Well,you are indeed correct,but I think one can disclose his gambling life to his wife when they solely depend on gambling for survival,in that case,the wife must know about it and either give her support to the husband.But any other reason why a man disclosed his gambling habbit to his wife,then the man should be ready to always be at war with his wife because no reasonable wife will allow her husband to constantly waste money on gambling,money that was supposed to be used for another thing will go for gambling which is very bad.However,some men have so much bond with their wife and won't want to do anything without their wife knowing,in this case,they can simply tell their wife when they win and when they lose because the wife knows about it.
Some men suffer depression due to a loss they had and won't tell their wife,rather they transfer aggression on there innocent wife at home,such men only want to break their home and nothing else.

The only people that I know will have a problem disclosing their gambling activities with their wives are those who are addicted to gambling and spend a lot of money on gambling. How will your wife feel when she sees you wasting money on gambling? There are relevant things in the house that can be done with the money, but if you gamble responsibly and your wife knows that you are just doing that to have fun, then I don't think she is going to complain if she knows that you are a gambler and that you gamble responsibly. The amount some people gamble with is more than the amount they spend on their family members.

Black money for gambling is more risky it can't be kept for long because it is illegal also you are right if gambling can't control itself then it leads to more losses and nothing is hidden. There is more chance of losing than winning gambling addiction or gambling is a psychological tendency towards gambling, in which the sufferer cannot resist the urge to continue playing. It is very easy to say that anyone who is gambling should not hide his habit/addiction from his wife/partner. That is all hypothetical wherein in practice most men would never disclose their activities with their spouse or would be one. There is no need to keep your activities a secret because they aren't supposed to know in the first place as it's your own business and it's not those kind of things where you are vocally open to the public. Whatever we do, we do it for our own benefit and totally not because of them nor what they would think, we should practice that so that we will not be having some certain problems that shouldn't even be a problem for us.

No, financial and emotional influences will not be able to make someone known by others that he is a gambling addict because not everyone in social life is open about finances and attitudes, many people are quiet so they tend to be more ignorant about everything and will socialize with others other people in the neighborhood.

Whether he is a gambling addict or still a novice gambler, I think they always cover up gambling activities that are carried out because most people think or look bad at gambling.

It's good that you managed to build this gambling habit and attitude. It's important that you hide no secrets from your wife because she's your partner for life after all. It isn't so sweet and nice if there will be a barrier between you two because that's not how marriage works. The moment you purposely didn't disclose something is the time trust can go away in a snap. Of course this excludes a few extra things such as surprise and the likes.

When it comes to finances, couples should have open communication because it is one of the leading causes of misunderstandings and fights. Hence, it's important to discuss it as early as possible and during your entirety of marriage. The fund allocation for necessities and luxuries should be laid out. Pool of funds for the household and kid's need, then own budget for both of your hobbies and luxurious activities as well as for your own pampering for relaxation and stress reliever.

I'm not addicted to gambling because I don't gamble often, maybe I only play 3-4 times a month, and when I gamble, my wife knows it, she also knows that the amount I gamble is in the amount of Only 30$ will not exceed that.

When I run out and lose, I stop immediately, and when I experience luck and at the same time I suddenly win what I'm doing, I stop immediately and I withdraw what I won and I only have 30$ left over I'll try again next time I gamble. So I don't hide or keep a secret when I do gamble.

I love the idea in here.  most often the real struggle for addicts to even realize they're in too deep. It's heartbreaking right? to see how some folks or some of our friends end up stuck in their addiction without even realizing it. And yeah, the fear of being judged they would keep it all hush-hush on a bush.

I think it would be helpful if we have someone who can help us notice the weird shifts in behavior that might signal trouble. those who offer genuine support instead of judgment is so important. If we can nudge them toward getting help, like seeing a therapist, it could make a huge difference too. But if you think you can't afford it, just reconnect with your family.

That's the problem and we need help but instead, some of our family members will reject and blame us.

But for me, keeping it secret is not the solution to choose. It was better for them (family and closest friends) to be aware of the addiction that we have for at least if they will try to help then they can do it. We better let them know because no matter how hard to keep it secret, there is a time to come when someone will know it. We don't need to be afraid of what they can say to us but it was best for us to save from falling into addiction.

Rarely is an addict aware that he is addicted and will try to seek help. We can see how drug addicts end up dying in their addiction as well as in gambling, and the judgment of others will also prevent them from telling them that they are addicted so many will choose to keep it a secret unless the people closest to them see or are aware of this and show concern by taking him to a therapist to get proper treatment.

Most of the gambling that I know show a sign of addiction such as they are keep going to the casino in regular basis and they keep selling things at lower market value price just to have money. It’s easy to spot an addict gambler when he is a player of physical casino compared to online casino but I’m sure he is displaying a sign of addiction to the people he live with if he is really a gambling addict. There’s no such thing as silent gambling addict or else they are not really addicted and just having fun gambling because he will surely losing a lot if he spend a lot of time on gambling that will surely affect his mental state.

