People don't really like the tightening going on in casinos, like verification issues so they tend to look for casinos that don't use KYC. Also, people who know that crypto casinos can protect them from verification will like crypto casinos because they can freely gamble without anyone knowing. But I think in the future, crypto-based casinos can also ask for KYC for all their members, especially if there is pressure from the government or regulators. This we need to be aware of and we also have to be prepared because as crypto gamblers, this will happen to us so we need to look for other casinos that don't use KYC.
In the midst of increasingly aggressive casino competition, of course the government wants to be involved in incoming financial activities so that it enforces KYC rules when casinos apply for licenses so that they can operate more widely. But as is the case nowadays crypto casinos are increasingly being imposed by policy. So some gamblers avoid KYC as much as possible when they don't like it. But there is a waiver that casinos often provide, namely compliance with KYC only when needed for purposes such as large transactions or avoiding fraudulent actions. As a result, the government tries to provide an option that the licensed casinos will agree to.

as much as I would love to gamble without KYC, I also love and enjoy first deposit/welcome bonuses, cashback, etc... as a casual gambler with limited funds promotions, events, etc... is a great thing to have to further enjoy gambling on a gambling site. as for the KYC part, most crypto casino doesn't really ask you for KYC right of the bat and would only ask you for it in a certain situation.

Actually, if any of the gambling casino that has a KYC requirements are much more safer compared to a casino that has no Kyc where it is prone to loss your winning price in the gambling casino. I don't know if you get what I'm talking about, therefore I would rather for a casino with KYC, and I know most of the crypto gamblers will be much in favor with this idea here in this field of business.
Just to clarify, You would rather choose to provide your identification or do the KYC process depending on the security of the online casino and also that has much lesser chance of losing on the platform, am I correct?

There are already various gambling website that offers security and trust to it's clients and gamblers that only requires to do the KYC process depending on your account status or if there is a suspicious activity on the account. Also, if there's a chance that you'll lose your winning price, then probably the gambling site is already a scam.
I agree, that not all casinos that have no KYC requirements don't mean that they aren't safe to gamble with and our winnings can be in vain in case we would want to withdraw that. Both KYC and non-KYC have their own pros and cons but we don't have to discuss it for now as it's not what the OP asked in this discussion. I on the other hand, also wanted to play at such casinos that don't require some KYC as we'd like some more privacy.

With all the regulations being enforced by every country on crypto, its hard for the casino's to run without the KYC. Governments wants to control the money laundering and they fear that if casino's are not monitored for the KYC, they will be used in terriosts acts or moving money to criminals etc.
Hard doesn't mean impossible, you can check Freebitco.in where this casino doesn't have any complicated rules on their TOS and of course no KYC. The reason why many casinos have mandatory KYC is they're have a license, but the truth is weak gambling license doesn't make anything difference, it will only make the gamblers feel the casino is more serious. In the end all the trustworthiness is depend on the casino, not the license.

I prefer no KYC  with the exception of users that are questionable, reputation is what counts, but it's hard for a casino to do non-KYC if they are licensed and want to be compliant, they also need KYC for users who they think are violating their rules.

KYC now protects both players and casinos, but we are in a Cryptocurrency environment where players want to protect their sensitive information.

I should have explained it more when I started the topic, but to get more context I'm thinking about a casino that's built directly on top of Bitcoin or the Lightning Network, like DirectBet. No accounts, no registrations, just Bitcoin transactions. Plus to help preserve censorship-resistance, let's pretend the UI of the hypothetical casino was running on the TOR Network.

If you were given a choice, would you play regularly in a cryptocurrency casino WITH KYC, and with added benefits like first deposit/welcome bonuses and cashbacks?

Or would you like to play regularly in a casino, WITHOUT KYC, BUT also without the welcome bonuses, cashbacks and other extra rewards?

I don't mind the cashbacks or bonuses, I only play on the reputable gambling websites that we have now. Usually the websites that offer huge bonuses and they promise that you don't need KYC are often a scam. They won't let you withdraw your winnings and just suspend your account without any reason. For completing the KYC verification, I will only do it on the reputable websites. I'll read some review first about their experience doing KYC then I will do mine if the process is not that complicated. I don't think there is a casino now that exist with huge bonuses and doesn't require any KYC.

Welcome bonuses are characterized by the fact that very high conditions must be met in order to be able to withdraw them. To tell you the truth, I have never been able to withdraw a welcome bonus. For me, this is not something that makes me happy to do KYC verification. I would surely prefer anonymous cryptocurrency casinos without bonuses more than casinos with bonuses that require KYC verifications.

