Anyone who gets an A7, I would suggest a change on the advanced web configuration page:
More Options: --avalon7-nonce-mask 26
It should speed up the hash rate ramp up.

I will definitely put this tidbit in my A7 notes.  Time to bring this monster block down!

Yeah the bit unclear in the discussion is that I do send out the payouts shortly after when the blocks mature.

The transactions, however, are zero fee transactions, so no one else but us will confirm them.

They are in our bitcoind mempool waiting to confirm.
Thus they are in the work we are all doing.
Our next block will confirm them (i.e. contain the payout transactions)

FYI, the actual transactions are:
440800 a25324c2828ecbf36cc3e893d4d724902c7df3ef263ec6e14236209a7ba7aab9

Thank you for replying, I had read that link you gave prior to posting here but I have difficulty understanding it(the block thingy).

So as I understand the payout will be send after the next block is found and matured.

Let's say, i do have pending payment on block A and block B has been found and matured, as soon as block B hit +101 confirmation payment for blocks a will be released?

In my case/question(block 440800).
Block 440808,440833,440901 has been found and matured as well.

Thank you
nope.
if block A and B are matured, they are paid when block C is found.
when block D is found, block C is paid if it is matured, if not, no payments are issued
when block E is found, block C and D are paid if matured

Try this   https://blockchain.info/address/13pucx6gHP2vyBLc88QfcGivjkhK63PeVg?filter=2    When our pool finds a block, any matured "100+" confirmed blocks, that have not been paid, will be included by our pool in the list of transactions. As long as our new block is confirmed and not orphaned then you will see your payment/s in your wallet.

Hi, would love to check whether the payout from 440800 and later has been made? This is my first week on kano.is.
Cheers
Matured blocks will be paid out when the next block is found and confirmed.

There's 3 block after 440800 and it all has been matured too, am I missing something here?
Yes...(missing something, that is... Cool) ...blocks that are matured are not paid until the next block is found. 440800 thru 901 are matured...but they will not payout until the next block is found (ie., there have been no blocks found since 440800 thru 901 matured). Then all will be paid out. It's done that way to speed up transaction confirmation.

And the rains came.... Hopefully putting out the forest fires!!!

My 48-50TH are now offline until probably Wednesday night. I hope that means the pool finds 4-5 blocks per day!  Cheesy

I just noticed and it seems my miners have been sucking in all the smoky air for the past few weeks and there is a fine layer of, what I can only guess, is ash from the fires in front of my output fans. I suppose this will be a good time to take the miners apart and blow out the dust/ash as well as I can.

Good luck! See ya'll in a few days.  Grin

Mine on!!

On the NL node (only) the provider is doing network maintenance (to upgrade the network):

In ~29 hours at 2016-11-30 04:30 UTC for half an hour.

They say there could be short network outages - so during that half hour you may find miners failing over/reconnecting.
Since it's not a guaranteed outage - I'll leave NL pointing to the NL node.
NL miners should make sure you have a backup node e.g. in this case the DE node.

Well I don't know how I will be able to replace my S7 and A6. No group by for the A721 except for freaking 1000 units and the current price is just wow ROI impossible pretty much. The S9 gamble with a 90 days warranty ? no thanks. Bitfury chips = where are they ? Ho yeah mining in their facility while they should be "accessible to the public" minus 1Million order min.

I will probably be out of the game soon enough.

That's a pretty bad day imo.

I'm on vacation so I'm only checking in sporadically, and wow looks like lots of excitement was going on here.  Wink

As long as we keep finding blocks the trolls will continue to troll. So trolls are a good sign.

Does the pool have servers in different locations so that I can pick the closest one or do I just keep mining using  stratum.kano.is ?

Thanks.
There's nodes at the locations in the topic.

So any of:
de.kano.is
sg.kano.is
jp.kano.is
nl.kano.is
(US is the main stratum.kano.is)

You can use any of the 3333,443,80,81,8080 ports on the end
e.g. stratum+tcp://nl.kano.is:3333

What the nodes do is accept your shares earlier (if they are closer to you) so reduce stales, and also submit blocks locally to get them out sooner.
The shares are still accounted at the main node in Vegas, but for the time you submitted them to the node.
FWIW...personal experience...I live on Kaua'i Island, smack in the middle of the Pacific. It's 2,000 mi to the nearest node, no matter which I point to. SG and JP would seem to be at least equally "good" for our purposes, but my ping times to SG and JP are more than ten times slower than to the main node in Vegas. There are a number of reasons why, but that's just the fact of it, and so I stay with the main. Check your ping times. It's worth it.

Thanks, currently I have miners hosted in the US so the main server is fine. However I should soon have some miners in China too. I'll test all nodes before setting a primary one.

third month on CK without finding block
today a new S9 added to my farm, yesterday i lost one board from first miner i have ( this board replaced before under Warranty )
now i have 60TH/s and i hope to find a block to feel normal Sad
I'm still waiting for my first block Sad
After 2 years my BDR is 0.48897920 so I'm ~half way to 'expected' to find a block.
Hopefully the A7 will help Smiley
My thoughts, too. Haven't found a block since Mt. Gox. Thank the stars for pools and folks like you, kid.  Kiss
