This will be among one of the top fights ever in history in boxing. From my observation and information Jake Paul simply want to make a name in boxing, and that's what he us working towards of which this fight can make such show.
I believe  Mike  will end this show in 6 seconds with a a super Knockout(KO) can't afford to miss this fight.

In terms of PPV numbers and live gates yeah why not? It could be a numbers that can land in the top 5 as far as money generation. Jake Paul doesn't need to make name in boxing though, but if you are referring to exhibitions fights yes, but pro boxing no.

Lol, 6 seconds knockout? that will be the fastest knockout, but I don't think it will be done by Tyson, unless this is a rigged fight. And if you look at the odds, Jake Paul is still the slim favorite. But as boxing fans, we want Tyson to win by knockout, but we will see. Hard to predict what will be the outcome on this fight.

From what I've read this isn't an exhibition match but an actual real professional fight.  Who knows what the truth actually is at this point, but that seems to be the big news of the day.  That begs the question of who the oldest boxer is to have ever fought in a professional fight all time.  I couldn't find any information about anyone over the age of 58 having ever been in a professional boxing match, so I think after this fight Mike Tyson will be one of the oldest to ever do it.  He does seem in great shape though.  We'll see how it ends for him.  Hopefully with a 30 second knockout of Jake Paul in the first round.

ESPN is reporting that it will be sanctioned as a professional fight. They will fight 2 minute rounds instead of 3 minutes and they will use 14-oz gloves, basically sparring gloves. If they need special rules then it clearly shouldn’t be considered a professional fight.

Texas is known for having a very corrupt commission so it doesn’t surprise me they would allow this. This is the same commission that allowed Antonio Margarito to fight when nobody else would license him due to the plaster hand wraps incident. They also barely do any PED testing. I could go on and on with examples of why they’re one of the worst commissions.

Jake is desperate for recognition and validation as a legitimate fighter. I am sure there was some quid pro quo involved for them to allow this complete sham to take place.

If ever he will be the one who will set the record I'm also hoping that Mike Tyson will knock out Jake Paul so it finally put to an end, one of Paul's boxing sagas, they are overstaying here in boxing and they made a lot of money beating MMA has been and newbies in boxing, the only one with credentials that he fought in the past was Tommy Fury which he losses.
It's time to put an end to that and hopefully, Mike is the one who will finish the job.

This is an exhibition match I hope Mike's training is enough to keep up with Jake's lack of experience Jake Paul will rely on his youth and be technical and try to win later when fatigue catches up with Mike.

in that condition especially if you are not training regularly.

The post I saw was Tyson has been in daily training for many years not just for this fight but to maintain his general health and discipline especially as he has not been so perfect at times in his life. The training was important to keeping up with a good general regime of health rather then the opposite.  With boxers or any professional athlete the problem is that muscle reverts to fat if not used and a heavy weight boxer has so much muscle to turn into fat if not used, so apparently he has been training at a far higher standard then normal to not suffer that flaw.  Of course even more training is needed for a fight, thats something else.
You'll see on his physique that he definitely do some workouts to maintain his muscle and strength but not like when he needs to prepare for a match just like in his early years of fighting. So as you can see in Tyson's Twitter account, his training is not for maintaining his health but rather training to fight which he get used too. Mike's body didn't changed that match but if you are going to compare his body from his latest video post in Twitter and from previous exhibition match from Roy Jones Jr. he definitely bulk a little bit in my opinion and more condition.

He has been preparing like a professional athlete, I find his current videos during training very inspiring, we consider that he is practically elderly... for example, I see people from my family or people on the street who are the same age as him, the difference it's impressive...

All of Tyson's changes in recent years show how much he dedicated himself... he was practically morbidly obese and transformed into a strong and fast body... And at this age his metabolism slows down and makes everything more difficult... yeah really impressive.

This shows the importance of exercises. That's why in the case of a real fight, without too much display or anything like that, it's very similar to the fight, because even with Mike's age, Mike's routine doesn't leave him behind.