It will be so good if we get No KYC gambling casinos but with all the bonuses and promotions. Unfortunately such ideal things does not happen in real life.

People are shifting to Cryptocurrency because of the anonymity it provided and much more in casinos, gamblers do not want to get exposed so they are making a shift, that is why Cryptocurrency casinos are beating fiat-based casinos so obviously my choice is no KYC casino, there's always an exception to the rules of non KYC like checking one user who they suspected of abusers and checking the legality of one's player, these two are acceptable, other than that like a registering on the casino that asked a KYC is a big no.

If there are a casino that is legit and proven to be safe to play that not asking for KYC then I will consider this even if they are not offering bonuses and freebies.
But if like some casino that i played on whos suddenly asks for KYC nowadays? then I will continue supporting this and may still play as safe and trusted by me all these years.

That's why we  must always consider KYC everytime because no one can assure us of not will ask in the future .

Sometimes msot of the casino does not have bonuses to their KYC verified users it is just the safety and security of the users if they have trouble with their transactions at the same time forgot of the password or the account itself, and of course, most of us are dealing with the information security because this is confidential that's why we chose this than the KYC, for me i preferred non-KYC because my information is more valuable than the small amount of money, i just comply with KYC if barely needed that might cause too much trouble to me.

That’s really a hard decision for gamblers to choose the right casino for them.
Let me tell you that for me I don’t really like deposit bonuses and cashbacks. The reason for this is that they put limits and restrictions while announcing these bonuses which is really hard to complete.
I also don’t like giving KYC to the casinos and Crypto’s sole purpose was to remain anonymous.
So if I had to really choose a casino, then I might gonna choose a casino with No KYC and with No deposit bonuses or cashbacks.

Might be better if we will have a poll? So that we can gauge it more.

From a quick review of this thread, it seems to me that most members are in your camp. The majority would choose a non-KYC casino regardless of the welcome bonus or other benefits.

Personally, and maybe I'm an old school gambler, but I would like to play on a non-KYC casino. At least though they should have been an established one in the gambling industry.

And just like the rest, It doesn't matter if there is a welcome bonus or cash back, don't want to send my personal info just to play on online casinos. Would rather remain private while playing.

I agree with that too. Even though I may love some of the popular casinos here, I think it's just in bad taste to push people into a KYC /AML hell when they simply want to enjoy the thrill of the slot. As i said before, I think 90% of the users here just want to play the games and I think the casino should respect that. I understand the risk, but I'm not willing to give up my right to choose to gamble on a website where I can have fun and don't have to deal with pointless security questions and identification.

well I would rather play in a casino where I wasn't asked to do KYC, if we look at this whole KYC issue in the following way: the customer delivers documents on an anonymous site, with anonymous owners and that also doesn't know where the documents will be kept, so we can clearly see that the client is in a very unfair and uncomfortable position. That's why I think governments should review this KYC issue. I have no problem doing KYC, I just think this whole thing is unfair

I always prefer to play on KYC Casino, because it has a license, and this mean that there is an higher safety for the users.

just look what licenses are issued in which country

Sooner or later and whether we like it or not most online crypto casinos will start enforce kyc. For the moment, I try to enjoy my privacy by playing only on no-kyc casinos and many of them offer some great bonuses, it's just that they have stricter requirements.
If I'll be forced to verify my identity then I will play on a fiat casino and keep my precious crypto in my wallet.
^ The problem would be this.
There are a lot of casinos now switching from non-KYC to implementing KYC casinos. There are a lot of gambling casinos here that switch to a KYC casino.
I think KYC doe not matter to me, as long as the reputation is good I will go for it. I don't usually look at the bonuses and cashback, the reputation is very important because there are some casinos that have a problem when it comes to withdrawal. However, all these scenarios depend on the situation, you can analyze first the casino, and read the ToS and FaQ before putting your money.
Not that much but i've known some which it is totally non-kyc and then suddenly turns out on asking out for some slight personal details which i dont see for it to be an issue if you arent really that a heavy gambler.

Some of them are already fiat based casinos/platforms and just integrated crypto which it is normal that they would really be having that standard KYC manner but still opt out on removing for crypto users.

You could really expect such changes considering that these businesses are centralized which means that they are regulated which do abide on government laws.Sooner or later
we would really be having those kind of changes which we should somewhat anticipate or expect to happen in near future.

If both the choices are with a good reputation I will prefer playing in casinos without KYC, as a gambler, we don't want our sensitive information exposed that is why Cryptocurrency casinos are popular and beating the fiat-based casinos because they are not asking KYC, but we can hardly find casinos with no KYC they always make an exception because of their compliancy and this is also a way to check if one player is cheating the casino.
