OK. 841s drain less watts, 100W less but here in EU one 841 its 1.734 EUR with power supply and controller and S9 is 974 USD or 830 EUR. 841 is 900 EUR more that S9. So you can buy 2 S9 for one 841 in EU.

What is better 13,5 TH/s draining 1200W or for same money 28 TH/s 2600W. I don't know its for 100W worth it!?? Please give me better argument!! Undecided
Thank you.

I started off with an S9 first out of ignorance and have since added 2 x S9i because of pricing, my priority to build up my THs quickly. I'll have to give my expansion a break while I save up a little bit but at least I now have three machines running.

Next, I'll be looking at adding the 841s if I can. So maybe works best now is what can work, not what might be preferable in the end.

And that all depends on what is released between now and when I'm able to expand again.

I cant login to my account on kano.is few days already. Payments were fine.
"To many failures, come back later"
Is this because of server change?

Seems like a lot of folks are forgetting and putting in their email address instead of their username.  That will also cause your account to get locked out.  PM Kano to unlock your account and you will be back in business. Smiley

User name and pass was saved in crome so something is changed then lately? It was always user as mail address.
I guess chrome saved it incorrectly.

It has always said there at the top on the login page:
"For all Username fields below, use your account 'Username' not your Email."

PM me your bitmain id if you are interested.

Shazam,
why do you prefer 841 over S9?

Reliability. The 841's are also a little more versatile, as far as, adjusting the frequency. You can get a bit more performance/efficiency.  They are backed by a 2yr warranty, and if need be, replacing any parts is super easy. Plus Canaan supports Bitcoin and our Community. Great company. They've offered me a tour of their facility, and if I had the money to fly there, I would!!! Ha!!!

Yep, I now have all S9s and 841s.  My 841s all run at 13.5+ but draw less watts than any of my S9s.  The 841s are proving to be the most reliable machines in my farm just like the older Avalons were before I upgraded anything.  I would love to have all 841s if I could Grin

You can buy whatever you want...each person has to do what's in their best interest and it's not my place to tell you what to do.  In my experience I have had a 28% failure rate (boards and machines) with S9's since they came out.  It's absolutely infuriating how crappy bitmain hardware has become over the years.  None of my Avalons have ever failed.  Is it worth it to pay a little more for dependability?  Again, it's a personal decision.

Thank you.

I can pre-order from Crytouniverse for the next batch, shipped first week of June, for 1002.00€ including VAT. That is only slightly more than the cost of an S9 after paying duty and VAT.

I know which I would rather have. Wink

When I began promoting Kano Pool, back in February during the block of death, we were at about ~45PH/s. Needless to say, we've come ALONG way in a short time.

My goal is to keep ahead of the Difficulty, and achieve more frequent Rewards. Yes, the Rewards are a bit smaller. However, if we just stayed stagnant, the Difficulty would eventually cause the same thing, and the Rewards would be less frequent.

Whether or not I consider this a hobby, profitability is the end game. I would love to, and have been, adding to my hashrate. I'm currently in the process of getting another 841 for my collection. The key factor for being Profitable, for me, at this point is: Promoting and Recruiting more hashrate to the pool.

When I go to my job, I take the necessary equipment, for the task at hand. Here, our necessary equipment is HashPower. So, I have MY hashrate, but I'm looking for others to contribute to the overall. We can just fool ourselves and say, promoting is not my problem, but indeed it is. If we build it.....they will come!!!

Reward section always just showed one payout, but better to be safe than sorry and jump ahead of it now rather than later!

MINE ON WITH KANO-SAN!
Yeah the rewards is all OK, but I'm not 100% sure it will be all OK when it matures and when I process the actual payout.
Rather than check and see what happens, I thought it better to avoid any problem to start with - since I have to do it sooner or later anyway - and it avoids people asking about it when they see it on the web site Smiley
(and now it shows all the stats correctly also)

Not sure how this works but we've had six block since I began here. Nothing is showing in the wallet I pointed my account yet? Three of the blocks have matured and nothing shows. I'm only using one s3 while I wait for another power supply and the total reward is only 0.00012963 for all of it. am i being eaten up in fees?

Like others have said, you're below dust levels.
Since I've been running my slow "btc-heater" for a week it's now 'ramped up'.

On that last block it got a bit over 0.0003 BTC for 4.81THs

So dividing that by 3 (just for that block) the dust limit on that last block (0.0001) was ~1.6THs

As mentioned - dust payouts will have to wait until I complete the accounting code.
KDB Restart

Sorry to spring it on everyone suddenly, but while processing the payout I've thought of a few possible (but unlikely) problems that could come of having 2 blocks instead of one when doing the payouts.
So I need to restart it now so I have enough time to fix any problems, if any do show up after the restart (though I don't expect any)

Mining will be unaffected.

Web site will show lotsa zeros and '?'s while restarting.

Mine on!

Edit: completed at 04:34:31 UTC - all OK