Mike is one of the few retired boxers the community looked upon not only for his wisdom but how he keeps himself in top shape, but age is always a big factor in every athlete, there is a saying in boxing that the mind is willing but the mind cannot keep up, that's what DeLa Hoya complaint when he fought Pacquaio his mind wants to box Manny but his body cannot keep up, you know a boxer is on their retirement when they started having that thought and they hurt easily.

This is an exhibition match I hope Mike's training is enough to keep up with Jake's lack of experience Jake Paul will rely on his youth and be technical and try to win later when fatigue catches up with Mike.

of course, he is impressive at his age but we also have to consider that his opponent is also training to stay fit. Though Mike Tyson is a legend, he was a fearless boxer back in his time, but his time has already passed, it's time for the young ones and even if we criticized that Jake Paul is just a youtube sensation turn into boxers, we can't deny that he has all the tools to beat Mike Tyson.

I would say that those "daily training" probably were running, stretching, yoga. I doubt that he really put gloves and worked on a bag regularly, nor worked on paws or had sparred. What benefits he could have got from such training? I dont know. I dont know his daily routine. If he was chilling of the time, then they were useful. If he stayed active during day, then such trainings have little effect. I think those daily trainings were oriented on recovering past professional boxing career traumas he has got.

Nothing lasts forever
Mike Tyson is of 57 years now and with that age it becomes common to see the body in that condition especially if you are not training regularly.
Now that he is training hard and back in shape it will be good to see him in the ring again.
I wish it was a real match though and not just an exhitbition match with no winners.

Although there is a lot of disgust in Jake, he may actually win this fight because of his youth. Boxing is best when a person is young but for Mike at his age, that knuckle of him is likely in the most brittle condition. Once he throws a large uppercut, he will feel it and will likely not do it again. And he must felt it already during the sparring before the fight.

The best part of this is that Mike gets fit again and has training while making money out of it is one sweet deal. Regardless of the result, it's a win for him, and maybe this training will add 30 more years of his life.

Getting money out of the match and at the same time getting healthy for the match is like a double bonus.
The feeling must be great but I wouldn't say it would add 30 more years to his life.
No matter how good his training would be, if he doesn't continue his training then it would make much of a difference to his life.
May be 5 more years but that would be the max from his current training.

There is a huge chance that Jake is going to win this fight actually.

Slight chance of a good punch and somehow that's enough to get a win but it seems mighty unlikely overall.  The consistency is not there in a superior way to say Jake has the advantage overall, a bit luck who knows what can happen but thats a minor scenario.  If the fight is not straightforward and has a script then sure that's a huge chance of an erratic result but I don't think they'll risk literally setting it all up so I agree there is a chance of Jake winning but its less then 10% imo.

He hasnt got the advantage on any point of play not even the power with height and reach its not enough, Tyson has faced that disadvantage before.  That only leaves us one conclusion, poor health and some kind of points win awarded to Jake Paul.    If I judge Tyson has serious substance abuse problems either current or previous and its been serious enough that he'll never recover his technique to defend himself then that leads to a Jake Paul win fair and square but otherwise Tyson can and should win even at an older age.

If we speak about muscles, then for a person who has bern training for a long part of his life it isnt hard to maintain them in good shape. Muscles have memory. On the other hand, pile of muscles gives some advantage in boxing, but they are not game changers. But the body in general and reflex are from being in peak form. Anyway, this fight is not about whl wins, but imho it is about one boxer meets legend, other returns in the ring and show that what battle pensioner is capable of, spectators get fun, investors money.
well agreed with this one, this entire fight is just showing us what mikey is capable of in his old years.
aside from the fact that he is fighting jake paul which currently in his prime, we get to see whether an old legendary boxer could still meet the public expectation.
i mean to be fair people watching the fight just to see how mike tyson can fight an enemy in their prime despite all the limitation that mike tyson is having.

It's like a battle between intense experience and little experience. Mike Tyson's opponent may be faster or more agile, but when it comes to stamina, you will know. Mike Tyson's opponent may also think that he is old and not as nimble as he is, but he may be right.

