Anyway, having gone through the recent luck stats, I have found a few issues with smaller miners that I'm now building the older data stats from the start of the year so I can be more sure of the results.
Once I've done that I'll send out the 2 outstanding payouts in the next ~12 hours (it takes a while to generate the data from the older logs)

hello kano,

what issues are we talking about here ?

I saw my invalid rate going up recently, I think it is since I switched to the de.kano.is server. (my miners are in France)

@bitmine49

You say you run a full node, I hope its a core node, but you support bitcoin classic by sending a link to a site that supports classic

I was sending it in response to your message of doom and gloom for core. If its not true great.

wolfen.  This is strange, we are both right!

When I go to http://bitmain.com and click on their link to buy a S7 batch 8, the price is 2.49 btc or $1,031.31

When I go to http://bitmaintech.com, as you said, the price there is $1.607 btc or $665 for a batch 12 to be shipped on March 19.

Is http://bitmain.com some type of scam site?  I wonder.  This is strange.  I'm not really in the market to buy a S7 right now.  I have
several and many are not running 100%.

Buyer beware.

Tom
hello,

Here's I just had on their site:
https://enshop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020160307020331375uYwfnI5D06C6
Price:       665 USD  ( 1.613 BTC )

So I believe this is just fine.

Kano did you reboot/restart something, 3 of my miners were showing zero hashrate?

I believe he did, I lost my hash rate just briefly too

Thanks confirming  Wink
The same problem reoccurred from an hour before, but worse this time since the packet loss at the data centre was much higher.
Again, as the one an hour ago, it only lasted a few minutes then was OK again.
I'm getting very vague responses from the data centre as to why Tongue

Thanks Kano, i did not see your previous update as had just woken up  Cheesy

When their website works.  I checked a couple days ago and their price was over $1000.

I still can't figure out why someone would pay $800+ for an S7 on eBay when you can get a brand new one from Bitmain for less. When I ordered mine, it took less than a week to arrive here in the U.S. No problems with customs, etc. Very smooth and easy. You could probably do pretty well buying a bunch from Bitmain and turning them around on eBay.
Last s7 price I saw was $650 on bitmaintech

With growing support from leading companies such as Coinbase which are running various tests to evaluate the efficiency of Bitcoin Classic and the 2 megabyte Classic chain, it is highly likely that the Classic chain could co-exist with the core chain in the future. If this happens, wallet platforms and exchanges will support both chains and verify the transactions from the Core and Classic chains.

However, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong recently emphasized that historically, when a split chain occurred, the minority was eliminated in a matter of hours. Armstrong predicts that the same would happen for the Core chain if Classic becomes activated.

Antpool, the largest mining pool, just mined their first #bitcoin classic blockhttps://blockchain.info/block/000000000000000006968c648240001fd7d856f9732646763225b084f72404eb … - classic officially in production

there are dozens of versions of bitcoin software, all of which are in production:

core will reject classic 2mb.   classic will accept core 1mb, can and does generate core 1mb block.
at the current pace, anyone tossing out a classic 2mb block will be the minority chain, and will be eliminated in a matter of hours.

i always wonder what kind of checks are in place.   if someone tosses out a rogue 2mb block, antpool is kind of screwed.

Nonsense

What just happened our rate went from 30ph to 21ph at that block?
There's was a network failure between the main server and some of the internet.
Seems to have affected some of asia and some of europe - the DE server lost connection with the main pool also.

We actually got the block after the failure occurred, since I didn't actually see the block appear, my connections were all down.
Anyway, all good, awaiting confirm, and no sign of any other blocks near it Smiley
Oh and very nice high almost 3% txn fees in it.
Well done AGRA1X

Thanks for the quick reply Kano and keep up the good work brother.

Edit: It lasted a few minutes so anyone affected by it will have failed over.
