911 IT Admin. I keep 911 up so you get help ASAP!
I am not knocking the 90+PH we have now, but I, me personally, liked it better when we had 75. It SEEMED like we got more blocks and I got paid more Smiley

So now, with our 92-94'ish I expect more blacks to compensate for less BTC!

So if it takes many Goddesses, let's get them out there!

Fukami Kazuha Goddess of the Moon, since it's getting close to night!

OK, rather than waiting for a long block, I think it's time to call on an (almost) Goddess and request a few fast blocks instead Smiley
(yeah this lack of quick blocks lately has been unbearable)
So Elen it is from Lord Marksman and Vanadas (Elen being the Vanadis meaning a War-Maiden with somewhat Godly powers)

Block! Cheesy

Heh was typing this when we got the block Smiley

So ... Elen Smiley

S9 13.5Th for sale on bitmain website. November batch. Interestingly only accepting Bitcoin Cash as payment for this batch.

Bet they are trying to prop up demand for BCC on the exchanges.

Come on block. Lets have 2 or maybe even 3 today!  Grin
They are definitely trying to drive it up. Too bad too, I was all set to order a few. Oh well.

I managed to get 1 unit and 1 power supply!  Grin. I had like 3.5 bcc after the spilt and missed the sale when the price was around $900 so I decided to go ahead and spend it on this S9.  Wink

I was asked in PM a few days ago and my answer was:
Lulz - articles trying to create drama where none exists - you need to find who created the transactions.

Gotta love how many experts there are in bitcoin who clearly have no idea what they're talking about Smiley

I use core bitcoind and I don't prioritise transactions, just confirm any and all transactions available.
Any pool using ckpool will do the same since ckpool uses bitcoind
e.g. BitClub uses ckpool also

That pretty much sums it up.

reddit mentions kanockpool (former name) in connection with tx spam proliferation.
I did not look the thread over, just noticed the name mentioned.
Perhaps, kano should post something there to refute. Maybe he already did?

In any case, don't blame the messenger. I was here for a while.

Surely they don't mean his payouts

Nope.
it's a big writeup on the first page of bitcoin reddit, check it out.

EDIT: nevermind, kano is already on the top of the story
"it just confirms “any and all transactions available.”
LaurentMT comment: "pool [kano] could be telling the truth"
the story ends as far as kano is concerned, but maybe not for others, but the fact that it was wrong for one pool (or three) out of seven mentioned makes the story much less reliable even if i wanted to believe it as far as antpool, viabtc and btc.com is concerned (at least).

Guess there was a node that went down just lost 30ph from the pool  Shocked

Yes, I had lost a bunch of hash for a minute too! Roll Eyes
Yeah I saw it on the graph just after it happened as I got on a train but I don't get as much info from my phone as when I'm in front of my desktop Smiley
It came straight back, as did the miners, so all's ok.
The main server didn't show a reconnect but the nodes do cause a failover on occasion without the main server showing anything so I couldn't see which node it was - but that size would have been one of the stratum.kano.is nodes.

On a train?  Where are you off too now Kano? Smiley
