I'm done emptying the cold wallet - here's a signed transaction that sends out the last 500 BTC.

Does someone want to broadcast it for me?

Edit: (3 minutes later) that was quick!

Good service that can proudly say it never lost user's coins. Thx.

u sure? so where does the 1300 coins go

Is that meant to be a joke?

We've gone over the "1300 coins" story plenty of times already I think. No coins were lost, they never existed. They don't "go" anywhere.

Those transactions are considered dust and it would not be possible to send them unless Bitcoin value rises significantly.

EDIT: Dooglus is a  Canadian resident so I don't know why you're mentioning the FBI.

There would have to be a way for users to withdraw directly up to the amount they put it. That way everyone is there own dead man switch. Enough with the voting stuff. Don't tell doog what to do with other peoples money.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with this guy?

He hasn't withdrawn his Just-Dice balance yet.

Bitcoin is antisemitic
Well it depends on what the risk actually is, but I'm willing to bet a satoshi that it is not trivial.

I'd bet that you can't find a lawyer who can give you an honest assessment of the risk. I think there is a huge lack of legal precedent.

For sure in some places such betting sites are legal. I know of one in Curaçao for example. Moreover doog could delegate the legalities to some entity or anyone and just figure as technical support/investor/not at all.

For me as investor, the added value was his trustability. I will not invest in any replica of his site managed by an unknown/unknown.
So please doog, keep us updated on your plans so that we can adjust ours.

I also frankly don't think that the Canadian government is going to start with a site that makes less than 20,000 BTC a year. I think that they would go for a big fish first. And until they had passed a law recognizing the value of Bitcoins, I don't think they thought about it.

I didn't say "no risk", but I did say it's not worth just giving up without trying.

This is a huge site in the bitcoin world, there are very few bitcoin sites making 20k+ BTC a year

I paid close to 20% commission.

This is because I paid commission on earnings which then disappeared during a whale run. (and I significantly reduced my investment - so it would take a while to come back)

Look at these 24 bets. They are all characterized by someone betting a large amount of coin, at a probability of player winning of 73%-98%, and then losing it all. More than likely these are not the first bet tried at these odds, as a little success here can make you feel like you are printing money with the touch of a mouse click. The potential profit is the profit they would have earned had they won. The sum of these bets accounts for 78% of the casino win for the year.

   Bet/Loss      Prob Win      Pot Profit
   7,016      96.20%      204.22

A total of almost 4 million bitcoins wagered at the beginning of the year produced no profit. All profit of 19000 BTC came from the 1.3 million bitcoins wagered in the latter part of the year.

It is easy to make adjustments after the fact, but I think with a MaxProfit/bet of closer to 100 BTC, and a bankroll of around 20K the site would have made about the same amount of profit. Happier investors because they get a much higher return, and a much less frightening ride.

Given 10% of final profit of 19,098.09848411 that would be over a million less any operational expenses. It's possible he made more since the cold wallet still has 10K in it, and the amount invested is roughly 5.5K.

I paid close to 20% commission.

This is because I paid commission on earnings which then disappeared during a whale run. (and I significantly reduced my investment - so it would take a while to come back)
If the site continued operating - then eventually I would get close to the 10% - because the site remembers the fact that I've already paid commission on profits I don't actually have.

I guess then that the effective commission overall was a little higher than 10%.

Sad to see Just-Dice go. The idea to allow users to be the house was, and is, truly innovative.

Yup, same here. I was looking forward to doing something useful with my bitcoins instead of hodling them but it looks like investing in Just-Dice is no longer an option. Cry

So sad. But I'm sure doog is making an intelligent decision. I hope he stays in the bitcoin space sometime in the near future.
