In that thread, you said airdrop so I guess for airdrop, I'm also not going to KYC just for small money because it's not worth it.
I regret seeing a trend in the world of cryptocurrencies that is gradually increasing - it is an increasing problem to remain anonymous.  But initially anonymity was the most important quality of cryptocurrencies.
And following this trend, now even after a small airdrop, some authors of this airdrop are starting to require KYC.  For many, this becomes an unexpected and unpleasant event.
And by the way, the authors of the airdrop can even reduce their costs because some of the airdrop participants will refuse to undergo KYC.  I think that some cunning airdrop authors even save money on purpose even in cases where you can safely do without KYC.

I have made a statement/reason why I refuse KYC in this topic I created -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.59417542.

currently, I only do KYC on 2 exchanges (local exchange and binance) but none of the gambling sites I am willing to KYC on. non KYC casino is perfect for me.
If it is for the exchange, I think we should follow the rules of the exchange because the government controls the exchange. But if it is a casino, we have the option of gambling on a non-KYC casino site and since we are in crypto and have many non-KYC gambling sites, we can choose several casinos to gamble on.

Crypto gamblers will choose non-KYC casinos but some crypto gamblers belong to the whale who won't mind if somehow the casino requires KYC. Related to the bonus, that will depend on what the gamblers wants.

In that thread, you said airdrop so I guess for airdrop, I'm also not going to KYC just for small money because it's not worth it.

I read the thread, it's good. Most don't understand the value of their information and ignore that employees at casinos get a hold of their information and sell it without the casino knowing.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
I can choose whatever is available as long as the casino involve are trustworthy ,   because I have played multiple times in a casino that does not requiring KYC but when i need withdrawal they require me that i comply because i trusted them.

but of course those who offers bonuses is what i love to choose because of the advantage i can get and the opportunity to win bigger.
There is no problem if you play at a trusted casino because they continue to try to maintain their reputation and will even provide attractive bonuses for you and other members. The bonuses are given so members can feel at home playing there and for KYC, maybe they will ask you to do it, especially if you cross the limits they set beforehand. During this time, we are often asked to do KYC if the withdrawal of money that we make exceeds the limit from the casino. And as long as it's a trusted casino, that's no problem.
well that's what I already mentioned, that I only comply and play in casinos that I fully trust and this is what I do long time now.
there are occasions that I was asked to provide KYC and yes i gave them and my funds was released easily .
sometime it is the system that tell them to seek for KYC and I don't see any problem having that as long as I trust the casinos.
this is not any problem if we Pass kyc on trusted casino site . and which site become active for long time and which site is popular . but i am afraid to pass kyc for new site . i think it can use our personal document for any illegal purpose.

Well, you made the right choices because it's indeed risky to pass the KYC procedures especially for new sites. In fact, our personal details and other information are still not guaranteed safe even in the most trusted casinos but the risk is somehow minimize because these reputable casinos are betting their name and license on the line so we can somehow say that it's much safer as they are also investing to make our details secured.

If they have a bad intention before they open up their business then yes that will likely happen to our kyc and worst is they will close the site together with our funds. It would be safe for all of us to not commit a kyc on a new site before or after we signup (e.g by the time we are now doing a withdrawal) as kyc is more important than any amount because your own identity is at risk there.

We should avoid depositing bigger amounts so that we won't end on a sticky situation like that. For an old casino they can also turn bad but the chance for that to happen is small. If you feel that they are still legit then go ahead and do a kyc if it's really needed.

First of all i need a good casino. It can be with or without KYC, it doesn`t matter, but it must protect my private data and my money. If the casino can guarantee it - i`d like to choose a casino with KYC and bonuses. I always say that it looks strange to be afraid of KYC, when you give your data to different services every day.

This is true, Currently KYC on gambling site that uses cryptocurrency is not mandatory since the regulation about this is still on gray area ...

It's not about cryptocurrencies being unregulated or in a gray area. KYC verification is required at all casinos that want to get a license. Without customer verification, no casino would get a license. Verification is not required only in casinos that do not have a license.

Some with a license is Curacao don't KYC. Others KYC some players but not all.

Gambling website KYC is really a subjective matter. To some, they are okay with KYC but with reservations and under several conditions just like you are. While some people do not really like it and are totally against the idea of it even if a big time casino is involved. This is mainly because some people still prefer to be anonymous and doesn't want any transaction regarding gambling to reflect on their transaction processes.

