Is there anyway to figure out the payout for one s9 after 5nd per block?
pool N avg 22.91PHs - block size 14.22993506 - your % 0.06%
1 - s9 reward = 0.00851171

Can you clarify?  I don't see how you get 0.00851171

It's possible 'your % 0.06%' above may be rounded up. It should be 0.059815522447. The numbers above are actual numbers from the rewards page on kano.is. The S9 has been online for months and the OP was asking what the payout would be after 5nd.

Apologies... I just wanted you to clarify the formula.

Pool N avg - blocksize - user % ...

I'm hosting a S9 for a friend (and have his machine in my account). I want to make sure his payout is proper.

Thanks for your help.  Smiley

For the new miners who have asked about payouts and why they haven't shown up yet, it is important to understand how payouts work here.

1. Block is found - we all say "yay! We found a block!"
2. That block must reach 101 confirmations before anything else can happen.
3. In order to keep our fees to a minimum, we usually confirm our own transactions when we find the next block. That can take several days or more, depending on our luck.
4. We find another block and we confirm our last block, which then allows us to get paid.

Sometimes Kano will add a small transaction fee as soon as our block gets 101 confirmations in the hope that some other pool will confirm our block,  so that way we can get paid sooner than if we wait for us to find our own next block to confirm it ourselves. However, since we are enjoying a "fee free" month for December, usually we have to wait until we find another block before we can get paid for the previous block.

Hope that helps you new folks. Not to worry....I've been mining here for about 2 years and have never missed a payment. Patience Smiley

Mine on!

Outstanding. Makes much more sense. I appreciate the information and lesson. I saw the payment posted to my account and then thought that somehow I screwed up changing the address to the Nano. Being the two last blocks are my biggest payments yet it scared me. Patience is a virtue. Thanks again and I look forward to getting to know you guys.

You're quite welcome. Great bunch of folks here, most far more knowledgable than I. No better place to mine that here  Grin

on windows, click on the windows start button and type "cmd" followed by enter.  That opens up a black window where you can type "ping nya.kano.is" (or whatever).  Your miner may also have a ping option in your network configuration area.
thank you very much! and what is considered to be a good response time? it shows 33/34 ms for me.
That seems great to me since it is pretty much what I am getting from Wisconsin to New York.  If you end up going across the ocean, it can be 125ms and more so those are the one you like to prevent if you can.

hi everybody, i'm new in kano pool, i found everybody is nice.
i just want to know how much a day i can earne whit you
i have  antminer s9 14TH
can you help me please.

It's been asked a billion times in this forum, even within the last couple of pages.....

The pool has a ramp up and down process and there is a page that helps tell you what you will get once you ramp up.

That being said, I did the search for you.

tradebtc.net/bitcalc.php
Also the important point:
You get rewarded per block we find, not per day.

Since at the moment we expect to average finding a block about once every 3 days, you can expect each reward to be almost 3 times the expected daily reward calculation, but once you've been minig for 5Nd.

Of course, on top of the expected 100% PPS, you add the average expected transaction fees, and at the moment until the end of 2017, the pool fee is also 0%

Hey guys, newbie here. I am a bit concerned that the payout for the last two blocks found is not reflecting in my wallet. My other payments have been rather quick to reflect. I was having the payments dump into an online wallet and then I would transfer it to my Ledger Nano. I recently changed to go directly to the Nano and now the past two payments are not showing up. I check and checked and triple check the address. I have used the address before to successfully receive bitcoin to the Nano.

It seems like an unnecessary way to do it. You're paying a transaction fee which isn't necessary. Put the wallet address of your ledger as your payout address.

That is what I did. I didn’t have my Ledger before that is why I was using Coinbase. The payments showed up quick. The two payments to the Ledgerhavent posted so I was just concerned. That is the reason for the question. Seems they were much faster with the coinbase wallet.

Don't worry. You'll see them show up in the next couple if days. The reason that take longer is because the kanopool pays the transaction fee and processes the transaction for you so you're not paying anything, but it takes until we find our next block to actually process that transaction... As far as I understand it. I could be wrong. Can somebody else clarify or verify?

Thank you. That makes me feel much better.

No problem. You will be pleasantly surprised. I'm not even half way through my ramp up, and I'm seeing My payouts increase quickly.

I have been mining on Kano for almost 13 days now. The payments have increased dramatically. I was getting disillusioned by not finding a block for 5 days than we find 2 back to back. I just need more patience. LOL.
