Here Vlad.  Go to GoDaddy if you want to auction some Domain names.  Their limits go way higher than $5000 as well.

https://auctions.godaddy.com/

I know they offer that but there's ZERO exposure.  Their auction is really just a for sale sign which nobody sees unless they specifically look for and want your domain.

That said, I'd get more exposure on Craigslist where nobody is even shopping for domains.  eBay was the best bet but they're small minded idiots acting like a monopoly.  I can't wait to see any coins take a huge bite out of their ego.

Hey Vlad, just wondering what are your plans on short term?

Plans or expectations?

I'm not sure what you're asking.

My short term plans are to raise some funds to help develop IXC as well as accumulate some other coins including BTC in preparation for the next run which should come in the next 3 months and go to $2,000-$3,000.

Well i've been reading a lot and i've only seen you and markm talk for a while, kinda thought you both had great plans with the coins haha.
But I see other guys are active aswell now, that's all i need to know.

If there's anyway i can contribute to this coin then let me know!

We're very short on funds for bounties but not everyone can afford to pitch in.  So far only a few of us have given some iXcoins for development.

So anyone who can afford it, it would be much appreciated.

That said, we do need some kind of treasurer for accountability purposes.

Other than funds, what skills or talents do you have.  We always need coders or designers but if not then like me and dexter, you can help with marketing by getting the word out.

Just do what feels right to you.  As a group, if everyone does a little bit, it can really add up.  For the first 6 months I was all alone in this coin being called crazy and insane by everyone.

AAAHHHHH, the good ol' days.  Ha!

Dear folks,
The game is on again.

You are not gonna believe this:

http://www.coindesk.com/ebay-uk-virtual-currency-february/

eBay is launching a dedicated Virtual Currency category on eBay Classifieds in the UK on 10th February

eBay and Amazon are just 2 of the many super catalysts coming in the next few months.  That's why my short term price target for BTC is $2,000-$3,000 and we should see $5,000 to $10,000 by year's end.

Even if iXcoin does nothing, due to its positive correlation to bitcoin, it should reach my $10 target just from the Bitcoin effect.

But I'd be a lot more pleased if iXcoin goes up on its own merit.

Well i've been reading a lot and i've only seen you and markm talk for a while, kinda thought you both had great plans with the coins haha.

My over-arching project is the Galactic Milieu. The so called planet known as Earth is just one planet within that metagame and the eight merged mined coins are just a few of the currencies. I also run the Digitalis Open Transactions server, you can see tables and charts related to that at http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/digitalisassets.html

To me all eight merged mined coins (BTC, NMC, DVC, GRP, IXC, I0C, CLC, XGG) are important because all of them are game currencies that have the useful and interesting feature of being independent of any one game or server, so the players can take them home with them, take them into other games with them, trade them outside of any game or inside any game and all that good stuff.

BTC, NMC, DVC and now IXC all seem to be in hand at the moment so I am more focussed on the ones that are still lagging somewhat in terms of code, hashrate, services and so on.

However I am trying to do liquidity-providing on Vircurex for DVC, IXC and I0C and hoping they will soon add GRP so I can provide liquidity there for that too.

I would like to see CLC and XGG have a much higher hash rate before suggesting Vircurex also add those in order to have the entire family of merged mined coins all on one reputable exchange. (That is, an exchange that isn't flooded with scam of the day coins, scrypt clones that have less than half the hash rate of litecoin and other such garbage.)

Well obviously this is my first concern, compounded by the fact of these horrors stories and I have this 10+ year old aged account in perfect standing. I imagine that I will either A)Sell something trivial that can be sent on a post card with a added gift of 100IXC B) create a new account just for this. This just gave me the idea to print out IXC stickers as a selling work around. Ill keep my eye on the logo design thread and/or just use the existing one if I can scrap up the funds.

I've sold Steam games on eBay... none issue.

How about selling CEX.IO redeeamble codes?

You can say that you are selling GHs.

Speaking of cool domains what do you guys think about these 2 domains?

