first china now south korea indeed they should first i hope doesnt effect crypto.new showed that the ban will prohibites only local investors  from contributing to ICOs, it means it not like chian's ico ban (all ico's). good luck with the pettiting they are making
I have never been interested in this issue internationally, but I have heard that China has always been strong in advanced technologies. Thanks to the response of many uses.
if this could be so hopefully it will not truly affect the crypto hope it will not but what can we gonna do maybe they have some personal reason just like they want to secure their citizen i think it is related for some scammed ICO hope it will prevent.

They are failing to ban or prevent their local civiliants to participate in the ico, But this time some ico will be more strict caused by the recent banned from some countries and the KYC as the solution to prevent the local civilians from the country that banned ico to participate in the crowdsale. Kyber and another ico already implemented the KYC verification but they are still able to buy through exchange site.

It's north Korea or south Korea? If it's north, then nothing matter.

I hope it's a joke. North Korea will never be able for any type of ICO.

And I'm getting sad for South Korea for banning ICO's, but they just want to protect their citizens.

funny if you are serious about it mate, n. korea doesn't allowed anything inside their jurisdiction so its south who's implementing this things mate
as they seen that china's moves to help their people not being scam so they need to stop or make some rules regarding to ico projects. maybe we
will see more countries to do the same.

this situation might cause some negative results about crypto especially in asia. but generally, ICO's will keep going as always be.
some of the goverments who act like Korea try to prevent and control some of the issues about crypto.
i wonder how they will act when hole world accept this subject.

It doesn't matter. We already have a lot of coins and if ICOs are banned people will find another way to get funding. Crypto makes different kinds of funding so easy.

This is slowly becoming a reality for ICOs in probably all countries. The SEC is going to kick in and soon there will be no ICOs. I am curious if it will be retroactive and if the SEC will dole out penalties for ICOs that have already happened. I think the era of ICOs is coming to an end, but not just yet.

Hmm...I just hope this guessing won't suddenly become a reality.
Most people will keep on saying that China does not really have an effect on crytocurrency as a whole; but I will like to say that they do have a great impact on it. Let's believe it or not.

they do ban all kinds of ico. but no need to afraid my friends. japan already move and support the transaction of ico . so we can chill and hope japan can persuade other country to adopt or support cryptocurrency and ico. hope there is more regulation related to altcoin that can drive altcoin become bigger
yes that is a fact that japan is giving a good support to bitcoin and hope that they will continue it for a long long time. I do not think that if a single country will effect the image of bitcoin. In fact now bitcoin is the best currency of the world and is spreading throughout the world in a best way. Therefore bitcoin is becoming more and more stronger with the passage of time.

I think there will be some effect on the market performance, but not too long since there are many advantages from the cyrpto market, so as you can see, the Chinese government has ban the ICO for more than one month, the market seem to be recovered.

Korea gov is friendly with USA gov so I think they will just control ICO. not ban it. many good ICO from USA still coming
Sooner or later, a govt will regulate ICOs not ban at all, because a new start up will grow with ICO model as the fund raising instead of borrowing money from banks. Govt can get benefit by taxing ICos and new start ups will be a drad new employments in the field. I think no reasons to ban ICO at all
Thats right. I think the government will begin to consider the benefits to be gained when they can set ico and provide regulation on ico.it is a form of the advancement of the times? so the government will not be able to withhold and of course their choice is only one. that is gives regulation to ICO..

If korea goverment ban all kinds of ico, we must be prepared that price of coins will fall and investors will be less.

We must brace ourselves for the upcoming dump, something like that? I say, that just keep on doing what you used to do because it will become normal soon.

Like what happened to China, because of those news the price went down by almost $1,000 and now it was back again at $4,200. There will be some possible decrease to it's price but who knows because of this news many will take chance to buy at dip.
