I don't know see any reason why kyc is necessary  for bounty participants but so far i haven't participated in campaign that requires kyc. I think this is because there's a lot of multiple accounts that try to cheat the bounty campaign but it is also easy to bypass this as they can borrow their friend identity to get the bounty reward.

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

I think it wont be necessary for bounty hunters to have KYC. It would give another work or task for the team. I think the best way here is not make things complicated and continue on what it is when it started.

i think theirs no problem with the KYC program because the government asking them to have that program  to be secured because some country bamned crypto, but its great of their no KYC program for the bounty hunters because they'll just working and want to be paid off.

KYC is done to recongnize investor for money laundering issues. As the bounty hunter are not investing any money, asking KYC with them is stupid.
There are several other better ways of avoiding cheaters than asking for passport and identity, which by the way can be easily bought on darkweb.

I agree with no KYC, it is to minimize cheating, but it is better form filling is not too personal and difficult.

It is unfortunate but I think it is not necessary. I dont know why you would have to submit your ID before you get paid for something you have worked hard for. Bounty hunters present every information they require for participation and they can verify the accuracy of the information before they distribute the tokens and so I dont see the need for the KYC

KYC is not safe! before sending personal data, weigh all the "FOR" and "AGAINST", even if it is a verified ICO, you will not be guaranteed that your data will not go to 3 persons and will not be compromised!

Actually, kyc is a good thing, i think. That's my first thought on the subject.
But then it occurred to me, there are also the fraudsters and scam icos. I do not want to give my data to such people.
I think i would only do kyc if i was 100% sure the ico is not a scam.

I think it's no big deal. If asked the need to do! With the documents, they still do not what they can not do. So you can safely provide your data . I don't like this procedure either, but I'm going through it anyway.

The decision is still on the management and we need to follow their KYC bullshit even if we don't like it. They have the money but it is really unfair that they are just paying a small amount of money that is not even worth of the documents that we are sending them.

And that document is our identity that weren't sure if it's protectedd or not like we never know if they'll use it to fraudulent activity. Though we really need to follow them from what they require but still we can choose to join or not. I believe kyc is required by AMLC to investors that will invest big amount and bounty hunters aren't investors so there's no way to require this.

I think it does not matter if there are rules to do KYC for bounty hunters but the rules should be explained at the beginning so we can choose whether to join or not, if the rules for KYC are requested at the end of the program then it becomes unfair to bounty hunters

KYC is thought to be "customer insight" or "knowing who the customer is", or in the electronic money space you often call "identity verification". This is a benchmark in the investment industry to ensure that the investment adviser identifies detailed information on risk tolerance, investment knowledge, and client financial position. Many bounty projects demand kyc when rewarding participants

Back in december it was not needed. Now I see more and more bounty campaigns switching to KYC needed in order to receive tokens. AmaZix, one of the biggest bounty management team now also introduced KYC for bounties.
I'm personally okay with that as long as my data is not shared. KYC in general prevents multi participation and scam and overall the rewards are higher.

This would eliminate the number of clone accounts. This would lessen the number of spams. I am a bounty hunter but I would like to implement this rule for the sake of cleaning the community and fairness with the ICO owners.

I don't understand how you publish personal data to get a small amount of money, and if you're tired of peaceful life, it's probably worth it, but if you still have some problems in the end, you just have to blame yourself.

I disagree on this one simply because there are security threats over the cyberspace wherein sensitive and confidential information of a user can easily be hacked and used for other crimes. Had it only been strengthened for the sake of users, then KYC might be good for me. Plus, doing KYC can actually tempt other users to produce fake accounts so that they will not be traced. I understand the need for complying with their countries policies on ICO, but transparency on the storage of these informations should be emphasized.

I think this is one way for the bounty managers to prevent multiple accounts owned by the same person. But the bounty would be dangerous if those information would be used on illegal. And some Bounties and ICO's are scams and if we submit our ID documents to them that will cause a huge issue in future.

I agree that some projects require bounty hunters to submit their KYC forms, which minimize fraud and spam.

All participants in ICO, whether you are an investor or a bounty hunter, should comply with the requirements of KYC.

Yes thats true. Nowadays bounty campaigns requires KYC before they release the rewards. In some point its good because they will be able to know multiple accounts, scammers, and those who are not being honest. On the other hand, it sounds dangerous because you are providing your personal information that might be use against you.
