You're right, the odds was very tricky cause alot of people expected Atletico Madrid to win the game, based on their winning streak but I still don't why Atletico failed to read the game properly it seems they underestimated Las Palmas capability or maybe Las Palmas was more good defensively than Atletico, I'm even suprised that Las Palmas dominated the game mostly and utilized 2 shots on target out of 3 properly.
 
 Maybe there's something Diego Simeone didn't do right cause by right they should've been able to beat Las Palmas even though they're the visiting team, if they had won they would've shared same points with Realmadrid but they could drop to the 4th place cause if Barcelona wins tomorrow they'll be above them and stay at the 3rd place, this win by Las Palmas has boosted them to 9th place and they're currently sharing same points with Rayo-vallecano.

Sometimes people are quick at calling out the winner too early when there are two teams against each other that in the table are separated by quite a few points, but I think that in terms of potential performances these teams maybe closer to each other than it sometimes looks. Las Palmas is not really a bad team, but it is still a team that can defend itself. But Atletico convinced me and I thought this is the team that maybe strong enough to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid for the whole season and still be in the fight for the title when we are coming to an end of 23/24.

I don't think Girona is capable of becoming the champions this season, they are doing good but then i still think qualifying for the champions league is more fusible for them than becoming the champions of the laliga this season there are tougher contenders.

I was watching the Girona game just now and I’m impressed. They’re top of the table and playing some beautiful football while at it. Hope they’re able to sustain it. They’re three points clear at the top as we speak. I think their style of play is beautiful, they deserve where they are. This club is going to go far this season, if Real Madrid or Barcelona doesn't win the league then I'm backing Girona to do it. There’s something about them that I like. They’re Putting pressure on Real Madrid, and it’s not just a narrow win but they score lots of goals too.

As it should be for them, Girona as a team reminds me of Leicester City during the season they returned to the Premier League and win the Premier League that same season with determination, hardwork and togetherness amongst the players.

Girona always gives surprises, maybe they are motivated to maintain their position in the standings, they don't want to make mistakes that cause them to lose or draw, that's why they always perform well in every match.
