Just because something has a chance of happening, does not mean it is going to happen. Girona hoping for a lose or draw for Real Madrid in order to widen the gap is not something ideal of them, they are now in the top positions of the La Liga table, every action from any team should keep them focus on winning theirs also. If they depend on that, it can lead to many disappointment.

They should also focus on their upcoming match against Real Madrid, that should be the right time for them to widen the point gap between them.
