So just like you said Girona match on weekend is not much of a serious match for them against Deportivo Alaves because if you check Alaves performance this season is not encouraging and they are on the 16 position on the table, so perhaps is just an easy and free points for Girona and also considering there home advantage is actually a very easy win for them.

I don't really know how strong Girona squad dept is at the moment, but if they don't have enough squad dept they have to make some good buy during the January transfer window. IMO if they continue like this it is not impossible at the end of the season they are even in the top standings not in the middle standings.
Their current development is extraordinary and needs to be appreciated so that by looking at the situation like that they could have been in a better position and it is not impossible that they are in the Champions League or Europa League.

Their attack and goal productivity is even better than  that of Madrid and Barcelona (so far) and that shows that Girona are a force to be reckoned with. Although Im not sure about the championship but Im optimistic that theyll be in a good position  by the end of the season. 

But still this will still be very lacking if they do not show their performance in mid-season even until the end of the season so that with their confidence now Girona only need to continue to give the best performance in every match they do.
This is important because I think if they continue to be consistent regardless of their position at the end of the season and just focus until the end of the season they will definitely be in a good place rather than busy thinking about position because in the end the position also adjusts to the performance.

Girona this weekend will gets easy opponent because at their home they will fight against Alaves and i know as promotion team Alaves performance was quite good because at least they can managed their position on league standings and their position currently at 12th place but Girona records was so fantastic this season because they almost being an the winner for each matches in Laliga and their home matches or away matches records are equally good

The winning result from Barcelona is really make people start to notice them and the players just like Artem Dovbyk, Cristhian Stuani and Savio is became an important player for Girona and they also has successfully to help Girona to performing well for each matches however about the match against Alaves these players most likely will be available this weekend because they are in the good fitness and regarding head to head records this is the first time for both teams to met since 2019 and based on the odds i can see it now Girona is the favourite with odds @1.54

They have done well in the early few matches and so far they are doing well but going forward Real Madrid will become more formidable then it may not be an easy task for Girona to resist this Real Madrid. In order to win the La Liga title, Girona must maintain a consistent performance until the end of the season, even if they can't win against the big teams, they must at least think of a draw, but they can still dream of the La Liga title.

Bilbao actually got a lot of opportunities. However, after the quick goal they scored, Granada's defense appeared more disciplined. Bilbao dominated and tried to get another goal, but this left a gap for Granada to get a goal.
