Yep, it's quite simply:
1) We find a block ... ok that's not always simple Smiley
2) +101 confirms (network blocks) later that block matures
3) I send out the transaction to pay that block to the miners - usually within a few minutes of "2)"
4) That payout is a zero fee transaction
5) No one will confirm our zero fee transaction. Except us Smiley
6) Next block we find, after "3)" will (almost always) include our zero-fee payout transacations.

Hey kano,

Just out of curiosity, do you cherry pick the best paying transactions (i.e. BTC/byte) for kano-mined blocks to maximize transaction fees? If not how is being done under the hood?
Secret Smiley

Edit: but basically yep - as much as possible txfee per block and then continue with free ones also.
Though our one gets top priority.

Can anyone explain my why I haven't been rewarded for two days now even my miners are working 24/7.

If by two days you mean the last 36 hours then it's because a block hasn't been found for 36 hours.  The next block found should include the payment transactions for the previous block which was found 36 hours ago.

Please check the print screen.

Here is a print screen of my workers activity for 7 days.

I even haven't received yet the rewards of 7 January.

Didn't pool yet found a block so no reward or is something wrong with my miners or kano.is.

I'm still new to this learning so I hope you understand about my concern and help me understand why no rewards for me.

Thanks

That's correct.  I only answered the "3 blocks in a row" question.  If I have 1% of the total hash, the chances of me finding the next 3 in a row are 1 in 1,000,000.  However, if I've already found 1 block, then it's a 1 in 10,000 chance of me finding 2 more in a row and if I've found 2 blocks, then it's a 1 in 100 chance of me finding the third.
...
Now, where have I seen that sentence before? ... Oh, that's right... in my posts that Kano deleted.  Undecided
Your post is still there where you said Phil's post wasn't correct (and me quoting it is still there) .. though you edited it later, it now clearly shows that you are wrong.
I don't really care what you think you might have posted, or what you did post after that, other than you caused it by implying there was something wrong with Phil's post at the start of all this and then repeated that a number of times.
Go away. I've deleted all your posts.

Phil's post is STILL correct.

Payouts get paid after the block is matured and once we hit another block as to save fees for transactions Kano includes them in the next block.

For example:-

If we hit a block now and then one ten minutes later both of them would need to be matured (after 100confirms) before we get paid. They will get paid in the block the pools finds after they are confirmed.

hi, i just started mining in the pool on friday. I am wondering when the payouts on unlocked blocks are distributed as i have not received any btc to my address. I am a newbie so i apologize if this is a dumb question. I just want to make sure i am not doing something wrong.
My address is http://kano.is/address.php?a=17psAaYPheegRC8pyudq892tGLxSR8HQnE

please also let me know if it is a bad idea to post that address here! lol

I am also wondering if it is considered bad practice to mine directly to my cold storage wallet or if that is a bad idea. thanks!

The ignore button is your friend. Use it, live it, love it!

The fact that everyone else is here as a community whether that be hobby or business and the fact he is here to do nothing but try and cause trouble speaks volumes.

Seriously, is there not another forum that you can annoy with your dribble? Nobody, NOBODY CARES about what you post...right or wrong.  All you are doing is pissing everyone off when you attack others.
It's logically impossible to not care and yet feel the need to read and respond (and edit your response 3+ times).  Undecided  Tongue

Just give it a rest already. This was a nice thread of the forum until you came along stirring up all kinds of ill feeling.

From the history of my posts, you can only see what Kano wants you to see, not what actually transpired...

...Edit: to avoid littering the thread with garbage again...
Do you ever actually read the words you're disagreeing with, or do you just always assume that every comment is contrary to your basal beliefs?  Huh

I said this in my first post about it, that anyone can still see:
Quote
In the first case, there's no requirements on finding the first block ... it's just some time in the future.

I then pointed that out to you in your second reply telling me I'm wrong.

Then again you posted telling me how that isn't correct ... and 2 more stupid posts about it after that.

So I deleted it all - it was a waste of, what ended up being, 6 posts, and again pointless like before.

I don't care if you want to twist your words around so that you can pretend you didn't get it wrong.
It's yet again been a waste of my time for a while today ...

This is why computer genie is brilliant  and  one of the most skilled trolls I have ever seen.  I find I am being discouraged  to post correct info on block odds by his clever postings. Kano did you ever watch Peter Falk in Columbo?  Computer genie is a true master of Detective Columbo's playing dumb method.  He got you going correct?

MEANWHILE  back to the thread  more blocks please.
@philipma1957 VERY insightful & from the history of posts, looks to be spot on.

Mine at Jonny's Pool
Heh jonnybravo0311 you made a mistake in there, you left 'next' out before '3' in the last line.

Don't forget there's 2 different questions.
1) The next 3 blocks
2) 3 blocks in a row.

The actual reason why I gave the stats at the bottom of the last page is coz it makes it glaringly obvious that indeed the first block (with no specification of 'when') is a 1 in 1 chance Smiley
No way could we have done it 40 times if the first blocks wasn't 1 in 1.

Your stats prove it out.  Since you've already found that first block (effectively 100%), then with 3% the chances of you finding that next block are 1 in 33.3333...
