Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

I think it's awful, the main idea of the blockade is anonymity, and KYC kills the whole idea, moreover kyc very often it is announced after the work is done

and if you have kyc as bounty man it is still possible that you still get no token. if the team is gone or if they just do not pay or say they have been hacked. It is ridiculous to demand kyc for the bounty prize. Something that should never be done

But future is looking more worsen for this as too many companies asking for KYC before distribution they need to do this from start as if some one not want to do then surely he avoid this bounty and if still some one want to do then its his own choice I was reading in few sites this is going to happen more strictly in future even for bounty hunters

Bounties doesnt require KYC for participants. Then if they are asking for this information then better think twice before giving any information. Its important to be vigilant when giving information if its one of the requirements of the bounty then its your discretion if you would like to give your personal information.
And what if I participated in the campaign bounty and after its termination the organizers demanded to pass KYC for reward? What to do in this case? I myself have not come across this, but I've heard about it many times.
If you hold dear your info and privacy, then befory your going into a bounty campaign ask its bounty manager whether they have the rule you need pass KYC. It is not so long and hard

not all managers answer such questions and some even say if they do not know what i heard from my friends but what i observed for projects using kyc it is a project that tries not to pay the participants .. with kyc will make it difficult for the participants but if we do not do it we do not get that payment that makes us hunters difficult

KYC for bounty participants, as my point of view, has  2 different sides. It has pro's and con's. Yes, it makes the control clear but noone wants to "lose" his docs in the dark web...

To ask personal data to bounty hunters is clearly an abuse, if it wasn't declared at the beginning of the campaign.  More over, there is no a legitimate reason: we are not investors, and the sums are very small.

That is also what I'm thinking, KYC(Know Your Customer) must be on the investors only and not for the bounty hunters. It is some sort of abuse because they are going to know our identity, which means they are ruining the fact about crpytocurrency which is being anonymous. In some point, this KYC is a pain in the ass, because what if there are some people who wants to join a certain project because they know that it is a good one but they can't join since it is KYC and they are not yet on the legal age(It is a disadvantage and being unfair).

It's a good idea. KYC or know your customer is a term commonly used for customer identification process.  KYC system prevents money laundering and reduces fraud. In the bounty program, KYC is used for payment system,  and it's a good to be used to avoid multi accounts and scammers.

For bounty hunters, KYC is a good thing, especially all these promotion plans and ongoing fake introductions. we can prevent this from happening. Let's not say that only honest people will fail at last.

Personally, I don't like this process, When I consider some fact  good and bad thing their

1- Someone use too many accounts for one bounty and it is  more effective for others they got less token because when stacks are too much 1 stacks/Token  ratio is too much low Then they get less number of token

2- When we submit our KYC if Project is a scam they will use the data for where ever else it is more effective for us , Please be sure and double check is it a scam or not

This is just my idea!

abuse? they (dev) as if to say "SURPRISE MADAFAKA!!!!" for those who that cheating the campaign, if they said about KYC at the first, they're (cheaters) will able to buy identity from someone, if they (dev) say it at the end of campaign, cheaters do not have enough time to prepare it....

I don't like to give my ID details to some ICO developers who which i don't even know if they are real or not.
This is the worst thing for community and i will not join any bounties which ask for KYC.

I am not joining any bounty that requires KYC and I would accuse of scam any bounty that tries to make me do a KYC after I do the campaign for them. Bounty is a support not an investment and there is no way it can be used for money laundering or any illegal activity.
Same here, never ever wanted to join a bounty that requires KYC if not an emergency situation or not being forced to mainly because I don't want to risk my data doing KYC and getting leaked and then sold in the dark web like what happened to few ICO project months ago.
It's better to refuse few hundreds dollar than getting your data leaked and then you will suffer loss of thousands worth of dollars.

I think they do that to recognize anyone who joins in the project to avoid a robot or multy account account that will harm other bounty participants

I like this idea. I'm of the opinion there are a lot of bounty hunters gaming the system with multiple accounts and kyc reduces this.

They use kyc because they want to know if the person is really doing their job. And i think this is also a good thing to know the bounty hunter, but the other side this is bad because we give our personal information. I think kyc will not be a requirement.
