Never ever.
Do you really want to sell your data for 5$ ?
Now, when personal data protection is more important than ever before?

Don´t be so greedy, your privacy is much more important.

Having KYC in any airdrop is not just bad but the worst thing to ever do by the participants.
Unless airdrop token are listed in exchange and the token you will get is a huge amount.
that i might consider but to have it without assurance or getting a token with small value will not a go for me.
Some people don't have the proper documents that are required for the KYC verification, and it becomes a waste of time to do a bounty or invest in something.

Know your customer - do you think that an airdrop participant is a customer? I do not think so. I think that they only do it for collecting IDs and then they sell it.

It seems to me that few people now like KYC. But no one pulls us through, you can just ignore such company bounties and airdrops.
If you think that there is people that actually enjoy doing KYC verification then you might be living under rock.

This is absolutely not necessary! Why limit the holders of coins with passport data? Fighting fakes? Also very controversial. Those who own bot farms, have long considered the KYC a problem. Rather, they simply cut out ordinary users.

In many good companies to participate simple members, you need to pass KYC, even to buy at 1 ETH and more, you need to pass KYC. Refusal from this limits our choice. I do not like this either, but there is no choice.

Yep, i just choose to do not join them because it is a bad thing to do, it is much more better to join other airdrops that are not asking for KYC or any other Bs of that..

KYC for anything in crypto market is wrong. Let it be for airdrops or exchanges. There is no guarantee that once you upload your personal documents to the airdropping coin that they are going to use it for the right purposes. Not to mention the fact that if they get hacked your personal documents will be in the hand of hackers and scammers.

It is an awful thought when you are giving your imperative accreditations just as a byproduct of a little measure of airdrop tokens. Better on the off chance that you have a phony archives it would be better however its not fitting by any means. It is totally better on the off chance that you didn't take a stab at presenting this archives, we know about it, however imagine a scenario where their primary framework has been broken.

For a worthless airdrop, i wouldn't give up my data. I only participate in airdrops where i don't have to do kyc.

People want to remain unknown in this community for security reasons. And here you come expecting me to reveal myself before I can buy you tokens or before you can give me some few tokens. I do agree that it is sometimes part of the legal requirements of the countries in which the project is operating, but the truth is that, KYC puts investors away.

I used to do many airdrops and bounties, now I've stopped since so many require KYC these days. Even worse, I can't even claim tokens I've rightfully earned because they now require KYC to claim and I refuse to provide this information just for some potentially worthless tokens. Of course, there was no mention of this KYC requirement when I was signing up for the airdrop and performing tasks, so they essentially scammed me out of free labor.

Everyone in crypto should be appalled to provide such identifying information to unknown entities for almost nothing in return, but that doesn't seem to stop many here greedy for a few bucks. I guess it will take getting their identity stolen by some scammer for these people to wake up.

Japan and other technically developed countries now demand kyc from the investors and traders, I think in the nearest future this will be also applicable for airdroppers

The choice is yours. I do not consider this a good idea. Not for the airdrop. I will not participate in this.

Leave them alone. If KYC is mandatory for airdrop, I think the developer don't understand what is crypto about. Even for some bounty I didn't claim my reward if they want KYC. I remembered nucleos bounty, after hard work to promote them, I didn't claim my rewards.

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.
You got it spot on brother..yes we came to the crypto world and one of the advantages of crypto was being anonymous and asking kyc for some 10-20USD or even less than that is totally rediculous..i think we should stop participating in such airdrops or bounties...

With so many regulations over ICO, KYC has become important for ICO. With US and China banning ICO, companies need KYC. Now it has come to bounties and airdrops as well. You are right that people have come to cryptos because of the anonymity feature they offer in financial landscape which is pretty rare and now these KYC are taking it away. But I believe if the bounty manager has already mentioned it beforehand, then it is pretty much acceptable. But a sudden announcement near the end of bounty is wrong.
