Meanwhile, good to see the pool hash rate clearly above 30PHs at the moment - 33.5PHs
Ja. Looks like Canaan has another batch of miners online for burn-in. 2 days ago they were down to 280THs, now back up to 2.3Phs Smiley

I'll be doing a web server upgrade in about 20 hours - 31-Mar 3:00am UTC

No mining will be affected at all.

During the web server upgrade, the web site will be completely unavailable.
This is a straight forward VPS memory upgrade since the server provider has doubled the available ram on all their servers at the same cost.
I'm not sure exactly how long it will take, but it will certainly be less than 15 minutes.

Doing the web server (first) I'll be able to see how much effort is involved and how much of an outage it will be.
This will also lead to later upgrading all the rest of the nodes (NL, NYA, DE, SG , JP) and also finally the passthru that everyone mining to the main US node goes through.
I'll of course post about those upgrades before they happen, once I've worked out when they can be done.

So for now, just the web server will be upgraded tomorrow 31-Mar 3:00am UTC

Edit: I've also added a notice function to the web site and it shows this also - and I'll continue to use the notice function in the future also as needed.
Just a reminder Smiley
This will happen in ~1 hour and 10 minutes.

OMG the SPEED!! My S9 13.5THs I foolishly threw coins at and bought almost A MONTH AGO has finally arrived at the Hoth mine (also known as Cryptoboreas) over there in the Great White North and is hashing away for more BTC goodness!  Cool  Moore's law what? In the last year I went from a staggering 1.1THs via an S5 to 4.7THs on a 7 to now where I have an astronomical 30.2 THs  Shocked which is split between mostly here and jonny's pool.

Let's keep the Empire at bay, long live the rebellion (Star Wars reference, help keep BTC decentralized as Satoshi envisioned )

Mine on!  Cool

Indeed you've got to love this pool!

In fact, considering when this server upgrade/reboot is going to occur, and based on no firm science at all, I smell a Block Friday coming!!  Cheesy

0.9% fee is applied on the TX fee as well? Or only on the 12.5?
As the payouts help page says Smiley

How much of each block does the pool reward?

Transaction fees are included in the miner reward.
Pool fee is 0.9% of the total.

ok thx

As I know how PPLNS is working I have not searched there...

The only info I found was here in the OP:

Quote
PPLNS Stratum BTC mining pool - N currently set as 5 x the network difficulty when the block is found.
0.9% fee paid to myself to run and work on development of the pool.
Miner payout includes transaction fees.

How come the diff and luck show as negative in the block history for this one?
They don't - that's a tilde "~"
It means approximate.
Until the block is confirmed and summarised (recalculated), it's an approximate.
The "~" goes away once the recalculation is done (as it has now)

Edit: it always does that.
