Funny how Osasuna was leading and fall short by the incredible comeback pulled by Gironistes. The visitors didn't come to El Saldar stadium for jokes, ofcourse they meant business and have benefited in hitting the scoresheet with goals to put them infront. Girona are in good form this current season, only recorded one defeat against an elite team, I do compliment such good results coming from Míchel men. Atletico didn't expect such from a team they could consider weak buy then they failed to keep at heart that in football underestimating a team could end sadly, I Felt Atletico would comfortably win Las Palmas yesterday but sadly rhe reverse was the case to my suprise.Las palmas was playing from home and I guess they were very effective with their advantage, Atletico would have been at equal points with Real Madrid if they have won that game against Las Palmas yesterday buy like u did said which is correct, it's Normal that big teams at rime loose points buy will layer try to make up for it and get back on track and I think Atletico can do such as they have the strength.

@mamesso, Las Palmas is not a weak team this season if you look at the results of their last 5 matches, including against Atletico Madrid. Las Palmas have won 4 of 5 consecutive matches so far, including beating Atletico Madrid. There is nothing strange if the statistics of the two are compared, but Las Palmas seems to be very strong in defense and they are also good at taking advantage of their opportunities. Las Palmas only conceded 10 goals in 11 matches before facing Atletico Madrid, in fact they are much better than Villareal and Sevilla this season.

You could say this was a painful defeat for Atletico, when they needed points, they wasted points. Atletico's play was very irregular, they won some games that seemed difficult for them but other times they lost against teams that had just been promoted.
On the other hand, Las Palmas is very strong, especially at home. Las Palmas have played a very good game since the league started. But they always need to give away more goals, in the last few games they have stepped it up and if they play really good football then the wins will come.

I really don't know what is happening with Atletico Madrid especially when they are in their best form in La Liga matches. It was surprising that they had to suffer defeat against Las Palmas who basically did not have a good form compared to Atletico Madrid.
Las Palmas are not too bad especially in the way they defend and build attacks, but Atletico Madrid are clearly favored due to the depth of their squad. If not for the consolation goal by Morata in the late minutes of the game Atletico Madrid would had lost 2-0 yesterday which would've been more embarrassing after having a fine winning run I was even suprised to see that Las Palmas dominated the possession, though Atletico Madrid had more chances but they could create better chances to get a comeback and draw or win the game.