It's not about black money. Only dumb people choose to use their black money on online casinos. If someone deposits a good amount in an online casino, they should be prepared to submit their KYC on that platform. I don't think anyone will submit their KYC online if they have black money. There is no reason to use a casino to make their money white while several better options exist.

They can easily use Bitcoin mixers to mix their money for privacy reasons, and they can use trading platforms to shuffle their money. Then they can use casinos as well. But when w regular gamblers want to keep their gambling habit secret, it's because they care about their privacy.

It will be a good time to heal their addiction if they are aware enough to ask for help to overcome their addiction. But sadly, we have seen what happens to gambling addicts where they keep hiding their addiction and don't ask for help even if they find it difficult to get out of their room. Thats true, whatever the scenario we should keep things informed with wife. None is sure of what happens the next minute and we all are dependents. When we're sad and if someone is there to hear our difficulty, it'll be so good and makes us come out of the difficulty at the earliest. Same is with gambling, whenever we loss our mind used to think badly and sometimes even to end life. At such situation sharing with wife or the close ones will give the solution and consolation. This could change our mind and stay positive and lets us to have control.

If people know it, sometimes they may take a loans with us suddenly. Or be obsessed to do the same thing. If they don't have good knowledge about gambling, it may trigger him to addiction or losing huge money. They may blame us because they are inspired by our winnings.  

I think we don't need to keep a secret about gambling to our family (especially to the wife). We only don't need to tell our gambling habits to other people such as neighborhood and friends. Sure, our family need to know it because they can help us if there is something bad to happen with us. For example, if we looks to be addicted in gambling. Our family can remind us to stop it if they see somethings badly with our gambling habits.

Just like on my situation on which i do keep secret on playing gambling games online on which i dont really like for my wife to catch me that im gambling because she would definitely be having that kind of reaction on which she would really be minding about the money and finances that you are really that spending on which it is really that supposed to be spent on important needs without even knowing that those funds are just extras
and this is what the reason i would really be that keeping secret my gambling activities which i dont really see any problems because if ever i got caught then i do just simply tell that this is just my first time on playing. 
Also when it comes to relatives or people around then i dont really like on having that kind of impression on which you would really be making yourself that look like a bad man just because you do gamble.
We know that the community would be always be having that kind of impression which is really that too negative in the time that you are talking about gambling which this is the main reason
on why people would be keeping it secret unless if its religious reasons or beliefs it is one of the reasons too.

Agreed, when he doesn't feel good it is a must for him to share with his close ones. Such act will help the gambler to limit himself as well as doesn't let him think of taking unwanted decisions on major loss. Most of the time a gambler tend to keep it secret when the gambler had lost big. If he had won, surely he'll share it atleast with his family members. In specific atleast with his wife, when it is a loss the person will somehow manages to arrange for the lost amount and never reveals. This is where the problem arises and could lead to massive debts, because I personally did it in the past.

Personally I think keeping ones gambling habbit a secret has advantageous effect and disadvantageous effect as well and I will elaborate a little on it.
The good thing about keeping ones gambling habbit a secret is that whenever the said gambler happens to win big winnings, no body would know about it thereby reducing the chances of being attacked or forced to make ones winning with people. But the bad side of it is that if the person happens to be gambling addict who tends not to control himself about gambling, he'll rarely stop the addict because of the fact that closed friends and relatives who were supposed to call him to order are ignorant of the fact that the said person is a gambler

I am proud of what I do, especially something that results in an achievement, income, or anything related to something that leads to self-esteem. in betting, I don't get the gist of the word "proud", which has to do with gambling. I mean, gambling is a type of entertainment in the modern era that anyone can play. most importantly, that someone has met the requirements to do gambling. the point is, I don't get the essence of the meaning of the word "proud" which refers to gambling. let's just say I won the bet, I reacted casually. most importantly, we enjoy the sessions in gambling that we do.

Talking about the secrets of gambling habits that we do, I think it's a normal thing for many people who like this hobby to do. There are various factors that make people gamble secretly, in other words maintain secrecy. as the OP said, it could be that someone maintains their reputation and all kinds of things so that they are not looked down upon by the people closest to them, or their environment and I think they have the right to do so.

For me, gambling is a fun part of the hobby. if it's not fun, it means I won't gamble. in this era, gambling is not something that is taboo. there are some people who are just curious to try it, there are many who don't care about gambling. there are those who are victims of addiction, there are also those who play just for entertainment and fun. everyone has the right to do this, but what we need to know, that gambling has risks in it. and if one wants to gamble, one must be prepared to lose. for me, gambling is a matter of privacy, without having to be known by the public. not because of worry about the negative assumptions, but rather that gambling is a personal pleasure.
