I don't know what he will bring, but keep pushing.  Bitcoin market is heating up again.

Exactly.  How many coins can attract guys like the Caliber of Terpin?  And I don't mean paid advertisement and promotion work.  I mean to join a coin cause he sees something different or unique.

So we'll see what happens.

And no worries, I attracted Mr. Terpin with no leverage., no ammunition.  Now I have something  real to work with, now I push much harder.  In fact I didn't even wait 5 minutes...haha!

Important Announcement:

I told you guys I would keep trying to find some big names to join our board.  Please keep in mind this does not mean immediate development deals so do NOT start pumping the price.

This is simply a new board member who does not have any obligations to iXcoin outside of what he wishes to do whenever he chooses to.

With that being said:  Please welcome Mr. Michael Terpin as our new iXcoin Foundation Board Member.

Actually it depends. Anyone careful enough can use an address once then bin it. Thats exactly why bitcoin avoids address re-use. Because once an address is used once its not as hard to figure out what someones doing with it

That won't work - once Bitcoin is rolled out you will have one "lifewallet" or "life address" just like your social security number.

For your own safety of course...

That won't work.

Everything will be bought and tracked in the blockchain, with powerful algos looking for red flags.  Anyone buying or selling 500 boxes of tide will be investigated.

There is no way around or out of the blockchain once cash is banned and everyone is inside the bloc.

In philly grocery stores have machines you can use to count your change for free, some banks offer the service also but may not be unlimited,  as this is something i have never attempted, i only know what i hear on the streets

Coinstar is big national business.  But I'm sure they'll soon add bits for your change.

This whole global war on cash is happening too quickly for it to be a recent knee-jerk reaction.

Expect a massive domino effect starting later this year and some massive accelerants added to fuel the Bitcoin/Crypto adoption.

Try a little experiment. Go to your bank with a big jar of coins and tell them you want to cash these in. The bank will tell you to get bent.

My bank told me to go find a coinstar at a safeway, those greedy fucks want 11%, so i went to the casino and they charged me 7% and didnt bat an eye.

Now the bank will take some, not all, of your change if YOU preroll it. Lol, fuck that, what the hell good is a bank if they wont take my money. Which last i checked, coins are still cash.

I cannot speak for other countries as i have traveled little and only know the states.

I can say for here, Philadelphia.......... I don't see cash going out anytime soon.

There is too great an 'underground' economy built on it and I am not referencing illegal activity like drug sales ect...

I am talking about people paid under the table and many businesses that run on cash.

Maybe in suburbia it can happen sooner but in the big city (using Philly as an example)  the people will find an alternative real quick if it is made illegal.

Did people in jail not used to use cigarettes for money ??

After Denmark declared to stop printing cash in 2016, now Germany is thinking about it.

Are we going to be a cashless, totally controlled society?

Yeah, I've been writing about it on my riddle thread for some time.  We should see the war on cash escalate very quickly later this year.  By next year most major countries will ban cash.

And I wonder what they'll use instead?  Bitcoin should go into hyper mode and explode later this year and a few other competing currencies backed by opposing forces will follow suit and I think a global battle will ensue for which coin will be the one global currency.

to keep ix coin merge mined,

it would be much easier to just remove it from their system

and it would probably decrease the stales of other coins merged since timing is critical,  unless they are using some type of custom set up

also the way the iX network is 'running' i cannot see it running on old 3.x versions of the software,

they may have done a private upgrade ?  that is a guess and no disrespect,

most major pools use custom setups to prevent people doing things they are not supossed to do ,

for example recently there was a vulnerability that to me sounded like a backdoor built into strantum mining,

most large btc pools were not effected since they have custom software running.....

still an expense for cex to keep iX blockchain going, keep it on the exchange,  hell I know how much it costs just to run some nodes every month

it has to cost them a lot to keep it all going....

what vast resources?

You can rest assured cash is not going to be replaced by any cryptocurrency.

Going cashless is all about increasing the influence of central banks. And it makes sense: why pay with cash if one can pay via card or phone...

Keep in mind that the world's financial system doesn't really have any place for Bitcoin or any of its alternatives at all. It's a tiny little drop of "alternative culture" in a vast ocean of power. What we'll definitely see is a big(ger) international role of the Renminbi...

Obviously they feel it has potential or the vast resources to keep the blockchain running would not be spent on it.

Is anyone running an iX node out there ?  If not it may be a good idea, if you want to support the coin,  I can try to put a node up this weekend.
The pool sees 57 connections to its ixcoin node so there's a few out there running it at least.

I have been really busy in these days. I am just noticing today (on coinmarketcap) an unusual upward movement of several altcoins. Am I missing something? What is going on? Another pumping time?

I read yesterday 'the chinese' are soaking up a load of older alts.

maybe on the UNO thread..

China is on a buying spree of older ALTs ... QRK, ZET, WDC, MEC, ANON, IFC ... wonder if they would like a slightly more secure network than IFC running in the kH/s? UNO has got 1000 TH/s

Seems China has a taste for matured coins Wink

Do you have a source that led you to this opinion?  Or is this just trollbox chatter?

yes have sauce ...
