Jack of all trades 💯
Age is a factor against Mike Tyson, but despite being old he has all the technique, we cannot forget that he is a living boxing legend, one or two blows are enough to defeat Jake Paul, maybe Jake will use his mobility and age to try to tire Tyson who in turn already has all the possible knowledge of the sport and will use this to win the fight. I still think what I wrote a few posts ago, I believe that Jake Paul won't be able to lay a finger on Tyson.

I believe that Jake will be able to land some nice and clean shots. Stop living with the past. The fact that he was a beast 20-30 years ago and cast fear on every heavyweight boxer does not mean that he is able to the same again. Somehow many expect Jake only to go into deep defence and wait for a fatal blow. Somehow many think that Jake is chilling all the time, never ever put on gloves, while 57yo Tyson has been training and boxing like he never quit. I dont say that it will be a beating, or Jake is going to win because he is young. All I want to say that it aint going to be an easy fight for both of them.

We are not being realistic if we think that Tyson could beat Jake Paul. He may even be gas out after 3 rounds as Jake Paul is in full condition in the fight and him being young will have better stamina that Mike. I see that everyone has love for Mike Tyson and we never forget that he is a legend, but that over a decade already, a lot has change, Jake now is the new face of exhibition fights and he'll surely dominate the old Mike, (no disrespect).

Tyson is undeniable strong and have speed we can see it on his latest training video, but the question there could he able to last for more rounds? If he could not defeat Jake Paul in fifth round and up then maybe he will struggle with that since he's main enemy now is his stamina and he could run out of gas for that due to age factor. And we know that Paul have heavy punches that's why Paul have a big chance to defeat Tyson knowing that he has the youth which can give him more advantage to win their fight. I know many got hype on training videos released by Tyson and I myself got impressed to watch the legend is still capable to box but let see what's the result of this fight since for sure we can see an exciting match up between them.

Sharing Tyson recent video showcasing that he still got the move to boxing https://twitter.com/MikeTyson/status/1768828254428033058?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etwee. I understand that you guys are just considering the age of Tyson that's why he might gas out early which I agree but anything can happened on boxing that means Tyson can end the match quickly if Jake will off-guard due to his confidence. I have my support for Jake but definitely, I'm underestimating Tyson since he is active on his regular workout and knows how to counter any opponent just like what he did when he coached Ngannou who almost defeated Gypsy King who is the top in his division.

I'm still not removing the possibility of an upset match because I believe that Tyson can still unleash a deadly punch that can stop young Jake.

It's been posted on all social media Tyson still attracts a lot of attention, this is an interesting and exciting fight Tyson is still at the peak of his health even though he is already 60 years old but age is always a factor when it comes to boxing, Tyson may be good in the first two rounds but old age will catch with him and the fresh legs of Jake Paul will take over.

In the world of boxing even though how many fellow boxers will kneel you in the ring but still if you are too old then you will beaten by the fresh boxers. In reality like what you said is correct . Maybe Tyson will have a high chance to beat Jake in the first 5 rounds but if it will take too long or let say beyond 5 rounds then one thing for sure  Tyson will have a high chance of losses. Cause age will matter in 6 rounds and up. Cause Tyson will old enough and that's the reality .

You here speak like Jake is already a dead man Cheesy But the last time Mike has knocked out a professional boxer was more than 20 years ago. Of course in his weight class just a slight connection is enough to put to sleep unprepared person. But will he be able not to run out of stamina during whole fight? Jake isnt a stupid guy who will go straight with hands down against such a boxer. Of course he is going to make Mike tired by running away from him or clinching.
Exactly, I'm thinking that even if he's an animal on the boxing ring, the fight against old age will never be a win for him but the wealth of experience that he's got, I'd probably say that's his biggest advantage, or this could be a stunt and no one's going to really fight, someone might cancel it out the last minute, who knows what happens next. I've seen some videos of Mike training and I'm not an athletic person but basing on what I've watched, he's still spry for his age, he's in his 50s right? Which means that if he's keeping up a physique like that, it means that he's still somehow training, maybe not boxing oriented training anymore but just body maintenance type of exercise. What I'm looking out for is his punching power, would he still be able to release his power punches back in his prime or maybe even in his later years as a boxer?