ExcaliburCoin.com

and...

CamelotCoin.com

I know they're not Tesla-like names but do you guys think these 2 domains would be sought after if the crypto mania gets any crazier?

I'm trying to decide which domains I should let go of now and which ones I should hold off on and maybe get a lot more later on or perhaps reserve for myself to launch my own coin when I have money to do it right.

Thanks for your input.

The "press release" has started with:

1. wikipedia: the head of the project is iampingu.
2. Press release attempt n.1: the head of the task is nfigueir

Thank you both.

Now in view of the tenth of february, I am asking the name of at least 4 people ready to sell iXcoin on eBay UK. The main goal is not to sell iXcoin, but give it visibility.

I insist on this because I knew about iXcoin on eBay, not by means of this forum. The first purchase of cryptocoin I made was on eBay because I had no idea what a wallet was.
You have two weeks to get organised to sell on UK eBay.

Until I will not collect at least 4 names I will not communicate the next task.

Thankx

PS I ask Frictiocoinless to evaluate the possibility to establish a bounty for people accepting the task.

Thank you again

Oh... okay... we got 100 IXC to sell... who wants to sell on eBay?
I writing on the run, so neglecting some comments and responses and quickly posting. I can start doing this. This is a simple yet great idea for increased exposure and impressions for this crypto. I like it....

I'll sell on ebay.uk with paypal.. no problem. I won't sell on ebay.com since I already got some actions removed due to their policy with virtual currencies. However, I do have an alternative to still sell on ebay.com. I'll PM you for you to approve the method.

We need all the contribution we can find?

Well for starters... please head over to the IXC boards.... ixc.boards.net  and make comments about the press release.

next... well what are your skills?

Do you have a good sounding voice?  You can make a video or two about ixcoin... use powtoons.... dexter has a whole bunch of them to serve as ideas.

Do you have a keen sense of style?  You can head over to PictoCharts and create an infographic that highlights iXcoin strengths.

Do you have a lot of persistence?  You can ping media outlets like coindesk and have them write something up on iXcoin.

Are you a developer?  We need plenty of them.

Anyway,  this is like running a start up.   Equity is simple... you buy iXcoin... that's your equity.

In general we are building a platform,  we all have realized that by starting off with a coin that already has secured its massive hash rate that we can build a coin that will be extremely competitive with what is out there.

Ok, I'll do it.
Question: have you not already an agreement with coindesk about an article on IXC?

As good start: is there anyone available to put updated info about iXcoin on Wikipedia?
A volunteer please. Not even on Wikipedia after almost 3 years: what a shame. Let's make this shame end.
Who is the brave one?

When this task is assigned to someone, I will let You know the next one. Waiting.....

Thankx

On it.

Not really sure what to add, other than the ixcoin.co's information, any ideas?

Add me.

Bhahahahaaaa.

lol.

Good idea....... Cheesy. I submitted something to the wikipedia people, waiting for confirmation now

But yeah, speaking earlier about banned from listing digtal goods, is because my paypal is frozen because of bitcoin sales, was a rookie salesman selling bitcoins via paypal, they asked what I was selling and it's against their terms of service to sell digital currencies. So ebay is owned by paypal, or vice versa, and I got banned from digital goods on both.

I though to have a go at a logo for the TeslaCoin...

I just realized that I used red just like the tesla logo but I did it unkowingly.

That's a cool design but you're using tesla's logo which won't fly.  So far all my tesla stuff is either mine or public domain so I'm good to go.

Yes, I designed it like that since your original plan was to present it directly to them. So I assumed if that was going to go forward they would prefer their logo on the coin.

But actually the more interesting part are the two coloured triangles that try to represent a currency symbol but also some "trigger" to the coloured currency theme.

Man, interesting point...I didn't even think about that.  Maybe I'll resubmit it to Elon via teeter.

I don't even know if the guy reads his tweeter posts.  He probably has some assistant do all that.  Not sure how to best get this Auction to him.
