I can't tell if it is a joke or just a very, very bad ICO. I would just look somewhere and not waste clicking on the thread / website.

I feel like we need more joke coins out there.
I look at coins that have been around since 2014 or so, and a lot of them are passion projects or techies fooling around.
Now, we have scams, shitcoins sold as pure gold, and people only caring about money.
About a month ago, I was a little bored and started collecting random alts just for fun. I now have 1 of each:
Mao Zedong
Trumpcoin
Unobtanium
Fucktoken
Nyancoin
and now, I will add Jesus Coin.
The funny thing is, Unobtanium was actually somewhat expensive when I bought it, around 60usd.
And it is definitely most welcome.

The guys made a really good site. I also liked their sense of humor. Only for one site people can donate them a little money, for what the guys tried.

When you visit the website of this new cryptocurrency, it’s impossible not to think that it’s a hoax and That’s because it started as one. Initially meant as satire by a group of friends, soon after its ICO launch, Jesus Coin started taking off as cryptocurrency investors scrambled to get a piece of the action.
I like these guys. They so believe in their project that they begin to convert other people into their faith. They really have a cool site, maybe someone will believe it.

I think it's too risky. I would not have invested them. Than it reminds me of a joke, but it's very well decorated.

I fully agree with this question. The fact is that as somehow or other it is still blasphemy. Any questions that people try to connect the name of Jesus and money, not only fraud, but not human stupidity.

Yeah, the concept is likely to help projecting the project to get to an unexpected grounds because it is going to make people want to try on it.
Meanwhile, it also looks like something not serious, like a joke and not a serious business name.

I consider the name of this coin to be blasphemy (Jesus Coin). For these people there is nothing sacred. I will not even read their white paper. This would be appropriate if it was about donations to the church or helping orphans. But I do not think that the church has anything in common.
they are using jesus name for their personal sake. This jesus coin project owner is terrible and stupid by putting jesus in coin! Fuck the concept that im going to pay this coin to lessen my sin and gonna go straight to heaven? lol. This will be 100% scam