That is right, we are not athletic people and judge one persons stamina by random 10-30sec video. People think it is easy to do boxing, but I suggest them to go a bad, put on heavy gloves and do slow accented  punches in same tempo for 3 minutes. Trust me, your hands will be heavy after and muscles will be pumped with blood. Now imagine you will have 8 or 10 such sessions and add that you will have to use legs all the time. People think it is easy to do even for a former athletes.

Now getting back to "beating retired people never give any fame" - why then they even agree to fight? Skip Jake and mind own business.

And once again. I am not here to protect Jake (as a person, he isnt a good), but I am here to respect him for motivation to do any kind of sports and activity he distributes. I strongly believe that he has burned some fire in youth eyes and motivated them to start boxing, or at least to get ass off the couch and at least move around.

As if Mike Tyson will always go forward to chase Jake Paul.

You already said that stamina might be the issue for Tyson therefore, he will just stay in defensive mode the whole time and let Jake Paul do the attack. Even in his prime, that's how fighting in the Heavyweight class is always seen compared to Jake Paul that always in attack mode since he's comfortable at a much lower weight class.

But anyway, any technical analysis of this fight is totally useless for me. This is an exhibition fight, not a professional fight.

Jake Paul who really has no morality in choosing a sparring opponent.

What is wrong with his opponents? At least he isnt fighting amateurs on the start of his professional boxer career. Who is more dangerous? Professional fighter who has retired, or an amateur fighter? Jake Paul is doing exactly what a guy who wants to earn and get experience and name should do. Money is his motivator. So you guys prefer him to have first fights against Jack Jones, Oliver Bouliver and Michael Pickles. I am 1000% you dont know who they are. Neither do I. Nobody knows who are they. And nobody would know who Jake Paul is. Was it disrespectful to call out Mike Tyson? Mike could have not accepted that offer. Was it wrong to call out for a retired man? No, because that old grandpa is dangerous Cheesy

Which the fight could just be DRAW and then all are winners except we're all just paying to watch them shadowboxing each other on Netflix.

Nonetheless, I still would like to see Jake lose against the old Mike if they for once want to impress us all. Mike is not what he is this time unlike back in the days when gets angrier when he learns his opponent isn't knockdown in the 1st round.

The exhibition battle I think is like a drama that has been arranged in such a way as to make it very interesting, neflix currently has full rights to the broadcast of the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul so it is certain that they will get a big profit from the fight regardless of the result and even I also think if that the fight will only end in a draw result later.

So far many have criticized the fight and even the fight looks ridiculous when bringing together two boxers who do have a very wide age difference today, yes Tyson we do admit as a great boxer of his time, but his aging age certainly lowers his stamina in fighting, although maybe Jake Paul is not a professional boxer, but I think Tyson is not a worthy opponent for him, because of his young age O
of course he has enough energy to exhaust Tyson before finishing him off in the ring, honestly I hope the fight will be like a  drama match that has been arranged so that we don't see Tyson covered in blood in the fight, because after all we will only see a legend who will be made fun of by someone like Jake Paul who really has no morality in choosing a sparring opponent.

LOL, but yeah, I think majority here are buying tickets or wanted to watch the fight and see Jake Paul demolished by Mike Tyson in just one punch. Or just like in his Roy Jones Jr fight, everything was stage and so it ended up in a draw and obviously no winner between the two legends.

So there is still a lot of scenarios if this is a complete stage between the two.

Or if not, then it will be a good fight and Jake the favorite. However, for Tyson fans, they are going to pour their money for Mike here and at least close that odds before the actual date of the fight.
If it just one punch, it doesn't seem like it because we all know how Paul has strength in fighting, in fighting Mike Tyson maybe Paul could be superior with his breathing being much better so he doesn't get tired easily but he doesn't have very hard punch.
It was impossible that Paul could beat Tyson in just one punch and if everyone bought tickets and watched this fight to be able to see all that then they would never see it.
I actually think that Tyson could make Paul fall down with punch because Tyson is boxer who has very hard punch and is not easy to knock down, he has the nickname concrete neck and only one or two boxers can make him fall with punch.

After all, there is no way this fight will only end in draw and I sure Tyson will give his best to make everyone happy, especially his fans.
Paul is so confident that he can beat Tyson but he forgets that Tyson is very difficult fighter to beat I think Paul is too confident and underestimates Tyson performance because he is much older.
However, in training sessions you can see that Tyson is still quite agile with his punches that are still very hard.

