Atletico Madrid is a good team and they have a chance to do well in La-Liga. But their biggest tough opponents are Barcelona and Real Madrid, these two teams will be very difficult to beat. After the World Cup we will see the magnificent La Liga match.
Atletico Madrid cannot beat the two big teams unless they want to try and improve good teamwork because in fact all team strengths can become weak when they cannot work as a team well, whereas if Atletico Madrid are able to do that then they still have a chance to get the win.
The Atlético Madrid players are actually not bad, it's just that they are too ambitious to retain coach Diego Simeone, who we know has coached Atlético Madrid for nearly ten years and he was unable to give Atlético Madrid a supremacy title. Maybe Altetico Madrid's management needs to be fixed first, otherwise they will still be below and maybe even worse he will suffer the same fate as Valencia.
Athletico is a good side with a good coach, but their inconsistency shows that they are not ready to win anything nor compete fiercely with Madrid and Barca.Madrid and Barcelona have two good attackers in the person's of Lewandowski and Benzema, who always deliver them and score important goals for them, but Athletico does not have a prolific goal scorer who scores regular goals for them. But even at that,if there was team work in the Athletico team, they would have been winning matches.Nevertheless, the January transfer window is fast approaching, when teams will sign players from the market, and maybe, they will be able to get players that can help them pick form.
But this inconsistent Atletico Madrid has been going on for years and they should have started to improve from the coaches to the players. If they only rely on one player in the attack line, of course it will not produce any results. Look at the list of players they mostly still have a lot of old players in their squad like Koke, Carrasco and Jan Oblak how will they get the most out of it if they don't look for replacements for new players who are younger and fitter.
Well, I think that Spanish football has learned that it cannot leave everything in the hands of the young players, because it has been very evident that it cannot find its north, in a team it should always be considered to have veteran players that show the change to the most young people, because it is very easy to crash and that is not what is sought, for me what is becoming evident for Atlético is that Cholo must change his strategy a lot, and not try to sell in his transfer window but on the contrary Comprar to strengthen the team and here what is sought is to reap more victories.
Real Madrid has always prioritized business over camaraderie. Regardless of whether Benzema won the Ballon d'Or, his age is a risky bet, particularly for a club like Real Madrid which continuously aspires to be at the highest of La Liga and the Champions League. Real Madrid needs Benzema for an additional season. The ultimate goal of Real Madrid in 2024 will be Haaland, whose contract allows him to be available for international transfer.
Then again, Is Mbappe out of the Real Madrid conversation?
Gradually Karim Benzema is advancing into the age of retirement and this has been a major problem for Real Madrid finding a suitable replacement for him before he finally leaves. I know it is a risk and gamble to offer Benzema a new contract but I think Real Madrid are ready and willing to risk it all to get Benzema to continue with a new contract to be issued. Real Madrid needs Benzema until they finally get a good replacement for him. Mbappe to Real Madrid seems unlikely to happen for now though.
Well, the thing about Benzema is something that surprises, but we think that he should stay at least to play in Euro 2024, he can, I think that a player at 35 still has a lot to give, I think that at 43 he is the age at which a soccer player should retire, because that is where age is felt the most but it is when more experience is had, we have the example of a Paolo Maldini, a Buffon, they are emblematic players who are icons of their countries and who are icons of their clubs, their clubs always gave them the putsto, why retire so quickly? It is good that they give space to new and younger players, but these players who are legends should contribute much more.
Something very controversial about Benzema:
Deschamps ordered the departure of Karim Benzema from Qatar through team doctor
Karim Benzema has been one of the world’s most prolific strikers in recent times. Ever since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, the veteran forward has stepped up his game and has become the leader of the Real Madrid frontline.
The striker was even rewarded for his contributions at Real Madrid with a Ballon d’Or title earlier this year. However, even though Benzema has been wildly successful during his time at Real Madrid, he has been never been able to express himself in the French national team.
Several reports within French media have suggested that Benzema never trains to full capacity when he is training with the French national team, which leaves coach Didier Deschamps somewhat betrayed.
In a recent report, Diario AS (h/t Los Blancos Live) has relayed the words of the French team doctor, who has revealed that it was indeed Deschamps who had ordered the attacker to return to Madrid after he picked up a tragic injury just before the start of the World Cup.
“I’m sorry, Karim, you have to leave,” the doctor had told Benzema. He later revealed that his ‘cold’ words to Benzema were based on the orders of Deschamps, who was present but opted to remain silent.
This comes in the midst of reports that suggest that the report Real Madrid received for Benzema was not serious enough for the player to be sent back home.
