Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
I value my privacy so my choice would be no KYC and no bonuses/cashbacks.

Bonuses (especially that most of them not worthy of that) is not enough to force me KYC.

That's right! In most casinos bonuses are so small that even if you happen to earn a few bucks it's not worth even trying to get them. Like in some places it's some free rolls or spins, in others it's a welcome or return bonus of like $5 or something. Some others have a deposit bonus... Maybe someone who is really poor would sell his identity for $10 but not me.

Ease of use, familiarity and personal preference are the main motivators for people I think.   Also KYC depends where you are in the world, some places it would be a hassle others no problem at all.   Most places do a bonus based off usage anyway so I dont see it has to be a total all or nothing scenario.

Crypto for the Crypto Throne!
If you were given a choice, would you play regularly in a cryptocurrency casino WITH KYC, and with added benefits like first deposit/welcome bonuses and cashbacks?

Or would you like to play regularly in a casino, WITHOUT KYC, BUT also without the welcome bonuses, cashbacks and other extra rewards?

Without KYC of course. The last place where i want to send my docs is casino in internet without proper license. Even more, i would consider kyc casino with bonuses very suspicious. Maybe they want to gather personal data as much as they can and later to sell it.

Bonuses (especially that most of them not worthy of that) is not enough to force me KYC.

Well this depends on what kind of bonuses, cashbacks and other extra reward that I could get from those casino. One thing is some of the casino I'm currently playing is asking for KYC so what's the difference with choosing the casino that do give extra rewards. But if where absolutely one casino that I can play and don't have any experience on other casinos, I would probably settle and not risk my identity on casino that doesn't ask for KYC. I can regularly play without thinking for the risk of my identity.

This is a very intriguing discussion. On one hand, it makes sense to preserve your identity because that's the whole point of gambling with crypto. If you are to gamble providing your ID then there are 10x better fiat casinos and sportsbooks where you can submit your ID and get insane welcome bonuses. At the same time, I understand how easy it is to abuse giveaways if KYC isn't required, especially in crypto casinos where users can withdraw and it's impossible to track them down.

Personally, I'm hesitant to submit my documents online and unless I trust the website 100%, I wouldn't submit my ID.

Then there are people who don't overthink and would hand over their ID without any issues. In fact, there are document sellers online who would sell their personal data, ID, and documents for a small amount. One must remember, that there might be repercussions beyond your imagination and its better to be safe than sorry. You are eventually going to lose the money back the casino owner anyways.

For me, KYCing isn't an issue but the platform where I'm submitting my documents should be legitimate.  That's why I first see how long this platform has been around and what are the reviews of people for that platform. Since KYC verification is necessary everywhere, so I will not try to avoid it but yes I will definitely make sure that I do not give all my confidential data into the hands of scammers.

Regarding bonuses and promotions; I would like to say that where there is a requirement for KYC, it is not for me.

So casinos with KYC. If it's trustworthy.

Since the no kyc casinos can also turn into a kyc casino, so in effect, we've got no option but just to embrace that situation that they might ask for a kyc.

Whether I care for bonuses or not, it'll still up to the experience that I'll have for that particular casino. So, it's actually situational and everyone has a point on whether while they'll be ok with kyc and why not.

I don't care about bonuses much since I always can't avail bonuses since what I noticed most on bonuses is you have to deposit an amount that I don't want to deposit. So, I would gamble on a casino that doesn't need you to complete KYC to stay anonymous. I sometimes play on casino with KYC but they only required KYC if you withdraw huge amount or when they think your account activity is suspicious to them. Prefer to gamble with no KYC is my first choice.

This will always matter on how reputable they, reputation is much important since if they off bonuses without KYC requirements but their reputation is bit off due to some running accusation on them then I will go to a casino which have KYC without any extra rewards.

Extra rewards is just a bonus and the more important thing there is we enjoy what we play without worrying about things that might put us in harm situation since there are so many scam casino exist everywhere.
Casinos also don't want to lose when they give bonuses or some kind of cashback promo without getting anything. KYC is required as a condition and many people out there agree to join. The bottom line is the reputation of the casino, but most users choose to switch from one casino to another if they really don't like KYC or remain anonymous and ignore various bonus offers.

