Hey Kano,

Had some pretty funky networking issues going on the last few days.  I think I have it all sorted out and I am bringing more hardware online, but the tubes stopped showing up in the workers section. My stats page says its getting and doing good work, and I can point it at slush and see it working so I know its not the controller.  Any chance you can take a look on your end?

CKDB restart complete. (I took 11 minutes in total)

Firstly, I'm gonna run a ckdb restart in about 10 minutes.
Anyone who has an app that can't handle that ... expect a false block alarm Tongue

I wont affect mining at all.

It's a major (but small code) change in how I store all the data in ram.
Tested well, but if there's any problems on the pool, I'll restart and roll it back to the previous version.
That's not expected, but just a warning in case I end up doing 2 restarts.
I expect only one, but letting you know just in case Smiley

Batch 6 of Antminer S7 is the best to overclock, many of them do about 5,2 Th/s right out of the box.

I'm happy with overclocking mine to 750MHz / 6Th/s.

6TH/s?? Do you mean 5TH/s, or do you know something I don't?

4.7 * 750 / 700 = ~5

Some of the earlier gens come at lower clocks, like 600hz, they have more chips so they can be overclocked to a much higher Hashrate. Not that this relevant to Kano CKPool.

Yep, I'm talking about the uncrippled S7s with 162 chips. 6TH/s is not a typo.

Which batch are you getting the 6th from? 1,3,5? Also what PSU are you using to get that? I have some 1,2,3,5,7 & 8, some with Bitmain PSU and some EVGA 1600

If I'm only going to hash small, I'm going to hash with a pool of small(ish) miners like this pool. Good luck to us all - and nice to see some familiar names on the hashlist - I know I'm in pretty good company around here. Thanks for running this Kano.

OH - and I will have to apologize in advance. Every pool I join suffers the worst luck ever. Wink

Then. Let's ban him.   Cheesy

Got some "invalid" on some older miner i added to the pool today.

Took a small screengrab of it :

https://i.imgur.com/dErIGTP.jpg

The S7 is on 0,1% , but both old KNC have more invalid, one of the antique avalon also has quite a lot invalids, 0,816%

What are thoose invalids ?
What are normal ?

Is it possible for a miner to send back garbage data with somewhat correct checksums so that a pool doesnt find the block becouse of junk data that gets into the system ?

Rejects happen. My invalid % (0.5%) is pretty close to my rejected (0.45%) you can see on the miner side. Such a low amount seem pretty normal to me. It should be mostly shares submitted that become invalid/stale because they were submitted/received too late.

Ah ok thnx, i will watch the miners next time im in the serverroom.
