edit you guys do realize that the way the current pool is setup if something happens to kano. your payments are done.  Id say its of utmost importance to not have that be manual..> But kano does like his control;)

Well take a look at the 500 block avg.. It was bound to go down.. Like i said their is statistics to this.. Kano can go on all day about it being random.. But you guys were "DUE" a bad stretch.. and a long time coming.>   Seems to me that this pool has reached capacity.. the devs don't want to come off any btc to pay for help to get the problems worked out.. I mean hell the mem leak has been going on now for years.  Since day one!.. Yea yea ill get to it he says.. Im sure this will be deleted by our almighty site mods or kano himself but that doesn't mean the problems don't still exist.> Just like btc we have to keep the problems hidden.. What a joke..  Btc is doomed by the very people who tout to say they want the best for it..   I love how any other day kano would be right on top of it.. Well he has over 500 btc so he needs to start spending it on security.  Just like slush they all want to do whats minimal.> Not to mention the competition aspect of life in general will be what ruins crypto.. I believe he is checking on certain miners not mining correctly and therefore getting paid more than they should in the past. Maybe a block withholding scenario? I am speculating based on his comments.

Probably we will get coins some hours after kano wakes up, i´m sure the paymets will work fine in the future to.

I wonder where in the development pipeline the automated/once-per-day payment system is?  Seems to me like that system would be very beneficial about now and would help alleviate many people's concerns.

Has Kano explained why it is necessary to withhold 75btc in payouts to work on the code? Maybe I missed that part, but I have to ask. This has never been the case before.  Some of us can't mine without our pay or we would keep calm and mine on. Months of making something out of nothing is turning into a loss from the lack of incoming payments... 

and now you can add some hours more until kano is get up.

Same here, most seem to be in same boat but like others have said, Kano has stated he was working on the payments, code changes, calculations from log data etc.. so I have no doubt that he will get us back to normal as soon as he can

My bad...I have not gotten payments for anything after 402133.  I recorded them in my spreadsheet but nothing has come in yet.

Hi guys,

I know this question is out of place but this is a place where I feel comfortable and enjoy learning what I can.

I've been trying to learn more about blockchain by playing with my linux bitcoin core node and the bitcoin-cli command.

I keep hearing about mempool and how poeple are spamming blocks with low value transactions.  I don't see a handy
command for seeing the size of the mempool or the number of transactions waiting to be put into a block.  I would appreciate
an example command for this.

I would also like to list my recent transactions to be sure they match up with kano's block payouts.  I could easily go to that
machine and look at the GUI, but I want to learn how to use the command line stuff.

Does anyone know of a good tutorial for using bitcoin-cli?  I've read lots of books but need some hands on.

There's a bit of confusion with payments at the moment. Not everyone seems to have been paid for the same blocks but I'm sure Kano will fix the issue ...
