On the Kano Pool Website I show the pool working on 498188 at 29 minutes. That block was found by BTCC a few minutes ago and already has a confirmation. It is NOT my connection to the Internet. Kano can you please look into this?
As I said before, you most likely are connected to some proxy.
ISPs often use a proxy for all the people who connect to them.
The pool is fine and switches blocks fine.
If we were switching blocks taking minutes there'd be orphans all over the place over the past month you've been pointing out this same issue.
I will push the I believe button. All that matters is that the 4 S9's that I just added to the pool are given the work they need to help find a Block for the pool!! Not a lot but I am in the Pool, swimming around happy as a Scallop, just added 56TH to the clan of happy miners!! Let Roll.
If you login to your miner you can see when they switch work Smiley
Though the time the miner thinks it is, may or may not be correct ... or even years incorrect Tongue

... though I didn't add this before, but if you are using tor or anything like that, please don't.
That will add lots of delays in the work and the block changes at your miner and will cause stales and lost pool blocks.

Whats the longest for a block?

A week from Tuesday...seriously, I don't even remember except there was one (in another pool, actually) that took five days.

Conditions are different, and change constantly. That's the part of mining I enjoy.

Mine on.

Maybe ill reach my 5nd before the block
I hope not! That would mean a 500% block.
I hope not either!

Still a pretty big TX backlog - hopefully we get some of those more plump blocks when we hit.

I like big BITS and I cannot lie.
When this bubble does burst there will be a lot of used miners on fleaBay Cry
When do u think it will. Or will it?

Maybe ill reach my 5nd before the block

a) Bitcoin isn't the bubble its the pin. My guess: Expect continued massive volatility but a continued trend of upward growth. -(edit) in fact, a lot of people point out how bitcoin gets stronger every time it's attacked, so who knows... Maybe we'll see more spurts of parabolic growth, then we'll see more crazy anomalies like when it jumped from 13k/14k to 19,600... WTH right? Then a quick retreat back down to 16,15. The jump from 14 to 19 is nearly 30%. We may be seeing those types of positive 'glitches' occur again. With the way media works, and how most sheeple take their queue's from msm, its reasonable to assume that going mainstream won't happen at a constant rate. It will go parabolic for short periods of time as percentages of subcultures join the ranks of the enlightened. I see the biggest challenge being that most people simply won't understand the technology and most people don't really care.(end edit)

b) yeah I only got things dialed in on the 2nd, so I doubt that I'll make my 5Nd before the next block - that would be a hell of a stretch, no whammies.

When adding another s9 or miner. How do i need to set the worker name?
Do i put it exactlly the same as the old one? Im addig not replacing.

username.workername

ex: arichards.WH1
     arichards.WH2

Thanks!

Im using
Myname.worker
Myname.worker1

That ok?
Under workers page i have both machines now.

I use worker.sr1 worker2.sr1 worker3.sr1 Much easier to follow.

Whats the longest for a block?

Don't ask, that 800% block was a killer...yes, that's just under 5times the wait time we're at now.   Let's solve this puppy around 140-150% and move onto the next!

I'm in WA state and residential panels are 110
Actually if you have a clothes dryer, range or water heater that is electric, those are always 220 volt.  Residential panels can have 220 volt if you want them to.  Yes, most residential electricians will look at you funny though.  I have an S9, D3 and a GPU miner on one 20A circuit that is drawing about 14 amps.  I use these (search on amazon):
Leviton 620PA 20 Amp, 250 Volt, Armored, Grounding Plug, Steel
Morris 82221 Industrial Grade Decorative Duplex Receptacle, 20 Amp Current, 250V, White