It adds up the hype but I'm starting to think this is getting serious. Dana White talks about Mike and calls his wife which she is saying Tyson taking this fight seriously and that he is training hard.

But they got to have an ambulance ready for this fight actually.

Every fight has it's medical personal ready and at a stand by, but perhaps this is another way for Dana to hype this fight. Even Joe Rogan has talked about it in his podcast and that he believes that Mike Tyson is going to knockout Jake Paul here or at least win this fight. Maybe Dana is just exaggerating things here or maybe he had money on Mike Tyson here for all we know. And the boxing or martial arts community could be in total opposite, others is on the side of Mike Tyson, but then on the opposite, they question him and what it could the effect on his legacy for allowing himself to be part of this called exhibition fight with a Youtuber. But I guess there is nothing wrong with it. Making money is no one's business and they shouldn't question Mike's intention here.

Yes, that make sense lol. People will watch the fight because it's either:

- they want to see Jake Paul being beaten badly
- they want to see the legend Mike Tyson fighting again

But I doubt as the co-founder of the promotional company who organized this event together with Netflix, it's impossible to think that Jake Paul will be allowed to be beaten badly. The only time we can expect Jake Paul to end up beaten badly is, if he will face a real boxer on the same weight class and the fight must be sanction as a professional fight.

But what if he will allow himself to get beaten and then have a rematch for more money? That's also possible as you have said his MVP company is part of this deal as well. We all know that Jake Paul is a business and so with this kind of mindset, who knows, first fight, he deliberately loses in a close fight and then calls for a rematch. Mike Tyson says "yes" obviously as there are big money to make again. So we will see, one thing I read is that there are no head gears here so it looks like this fight is going be pro boxer rule and it will make this fight even better for fans to fall for the hype and be excited. Could be one of the biggest fight in terms of revenue for this year.

I don't doubt that this is the plan for this fight, the hype is very high and they will try to monetize as much as they can...

Jake Paul is a content fanatic, I saw the interview with UFC legend Anderson Silva that right after the fight against him, Jake Paul himself went to a van and was editing the videos to post on the internet, him personally! the first thing he did after the fight was edit the content... So this is his level of commitment, and it certainly makes us believe that they will get the most money out of this meeting with Mike.

I don't believe with any of these anymore. If any of the Paul brothers is part of a fight, there is nothing to expect that much and this is all ployed by them and attracting other ex pro boxers that just want to take sums of money from the interested fans.

Of course, he's older now and every boxer that becomes old losses his prime and the strength decreases.

But I've seen his training videos and he's still got some prowess to show and that's just him being a boxer and will always take care of himself as part of his daily routine.

This is the main reason of it all, Tyson would not be fighting a boxer that could potentially destroy his health, so whatever the outcome  of the fight, if it's gonna push through, we should always consider the possibility that it will be just as scripted as wrestling. I mean, there's no reason to expect that Tyson could beat a young boxer, he is great of course, no question about his legacy, but he is "OLD" (I like to emphasized that) and he could not longer go toe to toe in an intense fight.

You know what the outcome would be, both are gonna make big money and both are safe. In short, it's a win-win for them and it's up to us if we will buy the hype and watch it.
The thing is that if it was some old any other sport then we would understand, but boxers do not age well, all that fighting and all that getting punched, eventually catches up with you and you end up being not at your best self the older you get. Look at how Mohammed Ali passed away, dude was sick most of his life at the end there. Because he was punched so many times during his career, and that is a guy known for being able to avoid punches as well.

Also, I do not think that Mike Tyson has to lose, just because he is older doesn't mean he is not strong, dude still has a punch with him, which means that if Jake is smart enough he would avoid Tyson as much as possible, because I believe one serious punch to the chin could knock out Jake very easily.
We do know that this man is a legendary boxer and its true that even if he's old but doesnt mean that he cant be able to take down those young fighters which the age gap is really that too far off
and pretty sure that Jake is really that aware on whose been fighting into but of course this fight do make that good revenue then he wont really be backing off despite that he knows that he's at disadvantage considering that he's fighting on an old Mike but doesnt mean that he wont be able to pack a punch. One solid counter or jab will surely finish up this fight
but since this is an exhibition fight then they would really be making it a little bit more longer or really just giving a good show for those who had paid off.  Cheesy