But the force of the fist cannot be measured, and he cannot tell if it is weak. But even so, it's exciting to watch because if Mike Tyson still wins, that means he's just old, but the strength of his fist hasn't changed.
In terms of experience, of course, Jake Paul is far from Mike Tyson, who spent most of his life in boxing, but I think Jake Paul is also not someone who only has the courage to dare to challenge Myke Tyson to a boxing match, Currently, apart from being an youtuber, of course Jake Paul is also started training in boxing so I think myke tyson will only be looking for defeat in that fight, Current as an youtuber, jake paul has challenged many former boxers and UFC fighters with quite an impressive winning record so maybe he will be able to overcome any resistance from myke tyson.

To be honest, I want to see Tyson win and destroy Jake Paul arrogance in the  fight, but after looking at all the possibilities, it's of course difficult to say if Mike Tyson can beat Jake Paul. So far, of course tyson has a lot of experience, but in boxing fight, isn't stamina a factor the most important thing besides the strong  of the punch we have?
honestly, it looks like Jake Paul will be able to dominate the fight later on and he just needs to leave Myke Tyson out of steam and breath before actually knocking him to the floor of the boxing ring.
jake paul is still young enough, is in his prime, definitely have the agility here, if he can take advantage of it maybe he can have chance, but mike tyson despite being old is a legendary boxer he has the experience, we will see how much an experience could help someone in the fight against someone who are in their prime.
even though many people just call jake paui a youtuber but he does have the capability of a boxer seeing his previous matches.

There is a huge chance that Jake is going to win this fight actually. Since it is not a real professional fight, nobody needs brutality and injuries in it. The goal if this fight is to show fans Tyson in the ring once again (maybe for the last time), for sponsors to flash again on the screens, for boxing to become more popular, for Jake to earn and face legacy. That is why there is a chance, that due to youth, Jake would get Mike with a good punch, Mike gets shaken, and the ref will stop the fight. Even though Mike will be ready to continue.

The best part of this is that Mike gets fit again and has training while making money out of it is one sweet deal. Regardless of the result, it's a win for him, and maybe this training will add 30 more years of his life.

The sad part of professional sport is that it steals years. That professional boxing career might have stolen 20 years of Mikes life, but his training got him 10 back. That is just random numbers. But injuries and pushing body always on max never do well for length of life.

No I'm gunna go ahead and say there's a good amount of us that need to see brutality and injury lol.  Look I don't want anyone getting seriously injured, just hurt bad enough that they quite "boxing" and are embaressed so badly that they also ruin their careers of, um, their careers of ahhhhh, ummm..wtf is it that they do again, these Logan brothers?  Man to be a social media millionaire, I guess I could live with being a douchebag too if it brought me that kind of money and fame (women).

Go get him Tyson!

Ryan Garcia made a bet on himself and it was perfectly legal for some unknown reasons. I think that this fight might be decided, the winner will be the one that will collect more money for casinos. I mean, in Ngannou vs Tyson Fury match, Ngannou was the winner but odds on him were so high and so much money was placed on Tyson that they made Ngannou the winner. Don't wanna sound like a conspiracy guy but it is what it is.
It's not normal when 57 years old man fights 27 years old boy. But he is Tyson and Jake Paul wants to earn fame and unlimited supply of money (Tyson has to feed his family too). So, I little bit hate that such fights are becoming popular.

There is the factor of age and downtime too. If it were a really fair fight, with a really real exchange of punches, Mike wouldn't have so many chances precisely because of these factors of age and time out. I don't believe he can get over this in months.

So that means the advantage between the two boxers is still the younger boxer, literally speaking. Well, at that point, there can still be truth. But even so, they say to never underestimate
an old man. It seems that, with so much experience, his skin is already stretched.

But it seems like it's still really hard to predict who will win out of the two. Well, let's just watch and watch on the day of the event itself.

At this point I think technique is much more relevant, Mike Tyson will perhaps try to knock out Jake Paul in the first minutes of the fight, we also have to see that despite the age difference, Tyson is in excellent physical shape, I would bet on Mike winning

I even commented here in this thread that I think it's very difficult for Jake Paul to lay a finger on Mike Tyson.... We were talking about a legend, one of the greatest fighters of all time against a fighter who is practically an amateur.
