messing up sooner or later and that would hurt their seria A title chances .

I don't see that problem with Milan, their only problem is Napoli, yes Napoli are playing very well even perfect they finished all the matches with a win
Unfortunately in the Europa League they were unlucky haven't won yet, if Napoli fail in the Europa League they should be able to focus more on getting the Serie A title and recorded a perfect win.

Milan made first two goals out of nothing. first goal was a mistake from defenders and goalkeeper and second - awful mistake from defender. 3rd was the result of fast counterattack when Atalanta was trying to save the match. so the main problem for Atalanta remains weak defense.

I know Atlanta's defense is bad, yet they have fought hard against Ac Milan to win the match. Ac Milan's players are experienced. So they have been able to get 3 points from the match. However, Atlanta's players managed to score against AC Milan's strong defense. Before this match, AC Milan conceded just 3 goals in that match.

I think Milan will win this match easily, because if we look at the match statistics so far Milan has been quite consistent even with three consecutive wins in Serie A, besides that Milan will play at home and this will indirectly benefit them in terms of mentality and support.
On the other hand, Verona's current performance is still less than satisfactory.

A very dramatic result maybe if there was only 10 minutes left Atalanta could pay for it but this is consistent Ac Milan have been good and they were able to defend and also 3 goals earlier than Atalanta.
Well hopefully there is hope for Ac Milan in the UCL and can qualify for the next.
With opponents Verona Milan will ensure that his squad remains consistent to win.

Indeed Milan's first 2 goals came from defense mistakes but that doesn't mean that Milan didn't play well. Besides mistakes are in the game and most of the goals are coming from mistakes. Milan takes the 3 points but shows some signs of an uninterested team, when they think that the scoreline can cover them. It was like they drop the game and gave the opportunity to Atalanta to almost make an incredible comeback.
The thing is that for another season Atalanta (which I really like as a team) lacks quality defenders and defensive cohesion. IMO Gasperini must give more emphasis on defense and try to buy some players.

Juventus didn't win a single game in their first 4 games and now they are in a 3 in a row winning streak. I hope that this means they are back on track and will keep on winning for a while, even if not back to back like this, having mostly wins means a lot for them.

However I am not sure if Inter would give up their power neither, yes inter is not leading right now and Napoli does but for some reason I have the feeling that Napoli will end up losing and Inter will be at the top, the point difference between Inter and Juventus is just 6 points so I assume it is nothing that can't be covered, it could easily be covered and then some, but I do not know if Juventus has that power anymore.

Many Milan squad right now less experience playing on UEFA champion league just Giroud and Ibrahimovic only have playing more in champion league, but I am very confused why Milan can stable and take win every match on Serie A but always failed to get one point on Champion league, next match if keep failed just say good by for next round and Europe League as best option there.