I prefer no KYC  with the exception of users that are questionable, reputation is what counts, but it's hard for a casino to do non-KYC if they are licensed and want to be compliant, they also need KYC for users who they think are violating their rules.
KYC now protects both players and casinos, but we are in a Cryptocurrency environment where players want to protect their sensitive information.

Actually, if any of the gambling casino that has a KYC requirements are much more safer compared to a casino that has no Kyc where it is prone to loss your winning price in the gambling casino. I don't know if you get what I'm talking about, therefore I would rather for a casino with KYC, and I know most of the crypto gamblers will be much in favor with this idea here in this field of business.
Just to clarify, You would rather choose to provide your identification or do the KYC process depending on the security of the online casino and also that has much lesser chance of losing on the platform, am I correct?

There are already various gambling website that offers security and trust to it's clients and gamblers that only requires to do the KYC process depending on your account status or if there is a suspicious activity on the account. Also, if there's a chance that you'll lose your winning price, then probably the gambling site is already a scam.

I think I'd prefer the latter. Given the fact that whatever amount you deposit to your casino wallet, however high a casino offers for its welcome bonus, or however high its cashback percentage is, the point is that all these amounts will still 99.9% end up in the hands of the casino. In the long run, you're gonna lose. But the fact that your personal information is already in the hands of the casino or in the third party that handles its KYC, it means it stays there forever, sold, shared, could be leaked, and so on.

Even though bonuses and cashback are great rewards for most gamblers i'd still prefer playing in a casino that doesn't require KYC since i've played with casinos that barely offered any bonuses back then. I wouldn't mind settling for less as long as i'm able to play the same games and the house edge isn't too high. It'd be a bit different if it's on a sportsbook since there are sportsbooks that offer a better experience(markets, streams, promotions, etc) but unfortunately they're requiring KYC.

I still prefer to play regularly in a casino, WITHOUT KYC, with or without the welcome bonuses, cashback and other extra rewards because playing in a casino without KYC can make me anonymous and do not have to bother with verification. Besides that, I do not want to give my identity to other third parties for just playing gambling. So far, I can play anonymous on a casino without KYC so that gives me an easiness to just register using email and password.

A welcome bonus can be an advantage in an online casino with KYC, at the same time, many prefer to be in the shadows and not depend on passing the verification procedure, so even the absence of bonuses in a casino without KYC can be an advantage. However, the absence of mandatory KYC may not be safe for the casino itself from the actions of scammers, and this also needs to be borne in mind.

I will choose to play in a casino without KYC, the reason why we are in crypto is because we want to enjoy that kind of privacy or freedom, but look what is happening now, regulators are slowly regulation crypto casinos to be like a fiat casinos.

I counted six for KYC, and most of everyone for non-KYC, with others having an opinion, but without a clear choice.

If you were given a choice, would you play regularly in a cryptocurrency casino WITH KYC, and with added benefits like first deposit/welcome bonuses and cashbacks?
Who will refuse those offers?  and also the security you can have and the advantage you can take? of course I will be on this track in first place.

if I have to choose?then this is what i wanted.

Why would someone use this above the first? because of privacy ? and what comes next? being a victim of scamming? and then what? cry?

I'm not talking about a centralized casino site with just a "promise" that the service will be without KYC "forever". I'm talking about a site like DirectBet. A site that's built directly on top of the Bitcoin blockchain. You don't register an account, you just need your Bitcoin wallet, make a bet, send your Bitcoin, and if you won the site will send your Bitcoin back to you + amount won.

The first decentralized crypto betting platform
But does such a possibility exist in reality? I don't think so, because I am not aware of it and because of what the previous comments say.

In my case in general I also prefer non-KYC, although you would have to weigh the amount of money in bonuses and promotions and if the company is serious.

I think the discussion does not have much future, because apart from being hypothetical, I think in a few years cryptocurrency casinos will require KYC to register, before betting the first satoshi.
