Hi, you're right to invest in coins backed with solid project and product, however at this point 70% of the investors who buy coins doesn't even look on the projects, just the charts and the price/profit.
I think later on the market will stabilize and the solid projects will be more valuable.

Diversify your investment among multiple altcoins if you want lower risk. Invest in different altcoins instead of putting them all into one altcoin, and in the long run, you should be fine. Keep in mind that you should still have a spare portion of BTC at all times.I think it isn't the completely best time to invest your money in the altcoins because the price of the bitcoin is still high So here my suggestion is to buy bitcoin in small small installments and invest in installments also for altcoins . And don't invest all.of your money in single altcoin .
But after the completion of the fork , try to make buy btc in bulk and then invest in multiple coins , because after hard fork there is no reason to stop himself from any type of investment .

Actually the only signal that we need to know in order to figure out whether it is good or bad to buy altcoins is to simply know if the value of the altcoins have increased or decreased. We must also know whether the altcoin we wish to buy is profitable or not. That is all that we need to understand for us to be able to gamble in buying the altcoins we desire.
