I also believe that seeing this duo in the same team is going to stay as a dream.

Because these players are already the biggest candidates for being next GOATs in football. Both of them are mainly playing as a striker. Mbappe can play as a winger just as he did at France in the World Cup though. But the real problem is not there as you have mentioned. Having two superstars in the same team could be really dangerous. Maybe people can give an example of the Messi, Mbappe and Neymar trio at PSG. But this isn't a proof that it can always work smoothly. If one of Mbappe and Haaland starts being uncomfortable this would affect the team performance in a bad way also.

We don't know if Real Madrid are still interested in signing Mbappe in the near future after his contract failed to be agreed last season. but in fact, Real Madrid could have brought in other players who are no less shining than Mbappe. No doubt since benzema must always absence from playing with real madrid due to the his injury. Lewandowski has become the key for barcelona to win the la liga but not for the champion league. Lewandowski has been going out from champion league and he was feeling so disappointed with it. It's the time for lewandowski to continue his record in la liga by making more goal. Who knows it isn't impossible in the end. I already think about Mbappe transfer to happen in a few years. I think he will spend his time with PSG for 2 or 3 more years the most - including this one. After that Real Madrid would have the upper hand on signing Mbappe rather than some other team. They were already close to it last summer but PSG's insane contract changed his mind. Real Madrid would just offer a similar contract and convince him. Haaland is also going to be available by paying his release clause in 2 years seemingly. Lewandowski is one of the most critical players for Barcelona indeed. He has done an amazing job in both tournamens you mentioned. I think Barcelona have done the right thing by signing him to replace Aubameyang. I don't want to underestimate Aubameyang's effort until leaving the team of course. He was like reborn after joining Barcelona. He started to score much easier than before. However Barcelona were still deserving a better top striker than him and the Lewandowski opportunity was too good to miss.

The only problem Lewandowski has had since the beginning of the season is with big matches. He has been very ineffective in like all of such matches which must be really worrying for Barcelona. They will need him to fix this issue as of now otherwise it might affect them really deeply in the La Liga and Europa League both.

But will it materialize in the near future? I do not think so. Rumors about Mbappe's move to the Real Madrid squad in my opinion will be a rumor that will not be realized now (don't know for the future). We also know that Karen Paris Saint Germain gave her best to still have a Mbappe. I don't know how much money Real Madrid will spend to bring Mbabbap to the Santiago Bernabeu now.

It looks like it will be very difficult for Real Madrid to get the first Mbappe maybe because the transfer clause is so expensive and the second I think it could happen if Benzema retires. Especially now that Real Madrid still doesn't fully need a new striker and they are still solid enough to navigate the league competition next season.

If you following Real Madrid matches this season you shouldn't be too surprised because while Benzema got injured Ancelotti has several times played Rodrygo as centre forward although in the term of goal productivities he still lack of goals compared to Benzema but at least he can covered Benzema position in the team and performing well and if Benzema absence for upcoming matches i think Ancelotti don't have any other option besides playing him again as centre forward and this formation probably will be used often unless Madrid gets new strikers however Madrid was very selective to buy players so they always be want the players with big names and currently they were linked to several players so i am curious who is the player that will be bought by Madrid this January
