Volume and price are both starting to pick up momentum [even on Cryptsy].

We should get an inflection point soon which will lead to a huge breakout.  At this rate I'd say in 3-5 days.

High Volume precedes price increase.  All experienced investors know this so we should be seeing lots of new investors coming in on a near daily basis.

I was able to bring in a couple dozen people last year [to an otherwise dead and empty community] but I'm not sure how many stuck around.  I expected all this stuff to happen in 2013 but now I see the mining had to be finished first and also, the infrastructure wasn't in place yet; which is why my timing was off by an entire year.

Hopefully now things will be moving in fast forward .

30,000 IXC is a big deal - especially considering the salaries in Eastern Europe.  Congratulations, I'm really glad you held on.

Not many people hold over 100,000 IXC.  The reason is that IXC was thought to be dead or dying the entire time it was being mined.  And the difficulty went sky high within 6 months after launch due to merge mining which means we should have a few hundred thousand IXC holders out there.

I'm glad I was able to convince you to buy - hold for longer term.  That's my plan.

what promoted me to but it? maybe the consipiracy theory 
so basically you promoted me to buy it, if it comes to be true then i make good money, if its wrong i loose a little money which is fair enough for me.

Actually we don't have one but rest assured - nearly 4 years of massive difficulty means IXC is the best distributed coin on earth.  Much better than even Bitcoin which had super easy mining for 2 years.

I'm curious - what promoted you to buy IXC now?

And volume has went to CEX massively, probably due to the Cryptsy temporary shutdown they've had today.

The massive volume on CEX is gonna bring in big investors.

Because until now IXC lacked the volume for whales to effectively trade IXC.

It hit yesterday 15000 sats. Back to 10000 range.

I wonder if it will reach the 1M IXC volume today. It seems possible to me.

lol...it's safe to assume that confirmation bias has reached peak output in my mind.  lol.

That said, CEX.io is one of the most powerful players in CryptoWorld.  It's hard to imagine they'd be wasting so much time on IXC for absolutely no reason.

CEX.io isn't even wasting time on Bitcoin let alone an alt-coin so what's my desperate mind supposed to assume?

Thanks Jotaceo - got me looking @ the CEX.io 24hr volume, right now @ 227+ THOUSAND coins!  That is over 1% of all the coins ever mined. GADS!

@ahmed_ - Good to hear, keep us posted on your progress with testing, final build releases and repository reorganization.  See where you've brought in the main Bitcoin staging tree.  Relying on your expertise to best setup the IXCoin  repository, so that those changes can be done as quickly as possible.  Been looking at all the code changes as Bitcoin prepares to go release candidate #1, and thinking holy crap that will be allot of changes to keep our coin current with the latest version over there.  The important thing for us right now is getting a complete, stable and fully functioning and tested 0.9.3 Ixcoin build out, so everyone can upgrade to it and we can move forward from that level.  After it's proven itself, or even if we have one or more 0.9.3.x releases to make minor changes, it stands to shine as the defacto upgrade for nearly all of the altcoin community.

We don't have all the problems bitcoin is having right now that require it to take blockchain size reduction steps & transaction processing to the next level for volume handling, but when I see things in the code like Gavin working on a sliding transaction fee schedule, that allows users to pay more for faster transactions, it kinda gets me excited to work on an upgraded for Ixcoin after we've completed the work on a 0.9.3 release.  It potentially could go along way towards addressing & solving the issues we've been discussing here on transaction fees costs.

I agree with Vlad on Zebedeee ---  lets let it lie.....  He was probably trying to scare people to dump some coins to make a few buys at a decent price and he may have ties and good connections to others. (No proof but it seems logical)

I'm not sure I'd mess with Zebedee.  He can't hurt IXC but if he is who I think he is then he's actually a real asset to this community and he was just trying to buy some cheap IxCoin by scaring newbies out of their coins.

And who can fault a man for being shrewd.  haha.

But I would like to see him chime in now that he has been proved wrong.  I'd like to hear what he has to say...[before you review his trust rating].  lol

One more note:

And of course I still talk to Brock Pierce nearly every week.  Amazingly, he hasn't told me to F-off yet so that's a really good sign.  haha.

He seems genuinely intrigued by iXCoin but I can't tell if he's not quite convinced by my spiel or he's a shrewd businessman and is playing games with me.  lol.

Either way - I'll keep trying - we need one more big partner [other than CEX.io] - given Jeffrey Smith seems to be taking his sweet time helping us out.
