What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?
There is no problem with KYC but they need to inform bounty hunters at the start of the campaign or at least at the middle part of the campaign. KYC always cause delay and you can always assume that it will take months before it will be finished.  KYC is also needed to catch cheaters using multiple accounts. I think its unfair for those who are using one account. On the admin and managers side, it is only natural for them to ask for KYC since they will be paying the participants.

I can understand why you think it's unfair and I too would like it to be stated before the bounty begins so we can choose if we want to join or not but we also need to understand that ICOs are projects in progress and they only want what's good for their token. We keep asking them if they're going to get listed in a good and reputable exchange but we seem to forget that in order to accomplish that they need KYC.

No, this is not fair. Team members or bounty managers should announce it at the beginning of a campaign, not in the end. If you found a case like that, its probably the ICO project want to reduce the bounty rewards. It's their tricks, so no one would claim the rewards due to personal privacy.

from one hand  it it looks like   managers  want to reduce payment  because some of them will not pass  KYC,  some of them  will miss announce about it
so better way to pass KYC in advance)))

I disagree also for requiring bounty participants to do kyc at the end of campaign, why do bounty hunters like us have to do such thing if we're not even an investor.

I think they must make a regulation for KYC, if that campaign needs KYC do it in the beginning so the hunters can prepare the document before promoting that ICO. KYC is good to prevent the cheater in the bounty campaign. With KYC we can avoid multiple accounts in the bounty campaign. But with KYC i think the anonymous in crypto world already gone.

KYC? As a bounty hunter why kyc is needed? We are not investors, we are part of their team promised to receive payment from the work after the ICO. I think it is not actually needed, but since it is their project and we are just a bounty seeker, we don't have a choice but to obey the rules, otherwise we will receive nothing,or you have a chance to not participate if you feel that this is unsafe on your part.

This is obviously unfair. A bounty campaign should clearly define the rules at the beginning of the game, instead of changing the rules at the last moment. No one would like to contract with those who arbitrarily change the rules because they lack credibility. I suggest blacklisting ICOs and bounty managers who changed the rules at the last moment.

That is not fair on the side of the bounty hunters that will make participant that is unable to pass kyc work for nothing. It should be stated initially at the start of the campaign to avoid people losing rewards meant for work and promotion they did.

There were such precedents. This of course is not correct. But if you want to receive your rewards, then you have no choice but to go through the identification procedure KYC. Otherwise, your earnings will be divided into all.

KYC - know your customer. But we are not clients of companies. On the contrary, this companies is our customers, to whom we provide advertising services. I consider KYC for bountyhunters is fraud. This is the way to give out fewer coins
I wonder, then what does KYC have to do with giving a little coin to the bounty hunter ?
all I know about KYC is to keep us from dangerous projects, because they also have to do KYC as well to make ICO project

I don't like it and think it's unfair. Everyone understands that if this rule was mentioned at the start, then there would be much less participants and this project wouldn't be as popular. I think it shows that they don't respect their supporters, so i guess really solid and serious projects will not do so.

I strongly agree with you. People who do this are bastards, they are clearly taking advantage of their
powers and insulting the bounty hunters. Some people work their asses off in the campaigns despite
being already tired because of daily jobs and chores and even stay up at night or till dawn just to be
able to comply to the requirements of the bounty. In my case, it is a luxury to at least have for hours
of sleep per day because of day jobs, studies and the bounty I join into. Although I haven't participated
in such bounties that announce kyc at the end of ICO, the mere thought of it really pisses me off. If
they want kyc, why not announce it in the first place?

Yes, it should be said first in advance to follow the bounty campaign. Because there may be some participants do not have the requested documents, or do not wish to be identified.

I have no problem with KYC at the end of the campaign, but if the KYC requirement was announced at the start of the bounty thread, I think it's fair and if the announcement has to be KYC abruptly at the end of the bounty, I think this is not fair.

I think it is very unfair to ask KYC at the end of the bounty campaign. I joined Nucleus Vision bounty a few months ago and they asked my private information but still didn't give me the bounty reward.

This is also a means to show that this is a serious project but should request from the beginning of the program. Just to end the new program, KYC is not fair to those who can not pass KYC for some reason.
