I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

Kyc should not be requesting on airdrops because this people are just bounty participants and they will not work but if they will continue to ask kyc on airdrop participants then maybe they will lose their own business someday.

That is the main reason of why i am always trying to do not join those airdrops or bounties, that is the main thing that you can easily do to avoid the surprise of giving out your data

I don't think airdrops is worth to do KYC . I can understand some people who submit their documents for bounties , because of the high amount they earned  , but airdrops usually worth a few $ , so it is stupid to take risks for it .

I think if airdrop asks KYC it is a very unreasonable thing, because airdrop is just a free coin that has a value of only $ 30 .. since a few months ago a lot of airdrop scam and now they ask for our identity

I do not participate in such an airdrop where you need to pass KYC. Many of them can be SCAM and simply collect information. Be careful with this!

the concept of kyc applied to any crypto is crazy but when you start talking about things like bounties and airdrops it's absolutely ludacris.

I think it's necessary for those who buy tokens, but for those who participate in a bounty campaign I think it's an excessive and very annoying measure

It is not compulsory to get into Airdrops if their terms is not good for you. I don't know why people complain about everything, you are not told to bring money, but remember everything has a price and you either pay for it in cash or in kind.

For many backers of ICO to take Know Your Client is ridiculous for an limited contribution and a  unreasonable obligation with limited benfit.

Please don't send your personal information through KYC form, for only few tokens. I personally don't participate with airdrops who demanding for KYC. Personally I don't trust on airdrops. Most of them are not needed by the market. They are developed for data collection.

There are plenty of scams KYC emails for popular ICOs and airdrops around recently. They redirect you to a fake MEW website. Be vigilant out there, guys!

I am definetely not participating in one of those. First off, majority of airdrops are scam and coins don't even get traded, listed ij the market and worse, doesn't even have an ICO. Second, you are too vulnerable for copy cats/scammers who want to earn from donations in exchange of these so-called free coins (which is actually not free) Third, they can all just promise an airdrop, prepare a form where some unknowingly participated, did the KYC and passed personal information which the party will now sell on some companies in exchange of information such as names addresses and contact details.

So, no. Definitely and truly not safe to do that.

I am against the KYC for members of the bounty campaigns. I think this is acceptable only for large investors. I believe that the use of KYC is at variance with the basic principles of crypto currencies.

I like this system because it allows users to become part of the project when they receive project tokens. This can have a positive impact on the development of the project and will cause great interest of users

I do not see the point because of a couple of dollars to pass the KYC. If there is still a desire to do this, it is better to purchase a package of documents and selfies, but do not spread your personal documents

I agree with your opinion. What do they need from my information? I'm just a bounty hunter, I'm not an investor. Airdrop most are paid little, if they need kyc, I will not participate
