Airdrop is a free token and you don't need to verify your identity to receive it.
Don't sell your identity papers because it will surely be sold and you will have difficulties if it falls into the hands of the bad guys.
I used to register airdrop with my main email and now every day I receive over 50 spam emails from airdrop, imagine how our identity papers will look like.

I'm not against it only if the project is really worth it. It helps to get rid of multi-accounts and other bots. but if it's not clear which company is better I will pass

I also never join any airdrops that need kyc because it is only annoying for me and some of them are scammer or maybe identity thief but for bounties are just okay, most of airdrops last year are good and they don't need any kyc for the participant unlike today it is not worthit.

Half year ago it seemed unacceptable and now it is usual practice, people are obligated to pass KYC in order to get some coins. I am ready to share my data in case reward will be at least 100$

To give your id for worthless tokens its nonsense.
Real value coins are: btc eth ltc and bch.
Those coins have main value all others are gambling.

the purpose of the existence of these KYC for security systems only. However it is now increasingly complete KYC document only. and this is quite time consuming. If only to claim the results of the airdrops are not how, then I think it is unfortunate.

It would not be worth filling all those requirements, however there have been airdrops that have come to distribute thousands of dollars per individual, so maybe in those particular cases maybe it is worth filling the requested requirements.

KYC in bounty campaigns, I can still understand, but in the airdrops this is too much. It is better not to take part in such projects.

If you not not get hit by kyc fraud.
You will get hit with other way.
For example: you pay mortgages but by the time you finish your mortgage payment your house value will be maybe 50% what you payed for mortgage!

I wont even join airdrops of these days any longer, talk-less of doing a KYC for their shit tokens. Even investors who have a lot of money and are willing to invest often shy away from projects that demand KYC  so why should i reveal my identity simply because i was promised tokens that worth just few penny. I believe an Airdrop does not need to use KYC because at this time many people are not responsible in using KYC data and surely it can harm us.

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

So far I haven't participated in any bounty campaign that requires KYC I've been into a lot of MLM before and these MLM are not existing anymore and we don't know where members info right now after they've done KYC for these MLM so better protect your identity we do not know who are people who will handle our sensitive information.

With no regulatory over watch one shouldn't even think about giving their personal documents to airdrops they don't even know about. Just recently two ICOs got hacked and the KYC data of their users got stolen.

maybe for now I see airdrop using kyc in registration has high potential for us to follow or join in it. and we can get this by means of sportsmanship.

I will never participate in airdrop campaigns requiring AML or KYC. It's not worth the reward you get. or nothing. Be wary of such airdrops. You will become tired of spam emails.

Well, when bitcoin and the other alts like litecoin were introduced like ten years ago they the developers and their supporters always boast the so called anonimity of the said coins. Nowadays those who do ICOs and airdrops tend to ask for their participants personal information. I for one am really opposed to that practice. Due to the fact that it was the said anonimity that I fell in love with cryptos. But sadly that is soon to change and I am afraid if we did not comply we might run out of coin opportunity.

This won't be - complete anonymity may lead only to anarchy and wars. Regulation is necessary, so it's possible that most projects will require participants to pass KYC. If there's an accessible instrument, some teams will do it right now

Dont ever compromise your identifacation card or identity for a mere 10 dollar. Doing kyc for airdrop is liie giving your personal info for free. Some of airdrop are fake and will sell your id in black market so be warned

I think this post was made when airdrops were still airdrops because I believe no serious minded bounty hunter will go after these ridiculous airdrops let alone fulfilling the requirements of kyc. The era of profitable airdrops has pass even that of bounties is gradually fading away.

I think that makes absolutely no sense. Even for bounty hunters, it is not always necessary to undergo this procedure. Is passport data now worth 5 - 10$? I think it's too cheap. Do not do this. I have never heard that projects requiring KYC for airdrop cost a lot of money later.

I can definitely see myself doing KYC for bounty campaigns but not for airdrops, unless it was a team that promises a bunch of rewards, airdrops are generally too little money to risk your identity.

I would for the most part concur with you that KYC isn't essential for an airdrop, particularly since I work for a task that has directed airdrops without KYC as of now. It's reasonable that activities that endeavor to lead KYC for airdrops have either been advised they need to do this under the law, or they need to guarantee they can reach you later to advertise. In any case, it leaves an awful taste in a client's mouth, and they ought to abstain from leading KYC for airdrops in the event that they can.
