Of topic but wanna mention that S9i and S9j works well on S9.
Did flash all my S9 and working great since. Less power, less chip heat....however they sometimes make a low pitch noise because of thr fans running slower.

ahh ok, makes sense, I cannot see it because it does not yet exist for me. works for me. it actually states that newbie are allowed 50 characters. I cannot edit mine at all hmm..
To see if it works for you, click on "Profile" at the top of the page, then click on "Forum Profile Information". You should see an empty box to the right of "Signature:" if you are allowed to do anything with it and just type what you want in that box.

As some of you know, I've been tracking invalid rates with my Avalons. They were about double my S9s when I was running (5) per string (20 per controller). That came back on the high end of normal when I reduced it to (3) per string. I'm happy to report that (4) per string runs just as well as (3). Apparently only (5) causes the problem.
This really helps spread out the cost of controllers and AUC3s, reducing their overhead substantially.

Yeah I think that's what kano-san was telling us, getting that 5th or higher on the chain really can mess up the invalids.

Yer quite welcome. My block#7 was found by the R4 office heater This is our 1st October Block,and our 1st of Block Monday!
I might add that of 3 R4's , that is the only one fully working. My 1st gimpy 1 that lost a card donated its controller to R4 #2 whose board died last August. That recipient seems to have had rejections issues as now it has lost a hash board as well so now Gimpy-1 now will give up it's last working board to Gimpy-2...

great that we found a block.
Pitty is that i added 2 more miners, and my 5N is halfway now, increased with 10+Th already, and payout is less then previous block, while my percentage is equal...
Most is understandable, but its highly annoing to see...

If your percentage is exactly equal... all that means is that the block didn't have much in the way of transaction fees associated with it. Of course every block found is a single miner, but some people just happen to have a whole lot of those single miners
FYI that was a 7 second network block and blocks haven't been very full for the last 8 hours - so it was a pretty small one
... but NOT empty!
