EDIT: Just finished replacing the power brake booster in the truck...just what a 68-yr old gal ought to be doing...not...I sorta kinda feel like the south end of that northbound chicken above.  Undecided

My word! There ain't nothing you can't do, is there? You're amazing  Grin
Now let's beat the heck out of this stubborn block so it feels like the south end of that northbound chicken! Grin

EDIT2: ...and, oh yeah, to keep it OT...be it known that BTC paid for all the parts and supplies. A major reason I mine. I mine here 'cuz my goal is long-term stability, and not who (read as pools) hit the most blocks last month. This is the place.

Now that one is in the past.

It starts in about 7.5 hours!  Grin

I looked at expected blocks for October and I thought it was 48 yesterday, today it has changed upwards, what causes that to happen? Change in hashrate?
400% of shares expects 4 blocks - so although we only found 1 during that 400%, the expected (average) was 4

I think we had found 48 blocks as of yesterday, then the 2 today equal 50.

I think he was talking about the calculated number of expected blocks.  It's good to wake up to see 2 blocks this morning!
That monster block was getting annoying!  Grin

... hopefully a few more because Oct may not reach 100 blocks  Huh
Doesn't matter if it reaches 1000 - all that matters is the PPS % - as long as we're averaging a block or more a day, the variance should be OK.
The higher the PPS % is the better of course Smiley

yeah - understood - but I miss those block parties... Grin

I'm planning to have a CKDB restart at 11:30 UTC (in about an hour)
This is for an update to fix the DB connection overflow the other day - recent code changes left behind a connection once per shift so the DB eventually ran out of connections - this update fixes that.

No miners will be affected.
Web site/api will have lotsa "?" for about 10 minutes.
This will be a longer reload due to shift timing so probably will take a full 10 minutes.
Restart completed, no problems (and no miners affected)
Restart was from 11:30:42 UTC to 11:39:52 (just over 9 minutes)