Getting the trust of clients of the newly founded casinos will be a tedious task because of course, they still don't have the name and reputation to uphold. Hence, it will be better for these sites to go non-KYC first and then perhaps later transition with requesting KYC once they have made their brand name popular and their website widely played.

Some of the players don't want to risk their identity just for a small amount of withdrawal of course if you are just a high class person you don't want to leak your information in just a small value. At the same time some of the old gambling platform needs to adopt in the latest security and protocol given to them that's why they need to make an updates regarding with the KYC and now it will depends on them if they will follow those new rules and regulations or they will try to stick with the old fashion way.

Who says Old sites cannot do anything like that? who will find it happening ?  though they are being trusted this does not take the reality that any leakage may happen as well.
but of course those sites are more trustworthy than new sites.
But KYC requiring or not? who cares as long as it has been proven to be legit and paying so lets play on it.

If you were given a choice, would you play regularly in a cryptocurrency casino WITH KYC, and with added benefits like first deposit/welcome bonuses and cashbacks?

Or would you like to play regularly in a casino, WITHOUT KYC, BUT also without the welcome bonuses, cashbacks and other extra rewards?

It is not bad for someone to ask and know something. I have asked this question before in another thread and I want to ask it here again since I could not get respond from it there. What is the meaning of KYC in the casino gambling platform?

And to your (OP) question, gambling is Personal choice. So if I am given the opportunity or choice to play casino games regularly, frankly speaking I play it base on the policies of the choice. If the person pays for me I will play because at that time I am not using my personal money to play so I will play regularly but whereby I am to use my personal poket money to play a casino games regularly, I do not think it is possible for me although it might be possible for others but as for CAPITAL NO. That means you are indirectly telling me to sleep the casino hall. Or play it everyday which very bad because gambling is not career or a profession that one can engage everyday. And another thing that can make me to play is regular winning. If I must play regularly then I must win regularly as well. And gamble is always a gamble there is no way one can win Everyday. So where will you have the money to play the game regularly?

One of the most thing needed of a gambling casino is a license to make sure the security of their users, also some of the gambling casino offers a free spins, boost, and other form of rewards to their users to they can play more because of this in favour to them, also KYC is included but it is not mandatory most of the gambling platform have their KYC just level 1 like the name, they will only request a KYC if there's a problem with the players activity at the same time is the withdrawal like abusing the system itself.

It will definitely depend on how much Bitcoin/altcoin deposits you're sending TO the casino, and how much you're withdrawing OUT of the casino. For plebs like us, it won't be a problem, we have small deposits/withdrawals. But for those people who deposit $1,000,000 of Bitcoin? I believe the casino's financial security department will start watching the account, and follow its movement more closely.

Since the money comes from Crypto, I've never understood what that has to do with money laundering. If someone deposits $100,000 into an account and they place a bet and win it, they can cash out. then there is no money laundering aspect, is there?
Money laundering is not about converting bitcoin or other crypto to fiat. It's more about exchanging bitcoin/crypto gained illegaly (tainted) with clean coins for which the source can be traced and proved (source of funds).
Imposing a wagering requirement on deposits before being able to withdraw them can reduce such activity but won't solve the problem completely. For example, someone who has $100k worth of bitcoin won't mind completing the wagering requirement and risking to lose x% of that money as long as he will get clean coins. This is one of the reasons why most casinos have this kyc policy.

Crypto for the Crypto Throne!
Kyc is very important for any type of currency exchange, because only by verifying kyc will you be able to identify a real user.

Wrong. To identify unique user you don't need any KYC. It will be fine with unique cryptographic token, like ubikey or something similar. Yep, a person can obtain a lot of such keys. But again, person can obtain a lot of docs for KYC purposes. The same problem/

When  the kyc was compulsory for the players playing in casino then,it leads to the reduction in the players. This is because of the players mindset towards casino. When the casino was operated outside the environment. Most of the players will not engaged in this kyc.Other people will try to get some cash back at least for their benefit of the deposit to the game of casino.
When a person has been playing in a casino for a long time and has not passed any KYC, then the sudden requirement to reveal his identity will, of course, be extremely unpleasant for him. And by the way, quite a lot of people will leave this casino and start playing in another, where kyc is not required.
Therefore, by introducing kyc, the casino always runs the risk of losing some of its customers. But the player can understand. Many will prefer anonymity when gambling. There are quite a few reasons for this.

And by the way, I do not think that the casino is used as a mixer for laundering dirty cryptocurrencies on a massive and large scale. Of course, individual cases are possible, but large sums cannot be laundered in this way.
